AMR Ramesh is making his new film in four languages. The film is about the assassination of former prime minister Rajiv Gandhi and the events following that to find his killers. Ramesh has also made Cyanide earlier which was also about finding the killers.

This film will have a bigger scope and sources say feature actors playing Rajiv Gandhi and LTTE leader Prabhakaran. More interesting is that it will be made in four languages. In Kannada it is named Aasphota. In Hindi and Telugu it is named The Human Bomb. In Tamil it will be called Manidha Vedigundu

A M R Ramesh's new film 'Aspota' which is based on the assassination of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi was launched in Bangalore. Retired Special Director of CBI D R Karthikeyan, retired DGPs Kuchanna Srinivasan and Gopal B Hosur and retired DG and IGP Ramalingam handed over the script and clap board of the film to A M R Ramesh.

After a film about Veerappan called 'Attahasa', director Ramesh is back with Veerappan yet again. This time, he is directing a web series called 'Veerappan - Hunger for Killing'.

The web series was recently launched at the KSRP 3rd Battalion Grounds in Kormangala in Bangalore. Many well known police officers including KSRP ADGP Alok Kumar and others were present at the occasion and wished Ramesh and his team a huge success.

Actor Kishore who had acted as Veerappan in 'Attahasa' is reprising his role in this web series. Arjun Sarja will also be playing a prominent role in it. Ramesh plans to do a web series of 12 to 14 episodes. The web series tells the rise and fall of forest brigand Veerappan.

Normally celebrities celebrate their birthday in a grand style. But A M R Ramesh decided to celebrate his birthday differently this time. The director turned actor A M R Ramesh of 'Cyanide' fame recently celebrated his birthday with environmentalist Saalumarada Thimmakka and donated her Rs 25000. Not only that, he even met the families of farmers who died in the recent times and helped them by donating money to them.

'I heard that Saalumarada Thimmakka is in urgent need of money and I have been reading news about farmers suicide in the recent times. So, I decided to donate money for the welfare of them, instead of spending unnecessarily. So, I met Saalumarada Thimmmakka and others and celebrated my birthday with them' said A M R Ramesh.

Arjun Sarja starrer 'Game' to be directed by A  M R Ramesh of 'Cyanide' fame is all set to be launched on the 16th of February at a temple in Bangalore. 'Game' is said to be a murder mystery with lot of current issues that are hogging the limelight. Arjun plays a cop who is behind a murder mystery in this film. Tamil actor Shyam plays a negative character in the film. There are two heroines in the film and Manisha Koirala is likely to play one of the characters.

Ramesh apart from direction, is also scripting and producing the film. The film will be simultaneously shot in Kannada and Tamil.

Recently there was news that South India's well known music director Ilayaraja has completed 1000 films as a music director and Bala's new film 'Tharai Thappattai' would be his 1000th film as a music director. Now director A M R Ramesh has claimed that Ilayaraja's 1001 film will be his directorial venture 'Game'.

Earlier, there was news that A M R Ramesh will be roping in Sandeep Chowta to compose the music for 'Game' starring Arjun Sarja, Manisha Koirala, Shyam and others. After that Ilayaraja replaced Sandeep Chowta and 'Game' will be his 1001 film as a music director.

The film is almost complete and A M R Ramesh is planning to release the film on the 05th of February.

If you are looking for an unusual film that is different from the regular run of the mill that comes out of Sandalwood, Game is the film for you. It is a suspense film with loads of thrills and a few chills as well. It is like the thrillers that come out of Hollywood. A very rare kind of film in Kannada.

Almost the entire film takes place in one night. Of course there are quite a few flashbacks to give the film a perspective. A dead body goes missing in a mortuary. The security guard is scared and runs away only to meet with an accident. The police investigation team arrives and takes stock of the strange happenings. The husband of the dead woman is the only suspect. He is summoned to the forensic lab. After his arrival, more strange things begin to happen.

It is a tight story and screenplay with a fast paced narrative that keeps the audience on the edge of their seats. The background score and songs by Ilayaraja adds magic to the film. 

This is Manisha Koirala's first Kannada film and she gives a professional performance. Arjun Sarja is on the top of the game. He gives a brilliant performance as the investigation officer.

Game is a new kind of film for Sandalwood that will thrill all kinds of audience. Enjoy the show.

If everything had gone right, then Arjun Sarja starrer 'Game' should have been released by the 05th of February. But due to various reasons, the film has been postponed and now the film is all set to release on the 26th of February.

'Game' is being directed and scripted by A M R Ramesh who had earlier directed films like 'Veerappan Attahasa', 'Cyanide' and others. Ramesh says that this film is about a high profile murder mystery with lots of thrilling elements. The film will be made in three languages.

Arjun Sarja, Shyam, Manisha Koirala, Neha Saxena, Aqsa Bhatt and others play prominent roles in the film. Ilayaraja has composed the music for the film and it is his 1001th film as a music director.

Indira Lankesh, mother of the deceased journalist Gauri Lankesh has sent a notice to director A M R Ramesh not to make a film on the late journalist and if the film is made, then a defamation case to the tune of Rs 10 crores will be filed on Ramesh.

After the death of Gauri Lankesh, A M R Ramesh had announced that he will make a film on her. Though Ramesh had announced that he will do a film, he had not specified when the film will be made. Meanwhile, Gauri's mother Indira Lankesh has sent a notice to Ramesh regarding the film.

However, Ramesh has said that he will do the film for sure. 'The issue is in public domain and everybody is independent to do a film. Right now I am just doing research and the police are still investigating the case, The film will start once the case is concluded' says Ramesh.

The confrontation between two film makers over a title has intensified. On Friday, Tharun Shivappa announced that his film with Shivarajkumar which is named Mass Leader will continue with the same title.

He said that AMR Ramesh was quiet from the beginning and when the film is now ready for release has created a controversy. Director Producer AMR Ramesh has retaliated saying he will hold a protest in front of the KFCC. He owns the title Leader and said that Mass Leader is a copy of his title.

On Saturday he has announced that he will hold a protest on Monday in front of KFCC

Director producer AMR Ramesh has approached the city civil court with a suit for injunction against Shivarajkumar's film Mass Leader. The suit has been filed by AMR Ramesh and his wife Indumathi against Tarun Talkis, Tharun Shivappa, KFCC and the Censor Board. The case has been filed on July 27 itself and Ramesh has released the details of the suit to the media. However the court's order is not forthcoming. The film is scheduled for release next week.

What will happen to the film's release now is a suspense. Ramesh has objected to the title contending that he has registered the title Leader and it was wrong for others to use similar titles.

ರಮೇಶ್ ಅರವಿಂದ್, ಕೈತುಂಬಾ ಮೈತುಂಬಾ ಕೆಲಸ ಹಚ್ಚಿಕೊಂಡುಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಒಂದು ಕಡೆ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರಾಗಿ ಬಟರ್‍ಫ್ಲೈ ಚಿತ್ರವನ್ನು ಕನ್ನಡ ಮತ್ತು ತಮಿಳಿನಲ್ಲಿ ತೊಡಗಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇನ್ನೊಂದು ಕಡೆ ರಾಧಿಕಾ ಕುಮಾರಸ್ವಾಮಿ ಜೊತೆ ಭೈರಾದೇವಿ ಚಿತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ನಟಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ಕಡೆ ಕನ್ನಡದ ಕೋಟ್ಯಧಿಪತಿ ರಿಯಾಲಿಟಿ ಶೋ ನಿರೂಪಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇದೆಲ್ಲದರ ಮಧ್ಯೆ ವಿಲನ್ ಪಾತ್ರಕ್ಕೂ ಓಕೆ ಎಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಇನ್ಸ್‍ಪೆಕ್ಟರ್ ವಿಕ್ರಂ ಚಿತ್ರದ ನಿರ್ಮಾಪಕರು ಎ.ಆರ್.ವಿಖ್ಯಾತ್. ರಮೇಶ್ ಅರವಿಂದ್ ಅವರ 100ನೇ ಸಿನಿಮಾ ಪುಷ್ಕಕವಿಮಾನ ಚಿತ್ರ ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಿದ್ದವರು. ಆ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯೂ ವಿಲನ್ ಪಾತ್ರ ಒಪ್ಪಿಕೊಳ್ಳೋಕೆ ಕಾರಣವಾಗಿದೆ. ನರಸಿಂಹ ನಿರ್ದೇಶನದ ಚಿತ್ರ, ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ಶೇ.60ರಷ್ಟು ಚಿತ್ರೀಕರಣ ಮುಗಿಸಿದೆ.

ಶಿವರಾಜ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಅಭಿನಯದ ಮಾಸ್ ಲೀಡರ್ ಚಿತ್ರ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆಗೆ ಸಿದ್ಧವಾಗಿದೆ. ಸಿನಿಮಾ ಸೆನ್ಸಾರ್ ಆಗಿ, ರಿಲೀಸ್ ಡೇಟ್ ಅನೌನ್ಸ್ ಆಗಿ, ಚಿತ್ರಮಂದಿರಗಳ ಪಟ್ಟಿಯೂ ಪ್ರಕಟವಾಗಿದೆ. ಸಿನಿಮಾ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಹೊಸ್ತಿಲಲ್ಲಿರುವಾಗ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕ, ನಿರ್ಮಾಪಕ ಎಎಂಆರ್ ರಮೇಶ್ ಮತ್ತು ಅವರ ಪತ್ನಿ ಇಂದುಮತಿ ಕೋರ್ಟ್ ಮೆಟ್ಟಿಲೇರಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಲೀಡರ್ ಟೈಟಲ್ ನನ್ನ ಹೆಸರಲ್ಲಿ ರಿಜಿಸ್ಟರ್ ಆಗಿದೆ. ಚಿತ್ರದ ಟೈಟಲ್ ಕಾರ್ಡ್​​ನಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಸ್ ಎಂಬ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ಚಿಕ್ಕದಾಗಿಟ್ಟು, ಲೀಡರ್ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ದೊಡ್ಡದಾಗಿ ತೋರಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಇದು ಕಾಪಿರೈಟ್​ ಉಲ್ಲಂಘನೆ ಎನ್ನುವುದು ಎಎಂಆರ್ ರಮೇಶ್ ವಾದ. ಸಿಟಿ ಸಿವಿಲ್ ಕೋರ್ಟ್ ಚಿತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ತಡೆಯಾಜ್ಞೆ ನೀಡಿರುವುದು ಕೂಡಾ ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಗೊತ್ತಿರುವ ವಿಚಾರ.

ಕೋರ್ಟ್ ತಡೆ ನೀಡಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ಸಿನಿಮಾ ನಿಗದಿಯಂತೆ ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ 11ಕ್ಕೆ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆಯಾಗುವುದು ಅನುಮಾನ. ಮಾಸ್ ಲೀಡರ್ ಚಿತ್ರ ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಿರುವ ತರುಣ್ ಟಾಕೀಸ್ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ ಹಾಗೂ ನಿರ್ಮಾಪಕ ತರುಣ್ ಶಿವಪ್ಪ ಸಿಟಿ ಸಿವಿಲ್ ಕೋರ್ಟ್​​ನಲ್ಲಿ  ತಮ್ಮ ವಾದ ಮಂಡಿಸಬೇಕು. ಈ ಹಂತದಲ್ಲಿ ಸುಪ್ರೀಂಕೋರ್ಟ್​​ನ ಹಳೆಯ ತೀರ್ಪೊಂದು ಮಾಸ್ ಲೀಡರ್ ಚಿತ್ರತಂಡದ ನೆರವಿಗೆ ಬರುವ ಸಾಧ್ಯತೆಗಳಿವೆ.

ಎರಡು ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಹಿಂದೆ ಅಕ್ಷಯ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಅಭಿನಯದ ಹಿಂದಿ ಚಿತ್ರ Desi Boyz ವಿರುದ್ಧ Desi Boys ಚಿತ್ರತಂಡದ ಕಥೆಗಾರ ದೇವ್​ಕಟ್ಟಾ ಎಂಬುವರು ಸುಪ್ರೀಂಕೋರ್ಟ್ ಮೊರೆ ಹೋಗಿದ್ದರು.  Desi Boyz ಚಿತ್ರದ ಟೈಟಲ್​ನ್ನು ಪ್ರಶ್ನಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಎರಡೂ ಚಿತ್ರಗಳ ಟೈಟಲ್​ನಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ವ್ಯತ್ಯಾಸ S & Z ಎಂಬ ಸ್ಪೆಲ್ಲಿಂಗ್ ಬದಲಾವಣೆಯಷ್ಟೆ. ಆ ಪ್ರಕರಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಸುಪ್ರೀಂಕೋರ್ಟ್ ನೀಡಿದ್ದ ತೀರ್ಪು ಕಾಪಿರೈಟ್ ವಿವಾದಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಐತಿಹಾಸಿಕ ಎಂದೇ ಪರಿಗಣಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದೆ. 

ಚಿತ್ರದ ಕಥೆ, ಚಿತ್ರಕಥೆಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಕಾಪಿರೈಟ್ ಇರುತ್ತದೆಯೇ ಹೊರತು, ಚಿತ್ರದ ಟೈಟಲ್​ ಮೇಲೆ ಯಾರೂ ಕೂಡಾ ಕಾಪಿರೈಟ್ ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ. ಅವು ಪದಗಳಷ್ಟೆ. ಆ ಪದವನ್ನೇ ಟೈಟಲ್ ಆಗಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡು ಕೊಂಡು ಮತ್ತೊಬ್ಬರು ಬೇರೆ ಸಿನಿಮಾ ಮಾಡಿದರೂ ಅದು ಕಾಪಿರೈಟ್ ಉಲ್ಲಂಘನೆ ಆಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದಿತ್ತು ಸುಪ್ರೀಂಕೋರ್ಟ್. ಸುಪ್ರೀಂಕೋರ್ಟ್ ತೀರ್ಪಿನ ಪ್ರಕಾರ Desi ಅಥವಾ Boys ಅಥವಾ Boys ನಿಘಂಟಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ  ಪದಗಳಷ್ಟೇ. 

ಮಾಸ್​ ಲೀಡರ್​ ಚಿತ್ರದ ಟೈಟಲ್ ವಿವಾದದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೈಕೋರ್ಟ್ ಸುಪ್ರೀಂಕೋರ್ಟ್​ನ ಈ ತೀರ್ಪನ್ನು ಪರಿಗಣಿಸಿದರೆ, ಎಎಂಆರ್ ರಮೇಶ್​ ವಾದಕ್ಕೆ ಹಿನ್ನಡೆಯಾಗಬಹುದು. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ, ಇದೇ ತೀರ್ಪನ್ನು ಆಧರಿಸಿ ಈ ಹಿಂದೆ ಮುರುಗನ್ ದಾಸ್ ನಿರ್ದೇಶನದ ರಾಜರಾಣಿ ಎಂಬ ತಮಿಳು ಚಿತ್ರದ ವಿವಾದದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಮದ್ರಾಸ್ ಹೈಕೋರ್ಟ್ ತೀರ್ಪು ನೀಡಿತ್ತು. ರಾಜ ರಾಣಿ ಎಂಬುದು ಪದಗಳಷ್ಟೇ. ಆ ಪದಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಯಾರೂ ಕಾಪಿರೈಟ್ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿತ್ತು.

ಸರ್ ಆರ್ಥರ್‌ ಕೊನಾನ್ ಡಾಯ್ಲ್, ಇಂಗ್ಲಿಷ್ ಕಾದಂಬರಿ ಲೋಕದ ವಿಶಿಷ್ಟ ಹೆಸರು. ಶೆರ್ಲಾಕ್ ಹೋಮ್ಸ್ ಪಾತ್ರದ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಕರ್ತ. ಪತ್ತೇದಾರನಾದವನು ಹೀಗೆಯೇ ಇರಬೇಕು ಎಂಬ ಕಲ್ಪನೆಗೆ ಕಸುವು ತುಂಬಿದ ಕಥೆಗಾರ. ಕನ್ನಡದಲ್ಲಿ ಶೆರ್ಲಾಕ್ ಹೋಮ್ಸ್ ಮಾದರಿಯ ಹಲವು ಕಥೆಗಾರರು ಬಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಆದರೆ.. ಅದೇಕೋ ಏನೋ.. ಆ ಮಾದರಿಯ ಪಾತ್ರವನ್ನಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡು ಸಿನಿಮಾ ಮಾಡಿದವರಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಅಂಥಾದ್ದೊಂದು ಕಥೆಯ ಬರಕ್ಕೆ ಫುಲ್ ಸ್ಟಾಪ್ ಇಟ್ಟಿರುವುದು ಆಕಾಶ್ ಶ್ರೀವತ್ಸ.

ಶಿವಾಜಿ ಸುರತ್ಕಲ್ ಸಿನಮಾದ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕ ಇವರೇ. ಗೆಳೆಯ ಅಭಿಷೇಕ್ ಜೊತೆಗೂಡಿ ರಚಿಸಿದ ಕಥೆಗೆ ಶಕ್ತಿ ತುಂಬಿರುವುದು ರಮೇಶ್ ಅರವಿಂದ್. ಒಂದರ್ಥದಲ್ಲಿ ರಮೇಶ್, ಕನ್ನಡದ ಶೆರ್ಲಾಕ್ ಹೋಮ್ಸ್ ಎನ್ನಬಹುದು. 100 ಕೇಸುಗಳನ್ನು ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿ ಪೂರೈಸಿರುವ ಶಿವಾಜಿಗೆ ಸಿಗುವ 101ನೇ ಕೇಸ್ ಕಥೆಯೇ ಈ ಸಿನಿಮಾ.
