In a sigh of relief to action king Arjun Sarja, the Karnataka High Court on Friday ordered police not to arrest him till November 14. 

However, the court made it clear that the investigation into the complaint filed by actress Sruthi Hariharan accusing Arjun Sarja of sexually abusing her since 2015, shall continue.

The actor who is accused of sexual harassment by actress Sruthi Hariharan, has approached the High Court seeking to quash the complaint filed against him by Sruthi, and the FIR registered based upon it by the Cubbon Park police. 

Arjun Sarja has alleged that the case and complaint is a classic case of austere abuse of law and launching malicious and vile attacks on an innocent man who thrived hard all along to stand out with the portrait of gentleman.

Saying that he and Arjun Sarja have been friends for a long time and someone that he shares his journey along with as an artiste, the national award winning actor Prakash Raj has said clarifying that he never held Arjun as guilty.

While clarifying his stand on the 'me too’ allegations concerning actress Sruthi Hariharan accusing Arjun Sarja of sexual harassment, Raj adds that he has known Arjun Sarja better than many.

“Sruthi is not an 'opportunistic woman’ as many are accusing her of. She is a confident and talented woman. It is the same society which has helped her grow as an artiste just like any one of us. They both (Sruthi and Arjun) have a lot of potential to work further in various social fields. Hence in these backdrop, it is better for everyone to understand on what I am actually seeking for in this sensitive issue,” Prakash says.

He concludes requesting a few seniors in the industry to hold a dialogue between the two and solve the issue at the earliest without any prejudice, and in an impartial manner.

Today's Me Too allegation by Sruthi Hariharan against Arjun Sarja has set off a strange situation in the film industry. More than being outraged against the alleged incident most film industry people are questioning the allegation itself. This is not surprising for many reasons. 

Forget that Arjun Sarja is a senior actor who has not had a single allegation against him for the last four decades since the time he was a child artiste. Also forget that he has an impeccable reputation and known as the 'gentleman'. The allegation comes from an actress who has been outspoken about the cause. A week ago she supported Sangeetha Bhat who made allegations without naming anybody. Before that she spoke in a media conclave saying casting couch was present in the film industry. 

The Me Too movement may be an occasion for bringing out the skeletons out of the cupboard even if they are very very old. This incident Sruthi Hariharan speaks of is less than two years old. It is surprising that she did not make it an issue right on the spot. Her conduct after the alleged incident is also unconvincing. People who are trolling her and using harsh words on her are wrong in that aspect. But they are questioning why she continued to seen with Arjun Sarja after the shooting was completed. 

There may be no time limit for Me Too but the accusers have to keep in mind that they need to provide the proof of the allegation. This is not just a legal requirement when the accused file a defamation case. It is also a moral obligation as the reputation of the accused is put to test before their families and public. Even if there is one iota of truth, the accused need to face the consequence. But right now Sruthi Hariharan has not made any case for legal action. She is not filing a compliant against him nor asked the KFCC or any other organisation for action. She has just named Arjun Sarja and put him in an embarrassing and career tarnishing position. If there is truth in the allegation let her demand action against him. She has said that she has proof of the incident. If it is real it should be made public instead of making such allegations which put the entire industry under scanner. 

After the much important KFCC meeting chaired by rebel star Ambareesh over Sruthi's 'me too’ allegations against Arjun Sarja, failed to come to a conclusion while asking the two actors to confirm their final stand by Friday, both Arjun and Sruthi stood firm on their decision.

While Arjun Sarja who addressed the media, for the first time after being accused of sexual harassment said that he is deeply pained by the accusations and made it clear that he will not compromise.

“If it was only me, I would have forgotten it as a minor issue, but it has caused immense pain to all my loved ones and mostly my fans across three states. Hence, with all due respect to the seniors in the chamber and Ambareesh, I will not compromise. The 'me too’ movement, which is a great movement has been misused. The truth will come out soon which will serve as an example who are targeting innocents by misusing the movement,” Arjun Sarja said.

Whereas, Sruthi said that she was surprised to know that Arjun Sarja has filed two cases against her while she had withheld her decision to file a complaint after the chamber asked her to attend the meeting. 

“It is always the women who gets victimized whenever she raises her voice. In fact I'm glad that Arjun Sarja wants to fight it out in the court of law. I will wait till tomorrow (Friday) to hear it from the chamber before going further in the matter,” Sruthi said.

Earlier, rebel star Ambareesh said that after hearing both of them who have expressed pain and displeasure from their own perspective, he couldn't do much as the matter has already reached the court but to advise the two to come to a final decision by tomorrow for chamber to arrive on its stand.

Prema Baraha is a romantic film set in the backdrop of the Kargil War in 1999. This is a special film for that reason. It may be recalled that one of the greatest Kannada films Muttina Haara was set in the backdrop of the Indo-Pak and the India-China Wars. There are not many films in Kannada with war backdrops but Prema Baraha fulfills that missing link. 

The film starts in the present time and Chandan a very successful businessman is reminded of his days as a television reporter in the 1990s. He lives in the same apartment complex as that of another television reporter played by Aishwarya Arjun. The two are from different channels and circumstances make them competitors. They are both assigned for some special stories and they do not reveal it to their teams and go to Delhi. There they are told that they will be covering the Kargil War. They take up the challenge together. Though they have known each other for sometime by then it is during the war that they fall in love with each other. But they are in such a circumstance that they cannot do it. 

But life teaches them that love is more important than other things. How it happens forms the rest of the story. But it is not just the plot but the way in which Arjun Sarja handles the narration that keeps the audience engaged with the film and fall in love with the characters. 

Every scene is presented in a manner that will endear the character to the viewers. There are so many characters and top actors for even small roles. There is a big star cast that includes Suhasini Maniratnam, Prakash Rai, K Vishwanath, Sadhu Kokila and others. There is also guest appearance by Challenging Star Darshan, Chiranjeevi Sarja and Dhruva Sarja in a song. Jassie Gift has given some good and catchy scenes. 

After 'Rudra Thandava', actress Radhika is back to acting with a new film called 'Contract'. Radhika is paired opposite Arjun Sarja in this film and the shooting for the film is being held currently in Kolhapur.

'Contract' was launched almost four years back in Bangalore. However, there was no news about the film after the launch. Now the film seems to have been revived and the shooting for the film has started once again. Earlier, Minisha Lamba was said to be the heroine. Now Radhika has stepped into her shoes as the heroine.

The film is written and directed by Sameer. The film stars Arjun Sarja, Radhika, J D Chakravarthy, Faisal Khan and others in prominent roles. Anil Lal is the cameraman, while Subhash Anand is the music director.

Arjun Sarja released the fifth and final song of Ramleela starring Chiranjeevi Sarja and Amulya in Lead. This song was sung by Anup Rubens and lyric is written by Sudarshan.

The first song of the film sung by Puneeth was released by Dhruva Sarja and Second song was released by Upendra and Sanjjana. Third song was released by Shivarajkumar on Chiru birthday and fourth by Ganesh. he trailer of the film was launched by Darshna before the song were released.

Ramleela is produced by Soundarya Jagadeesh and directed by Vijay Kiran. Movie will get released in November.

As soon as Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce (KFCC) took up the matter of actress Sruthi Hariharan's 'me too’ allegations against actor Arjun Sarja, the actor's close associate Prashanth Sambargi made series of explosive revelations claiming that two male star actors are also involved in the ongoing campaign to malign and defame Arjun Sarja.

He adds, saying that actress Sruthi has engaged paid social media campaign to defame Arjun Sarja at international level.

“It is a well known fact that Arjun Sarja is working on his ambitious mission building a Lord Hanuman temple near Chennai at a cost of around Rs 25 crores. A paid media campaign has been engaged at international level by misusing the 'me too’ campaign to hurt the Hindu sentiments and to defame Arjun and his family members,” Sambargi told media in front of KFCC premises, even as KFCC was hearing the complaint filed before it by Rajesh, actor's father-in-law.

However, Sambargi refused to divulge information on who those star actors which he claims are involved in defaming Arjun Sarja. He even revealed that he has enclosed 400 pages of documentary evidence about by the entire campaign.

Further, Sambargi said that two more persons are gearing up to file defamation case against Sruthi for misusing the 'me too’ movement to defame the actor.

Following media reports over 'me too’ allegations by actress Sruthi Hariharan against actor Arjun Sarja accusing him of sexual harassment, the Karnataka State Women's Commission has taken up a suo motu case against Arjun Sarja.

It is learnt that the commission has written to the Bengaluru City Police Commissioner to investigate into the serious allegations made by the actress in the matter.

This is the second case against Arjun Sarja after Sruthi complained to the Cubbon Park police stating that Arjun Sarja sexually abused her since 2015.

In her complaint, the actress has also revealed that she is married to one Raam Kumar. It may be recalled that Arjun Sarja's close aide Prashanth Sambargi recently claimed before the media that a person by name 'Raam’ had contacted him urging to 'compromise’ in the matter.

There are even unconfirmed reports that Sruthi Hariharan will soon go abroad, the U.S., for further studies in the month of January in 2019.

Following her police complaint, Cubbon Park police along with the actress conducted mahazar procedure including the place U.B City premises as alleged in the complaint.

ನಾನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಹತ್ತಿರದಿಂದ ಬಲ್ಲೆ. ಅವರ ಜೊತೆ ಅಭಿನಯಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ನನಗೆ ಅವರಿಂದ ಯಾವತ್ತೂ ಕೆಟ್ಟ ಅನುಭವವಾಗಿಲ್ಲ. ನನಗೆ ಗೊತ್ತಿರುವಂತೆ ಅವರೊಬ್ಬ ಸಜ್ಜನ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿ. ಇದೇ ಮೊದಲ ಬಾರಿಗೆ ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಇಂಥಾದ್ದೊಂದು ಆರೋಪ ಕೇಳಿ ಬಂದಿದೆ. ಅವರು ಈ ಆರೋಪದಿಂದ ಮುಕ್ತರಾಗುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಚಿತ್ರರಂಗದ ಹಿರಿಯರು, ಇದೆಲ್ಲವನ್ನೂ ನೋಡಿಕೊಳ್ತಾರೆ ಎಂಬ ವಿಶ್ವಾಸವಿದೆ ಎಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಸುಧಾರಾಣಿ.

ಅರ್ಜುನ್ ಸರ್ಜಾ ಕನ್ನಡದಲ್ಲಷ್ಟೇ ಅಲ್ಲ, ತೆಲುಗು, ತಮಿಳಿನಲ್ಲೂ ಸ್ಟಾರ್ ನಟ. ಕನ್ನಡದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಗಳು ಐಶ್ವರ್ಯಾರನ್ನು ನಾಯಕಿಯಾಗಿ ಪರಿಚಯಿಸಿದ್ದ ಅರ್ಜುನ್ ಸರ್ಜಾ ಈಗ ತೆಲುಗಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಟ್ರೈ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ತೆಲುಗಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿನಿಮಾನೂ ಶುರುವಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಐಶ್ವರ್ಯಾ ಎದುರು ವಿಶ್ವಕ್ ಸೇನ್ ಎಂಬ ಹುಡುಗ ನಾಯಕನಾಗಿ ನಟಿಸೋಕೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿದ್ದರು. ಪವನ್ ಕಲ್ಯಾಣ್ ಬಂದು ಚಿತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಕ್ಲಾಪ್ ಮಾಡಿ ಶುಭ ಹಾರೈಸಿದ್ದರು. ಜಗಪತಿ ಬಾಬು ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಘಟಾನುಘಟಿಗಳು ಚಿತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದರು. ಹೀಗೆ ಅದ್ಧೂರಿಯಾಗಿಯೇ ಶುರುವಾದ ಚಿತ್ರ ಈಗ ಅರ್ಧಕ್ಕೆ ನಿಂತು ಹೋಗಿದೆ. ಚಿತ್ರವನ್ನೇ ಪ್ಯಾಕಪ್ ಎಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಅರ್ಜುನ್ ಸರ್ಜಾ. ಕಾರಣ ಹೀರೋ ವಿಶ್ವಕ್ ಸೇನ್.

ಇನ್ನೂ ಹೊಸ ಹುಡುಗ. ನಟನೆ ಇಷ್ಟವಾಗಿ ಚಿತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಹಾಕಿಕೊಂಡೆ. ಆದರೆ ಚಿತ್ರೀಕರಣಕ್ಕೆ ಬರುವುದಕ್ಕೇ ಸೋಮಾರಿತನ. ಒಂದು ದಿನ ಫೋನ್ ಮಾಡಿದರೆ ಪಾತ್ರಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ದೇಹ ಹುರಿಗೊಳಿಸಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಟೈಂ ತೆಗೆದುಕಕೊಂಡ. ಇದೇ ನೆಪದಲ್ಲಿ ಚಿತ್ರೀಕರಣವನ್ನೂ ಸ್ಥಗಿತವಾಗುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದ. ಕೇರಳದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯಬೇಕಿದ್ದ ಚಿತ್ರೀಕರಣಕ್ಕೂ ತಡೆ ಮಾಡಿದ. ಏನಾದರೂ ಒಂದು ನೆಪ ಹೇಳಿ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದ. ಮೂಡ್ ಇಲ್ಲ ಎನ್ನುತ್ತಿದ್ದ. ಕೊನೆಗೆ ಒಂದು ದಿನ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಿನಿಮಾಗೇ ರೆಡಿಯಾಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇನೆ ಎಂದು ಸಲೂನ್‍ನೊಳಗಿದ್ದ ಫೋಟೋ ತೋರಿಸಿದ. ನಾವು ರೆಡಿಯಾದರೆ ಮತ್ತದೇ ರಾಗ. ರೋಸಿ ಹೋಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಚಿತ್ರವನ್ನು ಪ್ಯಾಕಪ್ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇನೆ ಎಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಅರ್ಜುನ್ ಸರ್ಜಾ.

ಆದರೆ ವಿಶ್ವಕ್ ಸೇನ್ ಹೇಳೋದೇ ಬೇರೆ. ನನಗೆ ಸ್ಕ್ರಿಪ್ಟ್ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಒಂದಿಷ್ಟು ಗೊಂದಲಗಳಿದ್ದವು. ಆದರೆ ಏನಾದರೂ ಚೇಂಜ್ ಹೇಳಿದರೆ ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯಿಡು ಎನ್ನುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಚರ್ಚೆಗೆ ಆಸ್ಪದವೇ ಇರುತ್ತಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಹೀಗಾಗಿ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ದಿನ ಮಾಡಿದೆನಾದರೂ ಒಂದು ದಿನ ನಾನ್ಯಾಕೆ ಹೀಗೆ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಗೊಂದಲವಾಯಿತು. ಇವತ್ತೊಂದಿನ ಬಿಡಿ. ಚರ್ಚೆ ಮಾಡೋಣ ಎಂದೆ. ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಮ್ಯಾನೇಜರ್ ಮೂಲಕ ಇದುವರೆಗಿನ ಚಿತ್ರೀಕರಣಕ್ಕೆ ಇಷ್ಟು ವೆಚ್ಚವಾಗಿದೆ. ನೀವೇ ಕೊಡಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಲಿಸ್ಟ್ ಕಳಿಸಿದರು. ಇವತ್ತಿಗೂ ನಾನು ಚರ್ಚೆಗೆ ಸಿದ್ಧ ಎಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ ವಿಶ್ವಕ್ ಸೇನ್.
