ಹೀಗೆ 7 ಪಾತ್ರಗಳ ಮುಖಾಂತರ ಬದುಕಿನ ಕಥೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತೇವೆ. ಕಥೆಯೊಂದು ಶುರುವಾಗಿದೆ ಎನ್ನುವ ಟೈಟಲ್‍ನಲ್ಲೇ ಸಿನಿಮಾದ ಕಥೆಯೂ ಇದೆ. ಇದು ಸನ್ನಾ ಹೆಗ್ಡೆ ನಿರ್ದೇಶನದ ಕಥೆಯೊಂದು ಶುರುವಾಗಿದೆ ವಿಶೇಷಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು.

Actress Aindrita Ray is upset with news channel for wrongly accusing Prajwal and Diganth in the accident that occurred near South End Circle in Bangalore.

Recently, liquor baron Adikeshavalu's grandson was involved in an accident and Prajwal and Diganth's names were also involved in the case. Though there are no proof against both the actors, the news channels went on accusing the two in the case which has not only upset the two, but also the Sandalwood fraternity. Many celebrities including Jagggesh, Ambarish, Prem, Vijay Raghavendra and others have come in support of them.

Aindrita Ray also has come in support with the due and has slashed the news channels for wrongly projecting Prajwal and Diganth's name in the whole issue. Aindrita has said that she has lost hope in news channels as they are stooping to such low levels.

Actress Aindrita Ray who is not in much news these days is silently back with a new film and this time the actress is all set to be seen in an item number in Diganth starrer 'Sharp Shooter'. The shooting for the film which was launched a few months back has silently been completed except for a few songs. This item song is one among them and the makers were in search of a suitable actress and has finally finalised Aindrita Ray. The shooting for the item number will be starting in a couple of days.

The film marks the debut of lyricist and story writer Ghouse Peer into direction. 'Julie' Lakshmi, Sudharani, Mitra and others are playing prominent roles in the film.

Shiva Santhosh has composed the music for this film, while Karunakar is the cameraman.

Comedy star Chikkanna has been conferred the title Natural Star. It was displayed prominently for the first time in yesterday's release Sharp Shooter. Chikkanna is the comedian most in demand in recent years.

In four years since his debut, the actor has completed 50 films. These days he has a packed schedule and he has appeared in films of most top stars. His natural acting and native use of words and language has endeared him to audience.

Sharp Shooter is directed by Ghouse Peer and has Diganth in the lead. Chikkanna plays Diganth's friend in the film. Chikkanna has also tried his hand at writing lyrics and singing.

The trailer of the multistarrer film Chowka will be released either on Thursday or Friday this week. The shooting for the film was completed recently and the film is gearing up for release shortly. The trailer is planned to release just in time for Sankranti.

Chowka is the 50th film of Dwarakish Chitra and produced by Yogish. The film stars Nenapirali Prem, Prajwal Devaraj, Vijay Raghavendra, Diganth, Priyamani, Aindrita Ray, Deepa Sannidhi and Bhavana. Darshan has also acted in a guest role in the film.

Chowka is directed by Tharun Sudheer in his debut as director. He is giving final touches to the trailer. The first look and characters of the film were introduced earlier. The four main actors are from different decades whose stories meet in the end. The film is the biggest multistarrer in Kannada in decades.

Actor Darshan has been roped in to be a part of a special song for Nagarahavu which is all set to release on the 16th of this month. The special song is a tribute to Dr Vishnuvardhan.

The shooting for the song will be held on Friday and Saturday in Mysore. Bollywood choreographer Ganesh Acharya will be choreographing the song. The song is written by Kaviraj, while Gurukiran is the music director.

Actor Diganth is all set to make a comeback with a new film called 'Utsav'. The film is being produced by Harsha Khasnis and is directed by G N Rudresh who had earlier directed 'Hai'.

'Utsav' is the remake of Malayalm hit 'Charlie' which starred Dulqer Salman, Parvathy and others in prominent roles. While Diganth is reprising the role of Dulqer, Latha Hegade is seen in the role of Parvathy. Dattanna and others prominent roles in the film.

The shooting for the film will start from next month and the film will be shot in Chickamagalur, Mangalore, Bangalore and other places.

A publicity photo released by Yogaraj Movies shows actor Diganth, in what appears to be, completely nude. The actor is running on a road and his private parts are blacked out. This is the first look of the film Parapancha directed by Krish Joshi and under the Yograj Bhat banner.

This is not the first time Diganth has found himself in such a photograph. In Dev S/o Mudde Gowda, the film's title covered his private parts while his pants were shown down. This had created huge controversy and had to be later withdrawn. But the photo from Parapancha goes a step further and looks like a fully nude scene by an actor in Kannada for the first time.

Actor Diganth is slowly recuperating from the eye surgery that he has undergone recently. After complete recovery, Diganth is all set to act in a new film which is tentatively titled as 'Ella Ok Maduve Yaake'.

'Ella Ok Maduve Yaake' is being produced by Soundarya Jagadish under his banner. The film is being directed by Prathap who earlier directed 'Ram-Leela' for Soundarya Jagadish. As of now the cast and crew of the film is being finalised and the film is likely to be launched in the month of August.

Actor Diganth who was questioned by the CCB regarding the Kannada film industry's link with the ongoing drugs scandal probe, is all set to resume shooting from today.

Diganth was shooting for a film called 'Marigold' before lockdown. However, the shooting was stopped due to lockdown and now that things are slowly easing down, the actor had allotted dates for the film from the 18th of September. According to that, the actor will be resuming the shooting from today. 

Diganth has already clarified that he is ready to cooperate in the ongoing probe and will appear before the CCB when required. Diganth is expected to continue with the shooting and will be appearing before the CCB, if given summons again.

'Marigold' is being written and directed by debutante Raghavendra Nayak and produced by Raghuvardhan. The film stars Diganth, Sangeetha Sringeri and others in prominent roles. Veer Samarth is the music composer, while K S Chandrashekhar is the cinematographer.

Diganth starrer 'Katheyondu Shuruvagide' which is  produced by Pushkar and Rakshith Shetty jointly is all set to release on the 20th of July.

'Katheryondu Shuruvagide' is a travel story featuring three generations prominently. The film revolves around three couples of different age group and background. The film has been shot in Bangalore, Mangalore, Pondicherry and other places.

'Katheyondu Shuruvagide' stars Diganth, Pooja Deveriya, Babu Hirannaiah, Aruna Balaji, Ashwin, Shreya and others in prominent roles. The film is being scripted and directed by Senna Hegde.

Sandalwood actor Diganth is making his debut in Hindi this week. His first Hindi film Wedding Pullav is releasing this week. The film is directed by Binod Pradhan and also stars Anushka Ranjan, Karan Grover and Rishi Kapoor.

Diganth was billed to make his Bollywood debut a long time ago. It is finally happening this week.

For the last one year none of Diganth's Kannada films got released except the Hindi film 'Bollywood Pulav'. Now three of Diganth's films are getting for released in the next one month.

The first among the three is 'Minchagi Neenu Baralu' starring Diganth and Kruiti Kharabanda in lead roles. The film will be releasing on the 04th of December. The second film will be 'Sharp Shooter' which is scheduled for a 11th December release. After that Diganth starrer 'Parpancha' will be releasing in the third or fourth week of December.

With three films lining up for release, which among the three will hits the bulls eye is yet to be seen.

Recently there was a news that three music directors will be composing music for Vinod Prabhakar starrer 'Tyson'. Now in a new film titled 'Hit Wicket', five music directors are composing the music and the film is none other than Diganth starrer 'Hit Wicket'.

After 'Sharp Shooter' and 'Parpancha', Diganth has given a nod to act in 'Hit Wicket' and the film is being scripted and directed by Sandeep Gowda who had directed a film called 'Bisile'. Apoorva Rai who was last seen in 'Raincoat' is the heroine of the film, while Ananthnag plays a prominent role in the film.

The music for the film is being composed by Mithun, Gagan, Vivek, Abhiman and Juda. Each music director is in charge of one song. The film is going to floors shortly.

Sources say that actor Diganth who had sustained an injury in one of his eyes recently may lose his sight in that eye. He may have lost sight in his right eye. He had sustained an injury on his right eye three months ago while shooting for the Hindi film Ticket To Bollywood in a foreign location.

The scene involved a knife being thrown at Diganth. Unfortunately, the knife thrown by the heroine hit him in the eye. He was treated in the foreign country for one month. Now he is undergoing surgery at a Bengaluru hospital. But sources say there is little chance of him regaining sight in the right eye.

Though Diganth-Ramya starrer Nagarahavu is in news for sometime, the film crew had not divulged any details about Diganth or Ramya or how they look in the film. Now the makers have released the first look of Ramya and this is how she looks in the film.

Ramya plays a snake woman in this film and earlier the film was supposed to be titled as 'Nagakanye'. However, the film has been titled as 'Nagarahavu'. The trailer of the film is all set to be released on Monday night.

Jayantilal Gada of Pen Movies is presenting 'Nagarahavu', while his son Dhaval Jayantilal Gada along with Sohail Ansari has produced the film. Though the film has been directed by well known Telugu director Kodi Ramakrishna, the film is exclusively been made only in Kannada

'Nagarahavu' producer Sajid Qureshi has said that he has paid Diganth's remuneration fully and in spite of that he doesn't know why Diganth kept away from the film.

Speaking during the success meet of the film, Sajid Qureshi says he doesn't know what's Diganth problem is and doesn't want to talk much about the issue.

`I don't know what's his problem is. I have paid him his dues. We called him to promotions from the first days. We invited him on various occasions, but he didn't respond properly. I don't know why he kept away. I don't have any issues with him and we are happy for him' said Sajid Qureshi.

Aindrita Ray is miffed. While it is Yash and Radhika Pandit who are getting engaged tomorrow, some fake news circulating says it is Aindrita Ray is who getting engaged tomorrow.

Andy cleared the air saying "If I were to get engaged I would happily come out in the open n announce!! Have I ever minced my words??? I always speak my mind!" So fans please don't spread rumours. Andy will definitely keep her fans informed when she really does get engaged.

Diganth has given his best ever performance in Katheyondu Shuruvaagide. It is very unlike any of the films he has ever acted in. It is not the kind of film you generally associate with him. It is not also the kind of film you get in Sandalwood regularly. It is surprising how director Senna Hegde has managed to tell so much about life by confining his story to a single location. It is a miracle of story telling. 

Diganth plays the owner of a resort which is not doing good business. In fact there are hardly any guests he has a tough time financially. The leading lady played by Pooja is one of the guests in the resort. She too has her own background story. But the film is only about the present. The few days she stays in the resort and what happens between the various characters. There are six main characters and the bond and conflict between them makes for an engrossing film. 

There are no special effects, drama or emotional overdose in the film. Everything is normal and what you would see in normal human beings not in film characters. The film slowly unravels the characters and the unfolding story happens like in normal life. 

Among the performances, the director has allowed the actors to evolve their own style which is stunningly natural. The performance of Diganth in the climax is so good. You have already forgotten that he is an actor and is a real resort owner somewhere far away whom you are watching out through the film screen. 

It is one of the best directorial debuts. Though Senna Hegde has made one more film earlier, this is a full-length feature for him and he is one big find for Sandalwood. He shows maturity of thought and reason. Sandalwood fans will look forward to many more good films from him.

Superb music, brilliant camerawork and perfect editing has made Katheyondu Shuruvaagide one of the best films of the year. Do not miss it. It is a fresh commercial wave in Kannada.
