2022ರಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಜಿಎಫ್ 2 ಚಿತ್ರವನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಿದ್ದು ಹೊಂಬಾಳೆಯೇ ಆದರೂ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಅದನ್ನು ವಿತರಣೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದು ಕೆಆರ್ಜಿ ಸ್ಟುಡಿಯೋಸ್. ಕಾರ್ತಿಕ್ ಗೌಡ ಅವರ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ. ಡಾರ್ಲಿಂಗ್ ಕೃಷ್ಣ ಅಭಿನಯದ ಲವ್ ಮಾಕ್ಟೇಲ್ 2, ಕೆಜಿಎಫ್ ಚಾಪ್ಟರ್ 2, ರಕ್ಷಿತ್ ಬ್ಯಾನರ್ನ ಸಕುಟುಂಬ ಸಮೇತ, 777 ಚಾರ್ಲಿ, ಕಾಂತಾರ ಮತ್ತೀಗ ಪುನೀತ್ ರಾಜಕುಮಾರ್ ಅವರ ಗಂಧದ ಗುಡಿ ಚಿತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ವಿತರಣೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದು ಕೂಡಾ ಕೆಆರ್ಜಿ ಸ್ಟುಡಿಯೋಸ್.

ಇವುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಗಂಧದ ಗುಡಿ ಇದೀಗ ತಾನೇ ರಿಲೀಸ್ ಆಗಿದೆ. ಕೆಜಿಎಫ್ ಚಾಪ್ಟರ್ 2 ಬಾಕ್ಸಾಫೀಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊಸ ಇತಿಹಾಸವನ್ನೇ ಬರೆದಿದೆ. ಕಾಂತಾರ 200 ಕೋಟಿ ಕ್ಲಬ್ ಸೇರಿದೆ. 777 ಚಾರ್ಲಿ ಕೂಡಾ 100 ಕೋಟಿಗೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಗಳಿಸಿದ ಸಿನಿಮಾ. ಒಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ವರ್ಷವೂ ಕೆಆರ್ಜಿ ಸ್ಟುಡಿಯೋಸ್ ಸೂಪರ್ ಸಕ್ಸಸ್.

ದಾಖಲೆಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲ ಪುಡಿಗಟ್ಟಿ ಮುನ್ನುಗ್ಗುತ್ತಿರೋ ಕೆಜಿಎಫ್ ಚಾಪ್ಟರ್ 2 ಈಗ 600 ಕೋಟಿ ಕ್ಲಬ್ ಸೇರಿದೆ. ಈ ಲಿಸ್ಟಿಗೆ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ವೇಗವಾಗಿ ಸೇರಿದ ಸಿನಿಮಾ ಎಂಬ ದಾಖಲೆ ಈಗ ಕೆಜಿಎಫ್‍ನದ್ದು. ಆ ದಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಜಿಎಫ್, ಅಮೀರ್ ಖಾನ್‍ರ ದಂಗಲ್ ಚಿತ್ರದ ವೇಗದ ಗಳಿಕೆಯ ದಾಖಲೆಯನ್ನು ಮೀರಿಸಿದೆ. ದಂಗಲ್ ಆಗ ಒಂದು ವಾರದಲ್ಲಿ 197 ಕೋಟಿ ಕಲೆಕ್ಷನ್ ಮಾಡಿತ್ತು.

ಕನ್ನಡದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಬಾಕ್ಸಾಫೀಸ್ ಗಳಿಕೆ 100 ಕೋಟಿ ದಾಟಿದ್ದು, ಹಿಂದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ 200 ಕೋಟಿ ದಾಟಿದೆ. ತಮಿಳುನಾಡು ಮತ್ತು ಕೇರಳದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಲಾಭದಲ್ಲಿರೋ ಕೆಜಿಎಫ್ ಹೊಸ ಇತಿಹಾಸವನ್ನೇ ಬರೆಯುತ್ತಿದೆ. 600 ಕೋಟಿ ದಾಟಿರೋ ಕೆಜಿಎಫ್ ಗಳಿಕೆ 1000 ಕೋಟಿ ಮುಟ್ಟುವ ಎಲ್ಲ ಸಾಧ್ಯತೆಗಳೂ ಇವೆ.

The shooting for Yash starrer 'KGF' is in full progress and the first look of the film is all set to be released today evening at 6 PM through social media.

'KGF' is written and directed by Prashanth Neel who had earlier directed Murali starrer 'Ugram'. This is his second film as a director and the film is produced by Vijaykumar Kiragandur, who had earlier produced 'Rajakumara', 'Ninnindale' and 'Master Piece'. The film has music by Ravi Basrur and camerawork is by Bhuvan Gowda.

Vijaykumar Kiragandur of Hombale Films had earlier said that he will be collaborating with Puneeth Rajakumar yet again after 'Yuvaratna' and Santhosh Anandaram will be directing the film. 

Likewise, Hombale Films has announced a new project with Puneeth Rajakumar on the auspicious day of Ugadi. However, instead of Santhosh, Pavan Kumar of 'Lucia' fame will be directing the project.

The project has just been announced and more details are yet awaited. The team plans to shoot the film from July, once Puneeth completes his prior commitments.

Trailers of two upcoming Kannada films; Guru Sishyaru and Kantara was released today. Guru Sishyaru is made under Laddu productions of actor Sharan and Tharun Sudheer. It is directed by Jadesh Kumar who made a mark with Gentleman. The film is about a PT master who trains a group of youngsters to play kho-kho. The film is releasing on September 23.

Another trailer that released today was of Hombale Films’ Kantara. The Rishab Shetty film also stars Kishore, Achyuth Kumar among others. Set in the coastal districts where Kambala is a popular sport, it is the first film set in the backdrop of this traditional sport. Kantara is releasing on September 30. 

Both the films are much awaited for various reasons. Kantara is from Hombale Films who made the worldwide blockbuster KGF2 recently. Though Kantara is releasing only in Kannada, its business may be expanded into other languages after the response it generates in Karnataka. The Kannada version will be released in a big way in other states also. 

Rishab Shetty’s Kantara and Yash’s KGF Chapter 2, won four and three awards respectively at the 4th Chandanavana Film Critics Academy Awards on Sunday evening. Rishab Shetty who starred in directed Kantara, won the Best Actor award for the film while the film itself was adjudged the Best Film of 2022 by movie critics. Kanatara also won the Best Music award for Ajaneesh Loknath and Best Stunt/Action award for Vikram Mor.

The gala event at Hotel Lalit Ashok was inaugurated by senior directors Rajendra Singh Babu, Nagatihalli Chandrashekar, actress Ramya and Ashwini Puneeth Rajkumar. The star-studded event witnessed the presence of Sandalwood’s who-is- who. Top producers, directors, technicians of the Kannada film industry were witness to the year’s first awards event. Alliance University, Turbo Steel, Anand Audio, A2 Music, Mysore Sandal Soap, Suraj Productions, Horse Fashions, GAcademy and Veeraloka Books were among the supporters of the Awards Night.

KGF Chapter 2, starring Yash and directed by Prashant Neel won three awards; Best Cinematography for Bhuvan Gowda, Best Editing for Ujwal Kulkarni and Best VFX for Udaya Ravi Hegde. While these two films bagged the maximum number of awards, the other top awards had winners from other films. The Best Director award went to Kiranraj K for 777 Charlier while actor-director Darling Krishna won the Best Screenplay Award for Love Mocktail 2.

The Best Lead Actress award was won by Sharmiela Mandre for Gaalipata 2 while Sharvari won the Best Child Artist award making it two for 777 Charlie. Veteran actress Sudharani bagged the Best Supporting Actress award for Thurthu Nirgamana while Suchendra Prasad won the Best Supporting Actor award for Wheelchair Romeo. In the music category, it was a mixed bag with five different films winning the five awards. The technical awards were swept by KGF Chapter 2.

Seven new awards were introduced this year. Five of these were for debutants. Among these, Sridhar Shikaripura won the Best Writer (Debut) and Best Director  (Debut) Award for Dharani Mandala Madhyadolage. The Best Producer (Debut) award named after Puneeth Rajkumar went to Pawan Wadeyar for Dollu. The Best Debut Actor award named after Sanchari Vijay went to Pruthvi Shamanoor for Padavipoorva while the Best Debut Actress award named after the first Kannada film heroine Tripuramba went to Yasha Shivakumar for Mansoon Raaga.

Going beyond films, the Chandanavana Academy constituted two new awards for online content creators. KS Parameshwara who runs the Kala Madhyama Youtube channel won the Best Youtube Creator of the Year award while Vikas (of Vicky Pedia fame) was adjudged the Best Social Media Entertainer of the Year. Presidents of the various film industry bodies including Karnataka Media Academy president K Sadashiva Shenoy, Karnataka Chalanachitra Academy president Ashok Cashyap, Ba Ma Harish and Kannada Film Producers Association president Umesh Banakar were present at the event.

Lending support to the film journalists were other journalists’ bodies. Press Club of Bengaluru president Sridhar, Karnataka Photojournalists Association president Mohan graced the occasion and handed over awards to the winners. Over 50 film journalists and critics voted to select the 27 awards from around 235 Kannada films released this year. For the last four years, Chandanavana Film Critics Academy Awards has become the year’s first awards in Sandalwood.

The post-production of 'KGF - Chapter 2' is in full progress . Meanwhile, the team has announced that it will be releasing something related to the film on the 29th of July at 10 AM.

July 29th marks the birthday of veteran Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt, who has played a key role in 'KGF 2'. Last year a poster was released on the birthday of Sanjay Dutt. This time, though the team has not announced whether it will be releasing a poster or a teaser of Sanjay Dutt, the team has decided to celebrate Dutt's birthday in a grand style. 

The twitter handle of Hombale Films has released a poster with a caption called 'Unveiling The Brutality' On July 29th at 10 AM. So, what is the team planning this time, is yet to be seen.

The title launch of Puneeth Rajkumar's 29th film is scheduled for November 1. The film marks the coming together of the hit combination of Puneeth, director Santhosh Anandram and producer Vijay Kiragandur.

The three were part of the all time industry hit Raajakumaara. While the producer has gone on to make KGF and Puneeth other films after that, director Santhosh Anandram has been working on the reunion film ever since.

This will be Anandram's third film as director, Hombale Films Vijay Kiragandur's fifth and Puneeth Rajkumar's 29th. It has been announced that a fan will release the title. Who the fan it is has not been revealed.

Puneeth Rajkumar, director Santhosh Anandram and production company Hombale Films who created history with Raajakumara in 2017 are coming together for a new film in 2018. The successful combination have concluded talks about the new film which is set to start in the new year. Other details are not fixed but the combination alone is enough to create great hopes about the new film. More details about the film are expected to be announced in the coming days.

This will be Hombale Films' third film with Puneeth and second one for Santhosh Anandram. Hombale are currently producing Yash's KGF. Commencement date for the new film is not yet finalised.

ಒಂದು ಮೂಲದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ RRR ಚಿತ್ರವನ್ನು ಹೊಂಬಾಳೆ ಫಿಲಂಸ್ 60 ಕೋಟಿಗೆ ಖರೀದಿಸಿದ್ದು, ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿತರಣೆ ಮಾಡಲಿದೆ. ಕೆಜಿಎಫ್ ಚಿತ್ರದ ಪ್ರಮೋಷನ್ನಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ವತಃ ರಾಜಮೌಳಿ ಕಾಣಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದರು. ರಾಜಮೌಳಿಯವರ ಬಾಹುಬಲಿ ನಿರ್ಮಾಪಕರೇ ಆಗ ಕೆಜಿಎಫ್ ಚಾಪ್ಟರ್1ನ್ನು ಆಂಧ್ರ, ತೆಲಂಗಾಣದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿತರಣೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದರು. ಈಗ ವಿಜಯ್ ಕಿರಗಂದೂರು ಕನ್ನಡದಲ್ಲಿ RRR  ಹೊತ್ತು ತರುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅಂದಹಾಗೆ RRR ಕನ್ನಡದಲ್ಲೂ ಡಬ್ ಆಗಿ ಏಕಕಾಲಕ್ಕೆ ರಿಲೀಸ್ ಆಗುತ್ತಿದೆ.

Director Santhosh Anandaram is looking forward for the 100 days function of 'Rajakumara' on Friday. Meanwhile, it has been confirmed that he will be doing another film for Hombale Films.

'Rajakumara' Executive Producer Karthik Gowda himself has confirmed that Hombale Films will be producing another film in the direction of Santhosh Anandaram and the next film will be announced in the month of August.

Earlier, there was a news that Santhosh might direct Shivarajakumar in a new film called 'Ranaranga'. Will Santhosh direct Shivarajakumar for Hombale Films is yet to be seen.

ಸಿನಿಮಾದಲ್ಲಿನ ವರಾಹ ರೂಪಂ ಹಾಡನ್ನು ಥಿಯೇಟರ್ ಮತ್ತು ಒಟಿಟಿ ಆವೃತ್ತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬದಲಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಆದರೆ ಇದು ಚಿತ್ರದ ಕಲೆಕ್ಷನ್ ಮತ್ತು ಕ್ರೇಜ್ ಮೇಲೆ ಯಾವ ಪರಿಣಾಮವನ್ನೂ ಬೀರಿಲ್ಲ. ಜನ ಬೇಸರಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದರೂ ಕಾಂತಾರವನ್ನು ನೋಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ವಿಜಯ್ ಕಿರಗಂದೂರು ಅವರ ಹೊಂಬಾಳೆ ಫಿಲಂಸ್ ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಿರುವ ಈ ಚಿತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಪ್ತಮಿ ಗೌಡ ನಾಯಕಿಯಾಗಿ ನಟಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಮತ್ತು ಕಿಶೋರ್, ಅಚ್ಯುತ್ ಕುಮಾರ್, ಪ್ರಮೋದ್ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ, ಪ್ರಸಾದ್ ತೂಮಿನಾಡ್, ಸ್ವರಾಜ್ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ ಮತ್ತು ಮಾನಸಿ ಸುಧೀರ್ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಪಾತ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಟಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ರಿಷಬ್ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ ನಟಿಸಿ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಿರುವ ಕಾಂತಾರ ತುಳು ನಾಡಿನದ್ದೇ ಕಥೆ. ಈಗ ತುಳುವಿನಲ್ಲೇ ಬರುತ್ತಿದೆ.

ಈ ಸಿನಿಮಾದ ಟೈಟಲ್ ಜ್ವಾಲಾಮುಖಿ, ದೇವತಾ ಮನುಷ್ಯ, ಪರಶುರಾಮ್, ಕ್ರಾಂತಿವೀರ ಎಂಬೆಲ್ಲ ಸುದ್ದಿಗಳು ಗಾಂಧಿನಗರದ ತುಂಬೆಲ್ಲ ಹರಿದಾಡಿದ್ದವು. ಆ ಎಲ್ಲವನ್ನೂ ಮೀರಿ ಹೊಸದೇ ಟೈಟಲ್ ಇಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಸಂತೋಷ್ ಆನಂದ್‍ರಾಮ್. ಡಾ.ರಾಜ್‍ಕುಮಾರ್ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರತ್ನ ಪುರಸ್ಕಾರ ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಿದ್ದ ಹೆಮ್ಮೆಯ ಕಲಾವಿದ. ಅವರ ಪುತ್ರ ಪುನೀತ್, ಈಗ ಯುವರತ್ನರಾಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಅಪ್ಪು ಅಭಿಮಾನಿಗಳಾದ ವಿನುತಾ ಮತ್ತು ಮಹೇಶ್ ಎಂಬ ಇಬ್ಬರು ವಿಕಲಚೇತನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಂದ ಸಿನಿಮಾದ ಟೈಟಲ್ ಲಾಂಚ್ ಆಯ್ತು. ಕಾವೇರಿ ಚಿತ್ರಮಂದಿರದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ನೂರಾರು ಅಭಿಮಾನಿಗಳು ಆಗಮಿಸಿ ಪುನೀತ್ ಹೊಸ ಚಿತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಶುಭ ಹಾರೈಸಿದರು. ಕನ್ನಡ ರಾಜ್ಯೋತ್ಸವ ಮತ್ತು ಯುವರತ್ನ ಟೈಟಲ್ ಲಾಂಚ್, ಎರಡನ್ನೂ ಒಟ್ಟಿಗೇ ಸಂಭ್ರಮದಿಂದ ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯ್ತು.

ಕಾಂತಾರದ ವಿಶ್ವರೂಪವನ್ನು ಜಗತ್ತಿಗೇ ಪರಿಚಯಿಸಿದ್ದು ಕಾಂತಾರದ ವರಾಹರೂಪಂ. ಆದರೆ ಸಿನಿಮಾ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆಯಾಗದ ಕೆಲವೇ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವರಾಹರೂಪಂ ಹಾಡು ವೊರಿಜಿನಲ್ ಅಲ್ಲ, ಕಾಪಿ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದು ಎಂಬ ಆರೋಪ ಕೇಳಿ ಬಂದಿತ್ತು. ಕೇರಳದ ತೈಕ್ಕುಡಂ ಬ್ರಿಡ್ಜ್ ತಂಡದವರು ಹಾಡಿನ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಕಾಪಿ ರೈಟ್ ಉಲ್ಲಂಘನೆ ಕೇಸು ಹಾಕಿದ್ದರು. ತೈಕ್ಕುಡಂ ತಂಡದ ನವರಸಂ ಮ್ಯೂಸಿಕ್ ಆಲ್ಬಂನ ಯಥಾವತ್ ಕಾಪಿ ಈ ಹಾಡು ಎಂದು ದೂರಿದ್ದರು.

ವರಾಹರೂಪಂ ಹಾಡು ನಮ್ಮದು. ನವರಸಂ ಮ್ಯೂಸಿಕ್‍ನ್ನು ಯಥಾವತ್ ಕಾಪಿ ಮಾಡಿ ವರಾಹರೂಪಂ ಹಾಡು ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ನಮಗಿನ್ನೇನೂ ಬೇಡ, ಕ್ರೆಡಿಟ್ ಕೊಡಿ ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿತ್ತು. ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕ ರಿಷಬ್ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ ಕೂಡಾ ಸಂಗೀತ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕ ಅಜನೀಶ್ ಲೋಕನಾಥ್ ಪರವಾಗಿಯೇ ನಿಂತಿದ್ದು ಕೋರ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಗೆಲ್ಲುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋರಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇದರ ಮಧ್ಯೆಯೇ ಹಾಡು ಡಿಲೀಟ್ ಆಗಿದೆ.

ಕೇರಳದ ಕೊಯಿಕ್ಕೋಡ್ ನ್ಯಾಯಾಲಯ ಹಾಡಿಗೆ ಸ್ಟೇ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿತ್ತು. ಈಗ ಆ ಹಾಡನ್ನು ಹೊಂಬಾಳೆ ಯೂಟ್ಯೂಬ್ ಚಾನೆಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಡಿಲೀಟ್ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದೆ.

ಕೋರ್ಟ್ ಅದೇಶ ನೀಡಿದ 2 ವಾರಗಳ ನಂತರ ಹಾಡನ್ನು ಡಿಲೀಟ್ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಈಗಲೂ ಈ ಕ್ಷಣಕ್ಕೂ ಹೊಂಬಾಳೆ ತಂಡ, ಸಂಗೀತ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕ ಅಜನೀಶ್ ಲೋಕನಾಥ್ ಹಾಡು ತಮ್ಮ ವೊರಿಜಿನಲ್ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಯೇ ಹೊರತು ಕದ್ದಿದ್ದಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ವಾದಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇದುವರೆಗೆ ಈ ಹಾಡನ್ನು ಮೂರೂವರೆ ಕೋಟಿಗೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಜನ ವೀಕ್ಷಿಸಿದ್ದರು.

ಎಂಥ ಹೇಳ್ತಿರೂದು.. ನಾವ್ 2022ರಾಗ್ ನೋಡಿದ್ ಕಾಂತಾರ ಅಲ್ವಾ.. ಫಸ್ಟ್ ಬರೋದು ಫಸ್ಟ್ ಅಲ್ವಾ.. ಈಗ ಅದು ಹೇಗೆ ಂಆಡ್ತಾರೆ ಕಾಂತಾರ 1 ಚಿತ್ರವನ್ನ.. ಹಾಗಂತ ತಲೆ ಕೆಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಡಿ. ಸುಮ್ನ ತಲೆ ಬೊಜ್ಜ ಆಗ್ತದ ಅಷ್ಟ.. ಕಾಂತಾರ ಚಿತ್ರದ ಇನ್ನೊಂದು ಪಾರ್ಟ್ ಬರೋದು ಪಕ್ಕಾ. ಆದರೆ ಅದು ಸೀಕ್ವೆಲ್ ಅಲ್ಲ, ಪ್ರೀಕ್ವೆಲ್. ಹೀಗಾಗಿ ನೀವು ನೋಡಿರೋದು ಕಾಂತಾರ 2. ಮುಂದೆ ಬರೋದು ಕಾಂತಾರ 1. ಇದನ್ನು ಖುದ್ದು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದು ಕಾಂತಾರ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಕರ್ತ, ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕ ಮತ್ತು ನಾಯಕ ರಿಷಬ್ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ.

ಕಾಂತಾರ ಚಿತ್ರ ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ಭಾರತದಾದ್ಯಂತ ದಾಖಲೆಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ದಾಖಲೆ ಬರೆದಿದೆ. ಆಸ್ಕರ್ ಅಂಗಳಕ್ಕೂ ಕಾಲಿಟ್ಟು ಬಂದಿದೆ. ಆಸ್ಕರ್ ಕಿರೀಟ ಸಿಕ್ಕದೇ ಹೋದರೂ .. ಜನಮನ್ನಣೆಗಂತೂ ಕಡಿಮೆ ಇಲ್ಲ. ಅತೀ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಪ್ರೇಕ್ಷಕರು ಚಿತ್ರಂದಿರದಲ್ಲಿ ನೋಡಿದ ಸಿನಿಮಾ ಕಾಂತಾರ ಎಂಬ ದಾಖಲೆಯೂ ಅವರದ್ದೇ. ಒಟಿಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ, ಟಿವಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ರೇಟಿಂಗ್ ದಾಖಲೆ ಬರೆದ ಕಾಂತಾರ ಚಿತ್ರದ ಇನ್ನೊಂದು ಭಾಗ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು ಎಂಬ ಡಿಮ್ಯಾಂಡ್ ಶುರುವಾಗಿದೆ. ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ಕಾಂತಾರ ಚಿತ್ರವನ್ನ ನೆಟ್`ಫ್ಲಿಕ್ಸ್‍ನವರು ಖರೀದಿ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದು, ಅವರು ಇಂಗ್ಲಿಷಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಂತಾರವನ್ನು ತರಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಕನ್ನಡ, ತೆಲುಗು, ತಮಿಳು, ಮಲಯಾಳಂ, ಹಿಂದಿ ಹಾಗೂ ತುಳುವಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಬಂದಿದ್ದ ಕಾಂತಾರ, ಇಂಗ್ಲಿಷಿನಲ್ಲೂ ರಿಲೀಸ್ ಆದರೆ 7 ಭಾಷೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ರಿಲೀಸ್ ಆದ ದಾಖಲೆ ಬರೆಯಲಿದೆ. ಚಿತ್ರ ಶತದಿನೋತ್ಸವ ಆಚರಿಸಿದ್ದ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಚಿತ್ರತಂಡ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಭಂಟರ ಭವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಶತದಿನೋತ್ಸವ ಸಮಾರಂಭ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಿತ್ತು.

ತುಳುನಾಡಿನ ಸಂಪ್ರದಾಯದಂತೆ ಅಲಂಕರಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದ ವೇದಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಚಿತ್ರತಂಡದ ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞರು, ಕಲಾವಿದರು, ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಕರು, ವಿತರಕರು ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ 500ಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಮಂದಿ ಸೇರಿದ್ದರು. ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ನೆನಪಿನ ಕಾಣಿಕೆ ನೀಡಿ, ಇಡೀ ಚಿತ್ರತಂಡ ಒಟ್ಟಿಗೇ ಊಟ ಮಾಡಿ ಕಾಂತಾರ ಶತದಿನೋತ್ಸವವನ್ನು ಹಬ್ಬದಂತೆ ಸಂಭ್ರಮಿಸಿತು.

ಈ ಚಿತ್ರದ ಯಶಸ್ಸಿಗೆ ನಾನೊಬ್ಬನೇ ಕಾರಣ ಅಲ್ಲ. ನಮ್ಮ ತಂಡ, ಕಲಾವಿದರು, ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞರು, ಪ್ರಚಾರಕರ್ತರು, ಅಭಿಮಾನಿಗಳು, ಮಾಧ್ಯಮಗಳು, ಪ್ರೇಕ್ಷಕರು.. ಹೀಗೆ ಹಲವರ ಪಾತ್ರವಿದೆ. ಕುಂದಾಪುರದ ಕೆರಾಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದ ಕಥೆಗೆ ಅಂತಾರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಮನ್ನಣೆ ಸಿಗಲು ಕಾರಣವಾಗಿದ್ದು ಹೊಂಬಾಳೆ. ನೀವು ಇದುವರೆಗೆ ನೋಡಿದ್ದು ಕಾಂತಾರ 2. ಇನ್ನು ಮುಂದೆ ಬರುವುದು ಕಾಂತಾರ 1 ಎಂದ ರಿಷಬ್ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ, ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ಕಾಂತಾರವನ್ನು ಅಧಿಕೃತವಾಗಿಯೇ ಘೋಷಿಸಿದರು.

ಕಾಂತಾರ 300 ಕೇಂದ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ 50 ದಿನ ಪೂರೈಸಿದ್ದರೆ, 250 ಚಿತ್ರಮಂದಿರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ 75 ದಿನ ಪೂರೈಸಿದೆ. 100 ದಿನ ಪೂರೈಸಿದ ಚಿತ್ರಮಂದಿರಗಳ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ 100ಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು.
