Ajay Rao and Amuyla starrer 'Krishna-Rukku' which is being produced by Uday Mehta and directed by Anil of 'Dilwala' fame was launched on Wednesday morning at the Siddi Vinayaka Temple in Sharada Colony in Basaveshwaranagar.

The film's launch was a low key affair with only the team members present at the muhurath. Ajay Rao, Amulya, director Anil, producer Uday Mehta were seen at the occasion.

Apart from Ajay and Amulya, Girija Lokesh, Shobharaj and others are playing prominent roles in the film. Sridhar V Sambhram is the music director of the film.

The hit pair of Ganesh and Amulya are back and continue their impressive form together at the box office. Last year the pair that made a sensation with Cheluvina Chittara a few years ago teamed up for Shravani Subramanya which was also a hit. The first film of 2015 also belongs to them and Kushi Kushiyagi which is a remake of a Telugu film is no exception. It has all the good elements of becoming a hit. The romantic story, good performances, eye-pleasing visuals make the film a must watch for youngsters.

The film has a complex story. Ganesh falls in love with a girl he only happens to have a glimpse of at a wedding. Mistaking another girl to be her, he begins an effort on phone wooing her. The other girl so happens to be waiting for such a person who would fall in love with her without knowing anything about her. But when Ganesh realises that the two girls are different, his troubles begin. Adding more intrigue to the plot is the fact that his best friend and the first girl are in love. The comedy turns to an attempted revenge and all hell breaks loose on the hero. How he manages to overcome all the odds and win the girl is the rest of the story.

Ganesh and Amulya give an amazing performance and they continue their good chemistry that has always worked before. The soothing music, the glamorous visuals and quick fire dialogues make the film an interesting watch. Though it is a bit long at two and a half hours, the episodes unfolding on the screen holds audience attention. The year has started perfectly for Sandalwood and this film has all the good elements to become a major draw for audience looking for some fun time at the theatre.

'Maduveya Mamateya Kareyole' being directed by lyricist turned director Kaviraj is likely to be released in the month of January. Kaviraj himself confirmed during the first press meet of the film, that the film is in the post-production stage and the film might get  released in the month of January.

Kaviraj terms the film as a romcom and a family entertainer. 'Normally sentiment and comedy are two different worlds and in this film I have tried to combine the two. The film has some nice elements and I can confidentally say that 75 percent of the scenes in the film are very new' said Kaviraj.

'Maduveya Mamateya Kareyole' stars Suraj Gowda, Amulya, Ananthnag, Shalini, Sundar and others in prominent roles and V Harikrishna has composed the music for the film being produced by Thoogudeepa Enterprises.

Lyricist Kaviraj's debut film as a director 'Maduveya Mamatheya Kareyole' is all set to be released on the 08th of January in Movieland and other theaters across Karnataka. Thoogudeepa Distrubutors is distrubutoodting the film.

'Maduveya Mamatheya Kareyole' stars Suraj Gowda and Amulya in lead roles. Ananthnag, Sundar, Shalini and others play prominent roles in the film. Kaviraj himself has written the story, screenplay and dialogues apart from directing the film.

The film has cinematography by K S Chandrashekhar.

For so many years now the Nataraja theater in Seshadripuram has become the hub of Tamil films in Bengaluru. The theatre always screened Tamil films and the main centre. Very rarely whenever there was Kaveri river dispute between Karnataka and Tamil Nadu, the theatre would screen Kannada films for a few days.

These would be some old film as a stop gap arrangement. If a new Kannada film was screened it was again during some trouble between the states. One example was the release of Danger Zone earlier this year when there were water diapute. But breaking all this conventions Duniya Vijay's new film Mastigudi is releasing in Nataraja theatre.

This in itself a surprising development. If the film does well here we can expect regular screening of Kannada films here.

The trailer of  Vijay starrer 'Mastigudi' was released on the occasion of Vijay's birthday. Now the songs of the film is all set to be released on the 24th of this month.

The shooting for 'Mastigudi' is complete and even the dubbing is concluded. Vasishta Simha and Madhu Guruswamy has dubbed for Anil and Uday respectively. With the post production almost complete the film is likely to be released in the month of March.

The trailer of  Vijay starrer 'Mastigudi' was released on Friday on the occasion of Vijay's birthday. 'Mastigudi' is almost complete except for some minor portions and the team is planning to complete the film soon and release it in a couple of months.

The film stars Vijay, Amulya, Kriti Kharabanda, Rangayana Raghu, Devaraj, Suhasini, B Jayasri and others in prominent roles. 'Mastigudi' is based on a real incident which occurred in Biligiri Rangana Thittu in the 90s. Based on the incident, Nagashekhar has written the story and screenplay of the film. Another highlight of the film is Vijay will be seen in four different get ups. Satya Hegade is the cameraman, while Sadhu Kokila is the music director.

The new film starring Ajay Rao which is being produced by Uday Mehta and directed by Anil of 'Dilwala' fame has been titled as 'Mava I Love You' with a caption of 'Krishna-Rukku Story'. Shooting will go on floor in August.

Earlier there were speculations about who would be the heroine of the film and sources say now Amulya has been finalised as the heroine of the film.

After the second schedule in Mysore, the team of 'Mugulunage' starring Ganesh and directed by Yogaraj Bhatt are currently in Pondicherry to shoot some major portions for the film. The shooting for he film is expected to conclude by February end.

The new film has four heroines and Amulya, 'Jackie' Bhavana, Nikitha Narayan and Ashitha have been roped into play the female leads of the film.The new film is jointly produced by Syed Salam.

Yogaraj Bhatt himself has written the story, screenplay and dialogues of the film. Sugnan is the cameraman, while V Harikrishna is the music director.

This week's first Kannada release Ram Leela is a fun film and full of entertainment. There is no doubt that this will be another hit film for Chiranjeevi Sarja and Amulya. The production house has got one more comedy film to its credit and Soundarya Jagadish has spared nothing in his efforts to make the film look as grand as possible. From the first scene to the last Ram Leela is a laugh riot and keeps audience entertained. Apart from the entertaining plot, the lavish songs which are shot in some exotic locations make the film a mass entertainer. 

The film starts with Ram (Chiru)  abducting a bride and getting her married to her lover. She is the sister of a big don and Ram also is in hiding in Bengaluru after that. Here he falls in love with a girl and as luck would have it she also turns out to be the sister of the don. Meanwhile the don is in a cat and mouse chase trying to catch Ram. How Ram uses his intelligence to save his life as well as marry the girl forms the rest of the story. Apart from the lead pair of Chiru and Amulya a host of good actors like Shobraj, Sadhu Kokila, Rangayana Raghu, Ravishankar and Chikkanna give the proceedings a great comic touch. 

Apart from a good plot what helps the film is a lavish production. The locations are not only new but stunning and has been captured beautifully. Therefore all the songs look very grand. There are no double meaning jokes and can be watched with the entire family. This is a perfect film to watch with family and friends and if you have not booked your tickets do it immediately.

Chiranjeevi Sarja and Amulya starter film has got a clean U certificate from the Censor Board on Thursday evening. The film will release on November 12.

Ramleela is produced by Soundarya Jagadish and directed by Vijay Kiran and this is Chiru's first film after the success of Aatagara. This is the first film in which Chiru and Amulya are playing the lead roles for the first time together.

Arjun Sarja released the fifth and final song of Ramleela starring Chiranjeevi Sarja and Amulya in Lead. This song was sung by Anup Rubens and lyric is written by Sudarshan.

The first song of the film sung by Puneeth was released by Dhruva Sarja and Second song was released by Upendra and Sanjjana. Third song was released by Shivarajkumar on Chiru birthday and fourth by Ganesh. he trailer of the film was launched by Darshna before the song were released.

Ramleela is produced by Soundarya Jagadeesh and directed by Vijay Kiran. Movie will get released in November.

Chiranjeevi Sarja and Amulya starrer Ram-Leela that released last week has seen a good collection at the box office despite the incessant rain in Bengaluru and other parts of the city over the last few days. Producer Soundarya Jagadish is evidently happy at the outcome and says the box office collections are better than he had expected so far.

"We released the film in 162 theatres. We were afraid that because of the cyclonic rains the collections would be affected. But it has been better than expected and in the second week, all the 162 theatres Ram-Leela was released in will continue with the film. We are adding a few more theatres. That is a very good sign and we actually expect the collections to improve in the second week," he said.

Despite many more films releasing this week including Boxer and Bengaluru-23 this week, Ram-Leela retaining so many theatres in the second week means it is on a very strong wicket. The good response from both critics and the audience has helped the film with word-of-mouth publicity getting it more audience.

Even while the countdown to the release of his new film Aatagara starts, Chiranjeevi Sarja has completed shooting for another film Ramleela. Aatagara releases in the next couple of weeks and Ramleela's shooting was wrapped up two days ago. The film is a remake of Telugu film Loukyam and Chiru and Amulya are paired together for the first time.

The film is produced by Soundarya Jagadeesh and directed by Vijay Kiran. The shooting for the film has been completed in quick time. Shooting started in April and has been completed in less than three months. Chiru says that the shooting was swift because the planning and preparations were detailed and nothing was left to chance. He participated in shooting for nearly 60 days and found it was one of the best organised shooting experiences. 

The second schedule of Ajay Rao and Amuyla starrer 'Krishna-Rukku' which is being produced by Uday Mehta and directed by Anil of 'Dilwala' fame has been completed. Earlier, the film was launched in August and the first schedule of the film was completed in Chickmagalur and other places. After that the team started the second schedule in and around Bangalore and has completed the second schedule successfully.

Apart from Ajay and Amulya, Girija Lokesh, Shobharaj and others are playing prominent roles in the film. Sridhar V Sambhram is the music director of the film.

Like last week, this Friday (February 26th) will also be witnessing a release of total of six films. Last week Dayal's 'Actor', Sumanth Shailendra's 'Bhale Jodi', Rakshath's 'Nan Love Track', Thriller Puneeth's 'Raj Bahadur', Arjun Kapikad's 'Madhura Swapna' and Nag directed 'U/A The End' was released.

This week A M R Ramesh's 'Game', Ajay Rao's 'Krishna Rukku', 'Preethi Kitabu', 'Whatsapp Love', 'Mareyalaare' and '400' are schedulued for a release.

Of the six films which films will be appreciated by the audience is yet to be seen.

Soundarya Jagadish is back to producing films once again. Jagadish who had earlier produced films like 'Mast Maja Maadi', 'Appu Pappu' and 'Snehitaru' is all set to produce yet another film starring Chiranjeevi Sarja and Amulya in lead roles.

This time Soundarya Jagadish is producing a remake film and the film which has been titled as 'Ram Leela' is a remake of Telugu hit 'Loukyam' starring Gopichand and Rakul Preeth Singh in main roles. Chiranjeevi and Amulya will be replacing them in the Kannada version.

The film is being directed by Vijaykiran. Bharani K Dharan will be the cinematographer. Anoop Rubens who composed music for the original will be in charge of music here also.

The film is likely to be launched soon.

If sources are to be believed, then Ajay's new film being produced by Uday Mehta has not been titled yet and the film is likely to be launched in the month of August.

The film was announced last week and though there was news that Uday Mehta is producing a film for Ajay, not much details had been divulged. There is news that Amulya, Radhika Pandit or a new heroine will be playing the female lead opposite Ajay in the film..

Apart from Ajay, Anil and Sridhar Sambhram have been roped in for the film. Anil who lastly directed 'Dilwala' starring Sumanth and Radhika Pandith will be directing the film apart from scripting it. Sridhar V Sambhram is the music director of the film.
