Gurunandan's new film 'Missing Boy' has been censored with 'U' certificate and the makers have decided to announce the release date of the film on 21st of February.

The shooting for D P Raghuram's 'Missing Boy' was completed long back. However, the film got delayed for various reasons and now the film is finally ready to hit the screens.

The film which is produced by Kolla Praveen under Kolla Films banner is based on a true incident. Director Raghu Ram who was missing in action for a while returns with a realistic subject - 'Missing Boy’, which is all set for a grand release on March 22. After announcing the release of the movie in a unique manner through video message involving Kannada movie lovers, the trailer of it will be released by none other than Abhinaya Chakravarthy Kichcha Sudeepa on Thursday.

Missing Boy features Gurunandan of First Rank Raju fame along with Archana Radha Krishnan and Ravi Shankar Gowda. Composer V Harikrishna has scored the music for this missing boy. Previously Kichcha had made a special appearance in Raju Kannada Medium which starred Gurunandan in the lead.

The filmmaker has ruled out that Missing Boy is the remake of Hollywood movie 'Lion’, and has revealed that the first 20 minutes of the movie will be in English language as it is set in Europe. It is about a Kannada couple settled abroad who goes in search of their missing adopted boy. Apart from the drama, it focuses on a relevant subject which is close to reality, the team wraps up.

Model turned actress Archana Jayakrishnan has been selected as the heroine for Gurunandan in a new film called 'Missing Boy' being directed by D P Raghuram. 'Missing Boy' is based on a true incident.

Archana Jayakrishnan is a Kerala based model and actress and is making her debut for the first time in Kannada through 'Missing Boy.' Apart from Gurunandan and Archana, Ravishankar Gowda plays a prominent role in the film.

The trailer of Gurunandan's new film 'Missing Boy' was released by Sudeep recently. The trailer is getting appreciation not only from celebrities here, but also from actors from other film industry.

Telugu actors Nani and Samantha who have very much liked the trailer of the film has shared the trailer in their twitter accounts. Both the actors have wished the team of 'Missing Boy' a huge success.

Except for the title and the news that the film is based on a true incident Raghuram has not divulged any news about his forthcoming film. Raghuram has posted a poster which has a boy lost in a crowded place.

ಚಿತ್ರದ ಟ್ರೇಲರ್‍ಗೆ ಧ್ವನಿ ನೀಡಿರುವುದು ಶಿವರಾಜ್‍ಕುಮಾರ್. ಟ್ರೇಲರ್ ರಿಲೀಸ್ ಮಾಡಿರುವುದು ಕಿಚ್ಚ ಸುದೀಪ್.

ಕಿಚ್ಚ ಸುದೀಪ್ ಅವರನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದವರು ಇವರಿಗೇನ್ ಕಷ್ಟ ಇದೆ ಬಿಡಿ.. ಆರಾಮ್ ಇದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದುಕೊಂಡರೆ ಅದು ಸಹಜ. ತಮ್ಮ ವೈಯಕ್ತಿಕ ಭಾವನೆ, ಕಷ್ಟಸುಖಗಳನ್ನು ಕಣ್ಣ ಕೊನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಣದಂತೆ ನೋಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಸುದೀಪ್, ಪರ್ಸನಲ್ ವಿಚಾರಗಳನ್ನ ಹೇಳಿಕೊಳ್ಳೋದು ಕಡಿಮೆ. ಆದರೆ ಈ ಬಾರಿ ಅವರು ತಾವು ಅನುಭವಿಸಿದ ಕಷ್ಟದ ದಿನಗಳನ್ನು ನೆನಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಅಂದು ಮೈ ಆಟೋಗ್ರಾಫ್ ಚಿತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಕೈ ಹಾಕಿ, ಹಣವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಪರದಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದೆ. ಆಗೆಲ್ಲ ಟಿವಿ ರೈಟ್ಸ್ 25ರಿಂದ 30 ಲಕ್ಷಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋದರೆ ಅದೇ ಹೆಚ್ಚು. ಆ ವೇಳೆ ಖಾಸಗಿ ವಾಹಿನಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ರಘುರಾಮ್, ನನ್ನ ಆ ಚಿತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ 1 ಕೋಟಿ ಕೊಡಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಅದು ನನಗೆ ಬಹಳ ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡಿತ್ತು ಎಂದು ನೆನಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಸುದೀಪ್.

ಸುದೀಪ್ ಹೇಳಿದ ರಘುರಾಮ್ ಬೇರಾರೋ ಅಲ್ಲ, ಮಿಸ್ಸಿಂಗ್ ಬಾಯ್ ಚಿತ್ರದ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕ. ಹೀಗಾಗಿಯೇ.. ಅಂದು ನೆರವು ನೀಡಿದ್ದ ರಘುರಾಮ್ ಚಿತ್ರವನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಯಿಂದ ಪ್ರಚಾರ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಸುದೀಪ್

ಫಸ್ಟ್ ರ್ಯಾಂಕ್ ರಾಜು ಗುರುನಂದನ್ ಅಭಿನಯದ ಮಿಸ್ಸಿಂಗ್ ಬಾಯ್ ಸಿನಿಮಾ, ಚಿಕ್ಕಂದಿನಲ್ಲೇ ತಂದೆ ತಾಯಿಯನ್ನು ಕಳೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಎಲ್ಲೋ ಬೆಳೆದು ದೊಡ್ಡವರಾದವರು.. ಹೆತ್ತವರನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕಿಕೊಂಡು ಬರುವ ಕಥೆ ಹೊಂದಿದೆ. ರಘುರಾಮ್ ನಿರ್ದೇಶನದ ಸಿನಿಮಾ ಮುಂದಿನ ವಾರ ತೆರೆಗೆ ಬರುತ್ತಿದೆ.

ಯಾವುದೋ ಕಾರಣಕ್ಕಾಗಿ, ತಾಯಿಯನ್ನು ಕಳೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳೋ ಮಕ್ಕಳು. 30 ವರ್ಷ ಕಳೆದ ಮೇಲೆ ತಾಯಿಯನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕಿಕೊಂಡು ಬರುವ ಮಗ. ಇದು ಹುಬ್ಬಳ್ಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದಿದ್ದ ರಿಯಲ್ ಸ್ಟೋರಿ. ಅಂಥಾದ್ದೊಂದು ಪ್ರಕರಣವನ್ನು ಕೇವಲ ಮಾನವೀಯತೆ ಮೇಲೆ ಹುಡುಕಿಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಯ ಹೆಸರು ಲವಕುಮಾರ್. ಅದೇ ರಿಯಲ್ ಕಥೆಯನ್ನು ಮಿಸ್ಸಿಂಗ್ ಬಾಯ್ ಎಂದು ಸಿನಿಮಾ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ ನಿದೇಶಕ ರಘುರಾಮ್.

ಗುರುನಂದನ್ ತಾಯಿಯನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕುವ ಮಗನಾಗಿ ನಟಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ರಿಯಲ್ ಕಥೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೇಗೆ.. ಕಥೆಯ ಜಾಡು ಸಾಗುತ್ತದೋ.. ಅದೇ ಜಾಡಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಚಿತ್ರಕಥೆ ಕಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ ರಘುರಾಮ್. ಎಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಇದು ವಾಸ್ತವಕ್ಕೆ ದೂರ ಎನಿಇಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಭರವಸೆ ಕೊಡ್ತಾರೆ ರಘುರಾಮ್

ಜೋಗಿ ಚಿತ್ರದ ಸೂಪರ್ ಹಿಟ್ ಹಾಡು ಬೇಡುವೆನು ವರವನ್ನು ಕೊಡು ತಾಯಿ ಜನ್ಮವನು ಕಡೆತನಕ ಮರೆಯಲ್ಲ ಜೋಗಿ.. ಆ ಹಾಡು ಹಿಟ್ ಅಷ್ಟೇ ಅಲ್ಲ, ನೋಡುಗರ ಕಣ್ಣಾಲಿಗಳನ್ನು ಒದ್ದೆ ಮಾಡುವ ಶಕ್ತಿ ಆ ಹಾಡು ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯಕ್ಕಿದೆ. ಹಾಡಿನ ಆ ತುಣುಕನ್ನು ಮಿಸ್ಸಿಂಗ್ ಬಾಯ್ ಚಿತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಳಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗಿದೆ. ತಂದೆ-ತಾಯಿಯಿದ್ದರೂ ಅನಾಥನಾಗುವ ಹುಡುಗ, ದೊಡ್ಡವನಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ಹಳೆಯ ನೆನಪುಗಳನ್ನು ಬೆನ್ನತ್ತಿಕೊಂಡು ಹೆತ್ತವರನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕುವುದೇ ಚಿತ್ರದ ಕತೆ. 

ಚಿತ್ರದ ಕಥೆಗೆ ಹೇಳಿ ಮಾಡಿಸಿದಂತಿರುವ ಹಾಡನ್ನು ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕ ರಘುರಾಮ್ ಸಮರ್ಥವಾಗಿ ಬಳಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಚಿತ್ರದ ತೀವ್ರತೆಯನ್ನು ಈ ಹಾಡು ಇನ್ನಷ್ಟು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸುತ್ತೆ. ಚಿತ್ರದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಅಪಾರ ಮೆಚ್ಚುಗೆಯ ಮಾತು ಕೇಳಿಬರುತ್ತಿವೆ. ಈ ಮಾತುಗಳು ರಘುರಾಮ್, ಕೊಲ್ಲ ಪ್ರವೀಣ್ ಅವರಿಗಷ್ಟೇ ಅಲ್ಲ, ಕಿಚ್ಚ ಸುದೀಪ್, ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕ ಸಂತೋಷ್ ಆನಂದ್‍ರಾಮ್, ಕಾರ್ತಿಕ್ ಗೌಡ ಮೊದಲಾದವರಿಗೆಲ್ಲ ಖುಷಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದೆ.

ಇದೇ ತಿಂಗಳು ತೆರೆಗೆ ಬರುತ್ತಿರುವ ಮಿಸ್ಸಿಂಗ್ ಬಾಯ್ ಸಿನಿಮಾ, ಟ್ರೇಲರ್, ವಿಭಿನ್ನ ಕಥಾ ಹಂದರದಿಂದಾಗಿಯೇ ಗಮನ ಸೆಳೆದಿರುವ ಚಿತ್ರ. ಕಿಚ್ಚನ ಮೆಚ್ಚುಗೆ ಪಡೆದಿದ್ದ ಮಿಸ್ಸಿಂಗ್ ಬಾಯ್ ಚಿತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ, ಕಿಚ್ಚನ ಎದುರು ಮಿಂಚಿದ್ದ ನಟನಿಂದಲೂ ಹಾರೈಕೆ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿದೆ. ಈಗ ಚಿತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಿಚ್ಚನ ಎದುರು ನಟಿಸಿದ್ದ ನಾನಿ, ಮಿಸ್ಸಿಂಗ್ ಬಾಯ್ ಚಿತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಶುಭ ಕೋರಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ತೆಲುಗು, ತಮಿಳಿನ ಬಹುಬೇಡಿಕೆಯ ನಟರಾಗಿರುವ ನಾನಿ, ಮಿಸ್ಸಿಂಗ್ ಬಾಯ್ ಚಿತ್ರದ ನಿರ್ಮಾಪಕ ಪಮ್ಮಿಯನ್ನು ಹೊಗಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಪಮ್ಮಿ ಎಂದರೆ, ಕೊಲ್ಲ ಪ್ರವೀಣ್. ಗುರುನಂದನ್ ಅಭಿನಯದ ಸಿನಿಮಾಗೆ ಆ್ಯಕ್ಷನ್ ಕಟ್ ಹೇಳಿರುವುದು ರಘುರಾಮ್. 

ಮಿಸ್ಸಿಂಗ್ ಬಾಯ್ ಚಿತ್ರ, ನಿಧಾನವಾಗಿ ಚಿತ್ರರಸಿಕರವನ್ನು ಆವರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದೆ. ನೈಜ ಘಟನೆ ಆಧರಿತ ಕಥೆ ಹೊಂದಿರುವ ಮಿಸ್ಸಿಂಗ್ ಬಾಯ್ ಸಿನಿಮಾ, ಕಿಚ್ಚ ಸುದೀಪ್, ನಾನಿ, ಶಿವಣ್ಣ ಮೊದಲಾದವರ ಗಮನ ಸೆಳೆದಿದೆ. ಈಗ ರಾಜಕಾರಣಿಗಳ ಮೆಚ್ಚುಗೆಗೂ ಪಾತ್ರವಾಗಿದೆ.

ಚುನಾವಣೆಯ ಬಿಡುವಿಲ್ಲದ ಶೆಡ್ಯೂಲ್ ನಡುವೆ ಚಿತ್ರತಂಡಕ್ಕೆ ಶುಭ ಕೋರಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯ. ಯಾವುದೇ ಚಿತ್ರ, ಸಮಾಜಕ್ಕೆ ಒಳ್ಳೆ ಸಂದೇಶ ನೀಡಬೇಕು. ಮಿಸ್ಸಿಂಗ್ ಬಾಯ್ ಚಿತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಶುಭವಾಗಲಿ ಎಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಸಿದ್ದು ಒಬ್ಬರೇ ಅಲ್ಲ, ಉಪಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ಪರಮೇಶ್ವರ್ ಕೂಡಾ ಚಿತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಶುಭ ಹಾರೈಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ರಘುರಾಮ್ ನಿರ್ದೇಶನದ ಚಿತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಗುರುನಂದನ್, ರಂಗಾಯಣ ರಘು ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಪಾತ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಟಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇದೇ 22ಕ್ಕೆ ಚಿತ್ರ ರಿಲೀಸ್ ಆಗುತ್ತಿದೆ.

ಕಥೆ ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ ನನಗೆ ಇಷ್ಟವಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಚಿತ್ರದ ಭಾವನಾತ್ಮಕ ಸನ್ನಿವೇಶಗಳು. ರಘುರಾಮ್ ನನಗೆ ಹೇಗೆ ಕಥೆ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದರೋ, ಅದೇ ರೀತಿ ಚಿತ್ರ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಚಿತ್ರವನ್ನು ಒಬ್ಬ ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ಪ್ರೇಕ್ಷಕನಂತೆ ನೋಡಿದಾಗ ನನಗೆ ಬಹಳ ಇಷ್ಟವಾಯಿತು. ಖಂಡಿತಾ ಈ ಚಿತ್ರ ಜನ ಮೆಚ್ಚುಗೆ ಗಳಿಸುತ್ತೆ ಎಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಪ್ರವೀಣ್.
