ಲೇಡಿಸ್ ಟೈಲರ್. ಸಿದ್ಲಿಂಗು ಹಾಗೂ ನೀರ್‍ದೋಸೆ ಚಿತ್ರಗಳ ನಂತರ ವಿಜಯ್ ಪ್ರಸಾದ್ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಚಿತ್ರ. ಚಿತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಹೀರೋಯಿನ್ ಬೇಕಿತ್ತೇನೋ ನಿಜ, ಆದರೆ, ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಯಾರೂ ರೆಡಿ ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಕಥೆಯ ಪಾತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ನಾಯಕಿ 120 ಕೆಜಿ ತೂಕ ಇರಬೇಕು. ಯಾರು..ಯಾರು..ಯಾರು ಎಂದು ಹುಡುಕುತ್ತಿದ್ದವರಿಗೆ ಶ್ರುತಿ ಹರಿಹರನ್ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಸ್ಟಾರ್‍ಗಿರಿಯನ್ನು ಮೂಟೆ ಕಟ್ಟಿಟ್ಟು, ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ಪಾತ್ರಗಳ ಹುಡುಕಾಟದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಶ್ರುತಿ ಹರಿಹರನ್, ಕಥೆಯನ್ನು ಒಪ್ಪಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅಂದಹಾಗೆ ಚಿತ್ರದ ನಾಯಕರಾಗಿ ಸಿಲ್ಲಿಲಲ್ಲಿ ರವಿಶಂಕರ್ ಪಕ್ಕಾ ಆಗಿದ್ದಾರಂತೆ. ಚಿತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಸುಮನ್ ರಂಗನಾಥ್ ವಿಶೇಷ ಪಾತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಣಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ವೀಣಾ ಸುಂದರ್, ವೆಂಕಟರಾವ್ ಕೂಡಾ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಪಾತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ. 

ವಿಜಯ್ ಪ್ರಸಾದ್ ಅವರ ಚಿತ್ರಗಳಿಗೆ ಈ ರೀತಿ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಯಾಗುವುದು ಇದು ಮೊದಲೇನೂ ಅಲ್ಲ. ಅವರ ಹಿಂದಿನ ಎರಡೂ ಚಿತ್ರಗಳು ಇದೇ ರೀತಿಯ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆ ಎದುರಿಸಿದ್ದವು. ನಂತರ ಎರಡೂ ಚಿತ್ರಗಳು ತಮ್ಮ ವಿಭಿನ್ನತೆಯ ಕಾರಣದಿಂದಲೇ ಮೆಚ್ಚುಗೆ ಗಳಿಸಿದ್ದವು. ಅದು ಲೇಡಿಸ್ ಟೈಲರ್ ಚಿತ್ರದಲ್ಲೂ ಕಂಟಿನ್ಯೂ ಆಗಿದೆ ಅಷ್ಟೆ.

ಶೃತಿ ಹರಿಹರನ್ ಅವರ ಮೀಟೂ ಆರೋಪ ಹಾಗೂ ಅರ್ಜುನ್ ಸರ್ಜಾ ತೇಜೋವಧೆಯ ಹಿಂದೆ ಕ್ರೈಸ್ತ ಮಿಷನರಿಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಕನ್ನಡದ ಇಬ್ಬರು ಸ್ಟಾರ್ ನಟರ ಕೈವಾಡವಿದೆಯಂತೆ. ಇಂಥಾದ್ದೊಂದು ಆರೋಪ ಮಾಡಿರೋದು ಪ್ರಶಾಂತ್ ಸಂಬರಗಿ. ಉದ್ಯಮಿಯೂ ಆಗಿರುವ ಪ್ರಶಾಂತ್, ಅರ್ಜುನ್ ಸರ್ಜಾ ಆಪ್ತರೂ ಹೌದು.

ಅರ್ಜುನ್ ಸರ್ಜಾ ಚೆನ್ನೈನಲ್ಲಿ 25 ಕೋಟಿ ಖರ್ಚು ಮಾಡಿ ಹನುಮಾನ್ ದೇಗುಲ ನಿರ್ಮಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಈ ದೇಗುಲಕ್ಕೆ ಕ್ರೈಸ್ತ ಮಿಷನರಿಗಳ ವಿರೋಧವಿದೆ. ಹೀಗಾಗಿ ಆ ಜಾಲದ ಕುಮ್ಮಕ್ಕಿನಿಂದ ಕಮ್ಯುನಿಸ್ಟ್ ಮನಸ್ಥಿತಿಯ ಶೃತಿ ಹರಿಹರನ್, ದೇಶದ್ರೋಹದ ಕೆಲಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅರ್ಜುನ್ ಸರ್ಜಾ ತೇಜೋವಧೆಗೆ ಮುಂದಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಹಿಂದೂ ವಿರೋಧಿ ಶಕ್ತಿಗಳು, ಅರ್ಜುನ್ ಸರ್ಜಾ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಒಂದಾಗಿವೆ. ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಪಟ್ಟಂತೆ 400 ಪುಟಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ದಾಖಲೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸೈಬರ್ ಕ್ರೈಂ ಪೊಲೀಸರಿಗೆ ನೀಡಿದ್ದೇವೆ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಪ್ರಶಾಂತ್ ಸಂಬರಗಿ.

ಪ್ರಶಾಂತ್ ಸಂಬರಗಿ ಆರೋಪ, ಇಡೀ ಮೀಟೂ ಅಭಿಯಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಚಲನವನ್ನೇ ಮೂಡಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟಿದೆ.

ಶ್ರುತಿ ಹರಿಹರನ್ ಕನ್ನಡದಲ್ಲೀಗ ತುಂಬಾ ಬ್ಯುಸಿಯಾಗಿರುವ ನಟಿ. ಅದರಲ್ಲೂ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ ಬಂದ ಮೇಲೆ ಶ್ರುತಿ ಅವರ ಡಿಮ್ಯಾಂಡ್ ಇನ್ನಷ್ಟು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿದೆ. ಈಗ ನಿರೂಪ್ ಭಂಡಾರಿ ನಾಯಕತ್ವದ ರಾಜರಥ ಚಿತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರುತಿ ಹರಿಹರನ್ ಕೂಡಾ ಸೇರಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ರಂಗಿತರಂಗ ಖ್ಯಾತಿಯ ಭಂಡಾರಿ ಬ್ರದರ್ಸ್ ಚಿತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರುತಿ ಅವರ ಪಾತ್ರ ಏನು ಅನ್ನೋದು ಸದ್ಯಕೆಕ ಸೀಕ್ರೆಟ್ ಆಗಿಯೇ ಇದೆ.

If everything had gone right, then Upendra starrer 'Upendra Matte Baa' was supposed to release on his birthday. However the film's release was postponed due to various reasons and now the film is all set to hit the screens on the 17th of November.

'Upendra Matte Baa' is a remake of Telugu hit 'Soggade Chinna Nayana'. Upendra's protege Loki who had directed Upendra in 'H2O' is the director of the film. The film stars Upendra, Prema, Chandini, Shruthi Hariharan, Deepika Kapse, Shobharaj, Vasishta Simha and others in prominent roles.

Upendra is playing a dual role in the film apart from scripting it. Prema and Shruthi Hariharan are the heroines. Sridhar Sambhram has composed the music for the film. Swamy J is the camerman.

ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಆರೋಪ ಹೊರಿಸುತ್ತಿರು ನಟಿ ಶೃತಿ ಹರಿಹರನ್, ಚಿತ್ರದ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹಾಡಿ ಹೊಗಳಿದ್ದರು. ಚಿತ್ರೀಕರಣದ ವೇಳೆ ನನ್ನೆದುರಾಗಲೀ, ಚಿತ್ರತಂಡದ ಯಾರ ಎದುರೇ ಆಗಲಿ.. ಅಕೆ ಕಣ್ಣೀರು ಹಾಕಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಬೇಕಿದ್ದರೆ, ಚಿತ್ರೀಕರಣದ ವಿಡಿಯೋ ತರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಪರಿಶೀಲನೆ ಮಾಡಿ.

ರೂಮಿಗೆ ಬನ್ನಿ, ಮಜಾ ಮಾಡೋಣ ಎಂದು ನಾನು ಶೃತಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಕರೆದಿಲ್ಲ. ಸೆಟ್‍ನ ಎಲ್ಲರನ್ನೂ ಊಟಕ್ಕೆ ಕರೆದಿದ್ದೆ. ಎಲ್ಲರೊಂದಿಗೇ ಊಟ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೆ. ಆಗ ಶೃತಿ ಅವರನ್ನೂ ಕರೆದಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಯುಬಿ ಸಿಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾಗ ಕೂಡಾ ನಾನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಕೊಠಡಿಗೆ ಕರೆದಿಲ್ಲ. ಅವರನ್ನಷ್ಟೇ ಅಲ್ಲ, ಯಾರನ್ನೂ ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ರೂಮಿಗೆ ಕರೆದಿಲ್ಲ.

ಶೃತಿ ಅವರ ಆಯ್ಕೆ ವೇಳೆಯೂ ನಾನು ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕ ಅರುಣ್ ಹೇಳಿದ ಮೇಲಷ್ಟೇ ಆಕೆ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಗೊತ್ತಾಗಿದ್ದು. ಚಿತ್ರೀಕರಣದಲ್ಲಷ್ಟೇ ನಾನು ಆಕೆಯನ್ನು ಮೊದಲ ಬಾರಿಗೆ ನೋಡಿದ್ದು. ಅದಕ್ಕೂ ಮೊದಲು ಆಕೆಯನ್ನು ನೋಡಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಪರಿಚಯವೂ ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ.

ಪೊಲೀಸರ ಎಲ್ಲ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಗಳಿಗೂ ಅರ್ಜುನ್ ಸರ್ಜಾ ಕೂಲ್ ಆಗಿಯೇ ಉತ್ತರ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ವಿಚಾರಣೆ ವೇಳೆ ಸ್ಟೇಷನ್‍ಗೆ ಧ್ರುವ ಸರ್ಜಾ, ಚಿರಂಜೀವಿ ಸರ್ಜಾ, ಆಪ್ತರಾದ ಪ್ರಶಾಂತ್ ಸಂಬರಗಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಮ್ಯಾನೇಜರ್ ಶಿವಾರ್ಜುನ್ ಕೂಡಾ ಬಂದಿದ್ದರು.

Actor Achyuth Kumar and actress Shruthi Hariharan has bagged the best actor and actress award for the year 2016, while 'Amaravathi', 'Railway Children' and 'Antharjala' have bagged the first, second and third best film awards.

Apart from this, Tulu film 'Madipu' has been adjudged as best regional film, while 'Kirik Party' has been adjudged as the best entertainment film for the year 2016.

The Ambareesh starrer Ambi Ning Vyassaytho is releasing this month. Plans are afoot to release the film on September 28, the last Friday of the month. It is likely to be announced on September 16 when a special audio function in a star hotel has been arranged.

The devastating rains last month had forced the postponement of the film. Sudeep plays the role of the young Ambareesh in the film and his fans who were upset with The Villain getting postponed to October can now enjoy their star on screen this month itself.

Moreover after many years Ambareesh is playing the lead role in a film. All his old and young fans are therefore excited about the film. The film is still with the Censor Board and if there is a delay, the dates will have to be revised.

Just hours before Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce (KFCC) is to hold an all-important meeting over 'me too’ allegations especially concerning Sruthi Hariharan, multilingual actor Arjun Sarja has approached the court filing Rs 5 crore defamation suit against the actress.

He has approached the court citing that the actress has made false allegations and has in turn maligned his character and image. Sources say that the actor has even urged for restraining order against Sruthi from making any further statements until the matter is decided by the court.

The court is expected to hear the matter today or tomorrow.

The #MeTooIndia movement is at its peak with big names have started to tumble down with bigger revelations on an everyday basis. 

Just days after actress radio jockey turned actress Nethra revealed her #MeToo story followed by Sangeetha Bhat sharing her ten years long ordeals without naming anyone, now it's renowned actress Sruthi Hariharan of Lucia fame who has opened up on her #MeToo. She has accused one of the biggest stars of South Indian film industry - Arjun Sarja, who she says sexually harassed her during the shooting of a bilingual film - Vismaya in 2016.

“Honestly, I have been lucky as I have managed to escape physically and mentally scarring situations. However, in late 2016, there was one incident that left me startled and took a while for me to recover,” Sruthi shares.

About the particular incident, she writes: “I was shooting for a bilingual film which starred Arjun Sarja. A man whose movies I have grown up watching. I was excited about the opportunity. The first few days seemed normal, I played his wife in the film and that day we were to do a romantic scene where we had to hug each other after a brief dialogue. During the rehearsal, we delivered our lines and Mr. Arjun hugs me. With no forewarning or permission, he runs his hands intimately up and down my back. He pulls me closer with my body taut against his and asks the director if we could use this idea of foreplay in the scene. I was aghast. I am all for depicting realism in cinema, but this felt absolutely wrong. His intent seemed anything but professional. I hated that he did it and angry that I didn't know what to say then.”

On why she chose to talk about it now, she goes on to add, “I choose to come out now, because henceforth I think Mr. Arjun Sarja needs to make sure he doesn't cross the thin line between two actors and use his position of power to cause another person discomfort or hurt”.

“I choose to do this publicly - as this movement is more than you and me and our individual experiences. It is a collective voice to question an existing system of power play and to call a spade for what it is. The point is to be part of a larger battle against years of female oppression and abuse. It is a movement to make sure no man ever takes a woman's personal space for granted, whoever she is to him.”

Action King Arjun Sarja, who is accused of sexual harassment by actress Sruthi Hariharan, has approached High Court seeking to quash the FIR registered against him by the Cubbon Park police. It may be recalled that 'Chitraloka’ had recently reported that the actor is most likely to approach HC.

The actor who has filed the petition in the HC on Tuesday has prayed for interim order, to stay all further proceedings in the matter or direct to save the actor from any kind of coercive action by the police such as arrest, detention, restraint and so on.

Arjun in his petition states that the Sruthi has theatrically woken-up after three years and alleged to cost the dignity of a dignified person. 

“While an assembly of few persons identified with fanatic orientations were openly seen moving and acting for her in the wild pursuit, though the society at large vouched in support of Arjuna Sarja,” the petition states.

The actor goes on to state that his reputation has been badly hit due to fabricated lies against him and has also caused huge damage to him and his entire family. 

He also adds that the actress has filed the complaint after he filed a defamation suit of Rs 5 crore against the actress, and that the additional tailor made allegations were made in the complaint which were missing in her Facebook post with the hashtag 'me too’. 

The petition also states that the complaint and the FIR contents clearly shows that there were clear conspiracy to misuse the cyber space. There are several other aspects mentioned in the petition which states that it is a malicious act to defame him and his reputation.

Within hours after actress Sruthi Hariharan made one of biggest revelation to hit the sandalwood following the ongoing #MeTooIndia movement, accusing one of the popular south Indian star actors - Arjun Sarja, the actor has refuted the allegations saying that he is shocked and is in total disbelief.

The actor has said that he will take the legal course by filing defamation case against the actress.

Meanwhile, the actress has hit back saying that she has proofs to prove her charges against the actor who made her feel discomfort during the rehearsals for the shooting of the film Vismaya in 2016.

I have proof and I will come out with it when needed, Sruthi has said.

Around Sarja has also urged the actress not to use #MeToo, which has been a great platform for cheap publicity.

Neeasam Satish and Sruthi Hariharan starrer Beautiful Manasugalu is likely to release on December 16, sources close to the film team said. The film is directed by Olavina Mandara fame Jayateertha.

The film was launched in February this year and it has been a month since the audio album of the film was launched by Darshan. The shooting of the film was completed three months ago and the film is now ready. But the film team is waiting for the right date to release it as there are a lot of Kannada films awaiting release in the coming week

Anish, Vijayaprasad, Ravishankar Gowda, Anup Seelin, Vasishta Simha, P H Vishwanath, B S Lingadevaru, Vanisri, Guru Deshpande, Karisubbu, Shashank, Aishani Shetty, Shivamani, Dinakar Thoogudeepa, Kaviraj, Tabla Naani, Sundar, Vani Sundar, Uday Mehta, Sindhu Lokanath, P C Shekhar, Mitra, 'Aa Dinagalu' Chethan, Disha Poovaiah, Nagatihalli Chandrashekhar, Raghu Deekshith, Sonu Gowda, Pavan Kumar, Jacob Verghese, A P Arjun, Krishi Tapanda and others were present at the screening.

'Beautiful Manasugalu' is being directed by Jayatheertha. and he himself has written the story and screenplay of the film. Skanda Audio Prasanna is the producer of the film. Bharath B J is the music director while Kiran Hampapur is the cameraman. Achyuth Kumar, Tabla Nani, Prashanth Siddi and others play prominent roles in the film apart from Satish Neenasam and Shruthi Hariharan.

Director KM Chaitanya and actor Chiranjeevi Sarja have teamed up again for their third film together. They new film, which is as-yet untitled, is set to be launched next month. They first worked together in Aatagara and again in Aake which is releasing this month. 

Their new film is a thriller and will be shot in Bengaluru and Kolkata. The film is produced by S Raghunath, TG Vishwaprasad and Vivek P. Music will be by Sridhar Sambhram and Malharbhatt Joshi will be the Director of Photography.

Apart from Chiranjeevi Sarja, the other actors include Sruthi Hariharan, Sangeetha Bhat and Amaan. Rohit Padaki is writing the dialogues.

Shooting for the new film starts on June 19. They will shoot for two days before the start of Aashada. Full-fledged shooting will start in July end after the end fo Aashada.

Darshan who came back from Malaysia last week after shooting for 'Tarak', has traveled to Switzerland on Tuesday morning. Darshan has travelled to Switzerland for the shooting of songs for 'Tarak'.

The team of 'Tarak' has completed the talkie as well as action portions of the film and is all set to shoot songs in Switzerland, Italy and other places. The team will be shooting for songs in those places in the next few days and Darshan will be back by first week of July.

'Tarak' is being produced by Dushyanth who earlier produced 'Monalisa', 'Sri' and 'Milana'. Shruthi Hariharan and Sanvi Srivatsav will be playing the female leads opposite Darshan. Devaraj, Sadhu Kokila and others play prominent roles in the film. A V Krishnakumar is the cinematographer, while Arjun Janya is the music composer of this film.

Actor Darshan on Thursday night released the songs of Satish Neenasam and Shruthi Hariharan starrer 'Beautiful Manasugalu' at Cinepolis in Bangalore.

The audio release of the film was attended by Tabla Nani, Achyuthu Kumar, Satish Neenasam, Vijay Prasad, Anup Seelin and others and Darshan released the songs of the film amidst a huge applause.

'Beautiful Manasugalu's the fourth film of director Jayatheertha, who had earlier directed 'Olave Mandara'. The film is based on a real incident which happened in 2012. based on the incident, Jayatheertha has written the story and screenplay of the film. Skanda Audio Prasanna is the producer of the film. Bharath B J is the music director while Kiran Hampapur is the cameraman.

The first look of Shivarajakumar-Sudeep starrer 'The Villain' has been released via social media tonight.

'The Villain' is being directed by Prem after a six year gap. The film is being produced by C R Manohar and Arjun Janya is the music composer. Shruthi Hariharan is the heroine for Shivarajakumar. The heroine for Sudeep is yet to be finalised.

Last Friday's release Godhi  Banna Saadarana Maikattu is turning out to be a sensation. After winning ample praise from critics,  the film is now attracting audience in large number who seem to have been smitten by it.

Almost everyone who has seen the film is vouching for a state or national award for Anant  Nag. The acting apart the film's sentiments seem to have endeared itself to the audience. The film directed by Hemanth Rao is seeing increase in shows since Friday.

On Saturday and Sunday there are more shows for the film than they were on Friday. The collection at box office were more on Saturday  and by the bookings,  it seems like Sunday will be much better.

Rakshith Shetty's hit film 'Godhi Banna Sadharana Maikattu' is all set to be remade in Hindi. The film will be remade by VL Productions.

The film which deals with the story of missing persons has Ananth Nag play a prominent role along with Rakshith in this film.
