ಚಿತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಸುನಿ ಎತ್ತಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ಪಾತ್ರಗಳೇ ಡಿಫರೆಂಟ್. ಹೀರೋ ರಿಷಿಯದ್ದು ತರಕಾರಿ ಮಂಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹರಾಜು ಕೂಗುವ ಪಾತ್ರ. ನಾಯಕಿ ಶ್ರದ್ಧಾರದ್ದು ಇನ್ನೂ ಡಿಫರೆಂಟ್. ಬಬ್ಲಿಯಾಗಿ ಬದುಕಬೇಕು ಎಂಬ ಕನಸಿದ್ದೂ, ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿ ಹೊತ್ತಿರುವ ಕಾರಣಕ್ಕೆ ಸೀರಿಯಸ್ಸಾಗಿ ಬದುಕುತ್ತಿರುವ ಹುಡುಗಿ. ಕಾನ್ಸೆಪ್ಟ್ ಏನೋ ಮಜಭೂತಾಗಿದೆ. ಆದರೆ, ಅದನ್ನು ತೆರೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಹೇಗೆ ತಂದಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ ಅನ್ನೋದು ಮುಖ್ಯವಾಗುತ್ತೆ. ಅಲ್ಲವೇ. ಸುನಿ ವಿಚಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದರೆ ಅನುಮಾನಗಳೇನೂ ಇರಲ್ಲ. ಅವರ ಚಿತ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸದಭಿರುಚಿಯ ಪೋಲಿತನ ಧಾರಾಳವಾಗಿರುತ್ತೆ. ಅಂತಹ ಸುನಿ, ಈಗ ಚಿತ್ರ ರಿಲೀಸ್‍ಗೂ ಮುಂಚೆಯೇ ಭಾಗ-2 ಹೊರತರುವ ಆಲೋಚನೆಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಕಥೆಯೂ ಸಿದ್ಧವಾಗಿದೆಯಂತೆ. ನಾಯಕ ರಿಷಿ ಜೊತೆ ಮಾತುಕತೆಯೂ ನಡೆದಿದೆಯಂತೆ.

ಭಾಗ-2 ಬರಬೇಕೆಂದರೆ, ಚಿತ್ರವನ್ನು ಪ್ರೇಕ್ಷಕ ಒಪ್ಪಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು. ಅದು ಸುನಿ ಟೆನ್ಷನ್. ತುಂಬಾ ದೂರವೇನಿಲ್ಲ. ಇದೇ 21ಕ್ಕೆ, ಇದೇ ಶುಕ್ರವಾರ ರಿಲೀಸ್ ಆಗ್ತಾ ಇದೆ.

With the post-production work getting delayed, the team of 'Rustom' has decided to postpone the release and now a fresh date has been announced. Now 'Rustom' will be releasing across Karnataka in the last week (28th) of June.

Earlier, the Shivarajakumar starrer was supposed to release on the 14th of June along with Upendra's 'I Love You'. But the first copy is yet to get ready, after which the film has to be censored, the team has decided to postpone the film to 28th of June.

'Rustom' stars Shivarajakumar, Shraddha Srinath, Mayuri, Vivek Oberoi and others in prominent roles. Mahendra Simha is the cinematographer, while Anup Seelin is the music director.  The film is being produced by Jayanna under Jayanna Combines banner.

Operation Alamelamma is turning out to be the most anticipated upcoming Kannada film. The Suni directed film has Rishi and Shraddha Srinath in the lead roles. The film is releasing on July 21. The buzz about the film reached new heights after Hombale Films the producers of Raajakumara picked up the theatre distribution rights of the film. Hombale Films have great hopes on the film. They are certain that Rishi will be a popular actor after the film is released. So they have also joined hands with Puneeth Raajakumara to jointly produce the next film of Rishi which has been titled Kavalu Daari. The film will be directed by Hemanth Rao of Godhi Banna Sadharana Mykattu fame.

Rishi has been known to Hemanth Rao for five years but the two did not get the opportunity to work together earlier. Now with the release of Operation Alamelamma near the work on the new film has also begun.

It is not easy to make a film that has both comedy and suspense. But that is exactly what director Suni has manged to create. Operation Alamelamma is one of those rare films which combines to various genre and brings out the best in both. This could have been purely a comedy love story or a kidnap thriller. But Suni manages to do a two in one film with success.

The film is about an orphan Purmy who makes a living working at a vegetable Mandi. He is caught by the police while checking a bag. It turns out that the bag has Rs 25 lakh which has to be paid to a kidnapper. Purmy is caught in a serious situation and has to prove his innocence. In the flashback we see how Purmy falls in love with a school teacher Ananya. 

There is suspense in both the narratives. The kidnap drama suspense is maintained by the love story suspense. Both these tracks merge into one story towards the climax. How it is interestingly done can be watched on the screen. There is some excellent acting by Rishi, Shradda Srinath and Rajesh Nataranga. There is subtle comedy in the narrative that is induced by the situations as well as the dialogues. 

Among the technicians the photography by new cinematographer Abhishek Kasargod impresses. There is good music and the songs are a delight. The BGM fits the story perfectly and there is not a frame out of place in editing. 

Suni has managed to create an interesting film that gives the audience a sense of fulfilment. It is one of the better films of 2017 and an important addition to the new kind of films that is coming out of Sandalwood.

Operation Alamelamma is yet to release and the entire film team is still busy with its upcoming release on July 21. But the chatter about the film's sequel is only getting louder by the day. Even before the audio launch of the film some producers has approached director Suni to make a sequel to it.

This film is produced by Suni himself. Sources say that Suni is open to the idea but will make a commitment only after getting feedback from the audience to Operation Alamelamma. This is a comedy thriller and not easy to pull off. But the trailers and music have become big sensations and there is huge expectations about this film.

Suni has made a sequel to his first film Simpleag Ond Love Story. So he is not new to such ideas. As of now there is suspense about the sequel to Operation Alamelamma.

Suni's latest release Operation Alamelamma is turning out to be a major money spinner at the box office. The film is expected to become one of the biggest hits of 2017 according to industry people.

The film is still running in over 20 screens in Bengaluru city alone. The film has made Purmy Rishi an actor in demand. He has also bagged a new film Maharathi. According to sources Operation Alamelamma is in profit zone within a week of release making it a commercial success within a very short period.

Apart from introducing Rishi in the lead role the film also had Shraddha Srinath, Auna Balraj and Vijeth in the cast among others. 

Satish Neenasam's  new film 'Godhra' was launched on Saturday morning at at the Omkar Hills in Rajarajeshwari Nagar in Bangalore and Shivarajakumar sounded clap for the first shot of the film.

The new film is being directed by Nandish who had earlier assisted Jacob Verghese in 'Chambal' and others.

Apart from Satish, Shraddha Srinath and Kishore will be playing prominent roles. The shooting for the film will be held in Bangalore, Kukke Subramanya apart from Chattisgarh.

Dhruva Sarja's new film 'Hayagreeva' was launched recently. During the time of the launch, the heroine for the film was not selected. Now actress Shraddha Srinath has been roped into play the role of heroine in this film.

'Hayagreeva' is being directed by well known commercial film director Nandakishore and produced by Gangadhar who had earlier produced 'Adhyaksha', 'Jarasandha' and other films.

As of now the heroine for the film has not been selected. Apart from that Ravichandran, Ramya Krishna, Sonu Sood and others are likely to act in the film in prominent roles. Arjun Janya is the music director.

Shraddha Srinath, the actress who has made a big mark in Sandalwoodfirst with her film U-Turn directed by Pawan Kumar, will make her Tamil debut next month. It is the remake of the Kannada film Ulidavaru Kandante directed by Rakshit Shetty.

The Tamil film will be directed by Gautham Ramachandran and Nivin Pauly plays the lead role. Shraddha's role in U-Turn was that of an intern at a newspaper. In Ulidavaru Kandante remake she will play a full-fledged journalist
