Actor Ajay Rao who is currently busy with John Jaani Janardhan is all set to act in the remake of Tamil hit Pichaikaran. The movie is all set to be produced by Jack Manju and Yogi Dwarkish under the banner of Mysore Talkies.

'Pichaikaran' is a film written and directed by Sasi. Vijay Antony played the hero's role in the film, while Satna Titus was the heroine. Vijay Antony himself scored the music for the film, while his wife Fathima Antony produced the film under the Vijay Antony Film Corporation banner.

The Kannada version of the film, is still in planning stage and is likely to be launched in a couple of months. More details about the film are yet awaited.

Actor Ajay Rao on Friday night released the songs of Vijay Raghavendra starrer 'Raja Loves Radhe' composed by Veer Samarth.

'Raja Loves Radhe' is being directed by Rajeshekhar who had earlier directed 'Ee Sambashane' and produced by H L N Raj who had earlier produced 'Kotigond Love Story'. 'Raja Loves Radhe' stars Vijay Raghavendra, Ritiksha, Shubha Poonja, Ravishankar, Tabla Naani, Shobharaj, Mitra, Danny Kuttappa and others in prominent roles.

Ajay Rao's new film 'Dhairyam' was launched in Bangalore on Sunday. 'Sarathi' producer Satya Prakash clapped for the first shot of the film. 'Dandayatre' is produced by Sanjeev S Khasnis under the Harsha Entertainment Pvt Ltd banner.

Vedguru who has worked as an associate for many directors has turned independent with this film. He himself has written the story and screenplay apart from directing it. The film has music by Sandy and Rammy is the director of photography for this film. The shooting for the film will start soon.

Ajay Rao acting in producer T R Chandrashekhar's new film is not a new news. Chandrashekhar had earlier announced that he would be producing a film for Ajay Rao. Now the film has been titled as 'Shokiwala'.

'Shokiwala' is being directed by B Thimmegowda. Jockey Thimmegowda had worked for few films as an assistant and associate director including 'KGF'. This is his first as a director and seventh from Chandrashekhar's Crystal Park Cinemas.

'Shokiwala' stars Ajay and Sanjana Anand in prominent roles. Sridhar V Sambhram is the music director, while Naveen Kumar is the cinematographer.

Actor Ajay Rao released the songs of 'Raja-Hamsa' on Monday night at the Sanctum Hotel in Bangalore. B C Patil, Yamuna and others were present at the occasion.

'Raja-Hamsa' is being produced under the Jana Mana Creations banners and Jadesh has written the story and screenplay apart from directing it. Gowrishankar who had earlier acted in 'Jokali' is back playing a hero in this film. Gowrishankar is Gowrishikar in this film. Ranjini Raghavan is the heroine.

Joshua Sridhar who has given melodious songs in the past has composed the music for this film.

The songs of Ajay Rao's new film 'Dhairyam' was released in front of Vidhana Soudha recently and one of the highlights of the audio release was the songs were released by farmer, soldier and a student.

The audio release event was attended by Ajay Rao, Aditi, director Shiva Tejas, producer Dr K Raju, music director Emil and others. With songs released, the team of 'Dhairyam' is all set to release the film and the film is likely to be released in the month of June.

The film stars Ajay Rao, Ravisghankar and others in prominent roles. Emil is the music director, while Shekhar Chandru is the cameraman.

Dhairyam directed Shiv Tejas (who had earlier directed Prem Kumar in Maley) is based on real-life incidents that the director saw in Bengaluru. Shiv Tejas worked as an associate of directors like Dayal Padmanabhan and R Chandur before becoming an independent director.

While he was an associate he began to write scripts for his future films. One of them was Dhairyam which is based on two incidents which he saw with his own eyes. He was impressed and knew it would suit a film story. He developed the story around these incidents.

The film is mainly based on two characters, one a police officer and another a common man and there is a fight between them using brains. Who comes up on top is the plot. The film is a thriller and Ajai Rao is paired with Aditi in her first Sandalwood film. Ravishankar is a police officer but in a different shade from all his previous roles.

When a real problem comes into their lives, the three boys realise that they should also show concern for the society in the easiest possible way so that everyone in the society can be happy and not just the three of them. What this message is better seen in the theatres.

The music by Arjun Janya is foot tapping and takes you on a fun ride. The photography by Pathaje is also good and he makes the narrative lively. The film is the official remake of the Malayalam film Amar Akbar Anthony and there is not much change to the story. The screenplay has been suitably changed and the dialogues are given a Kannada touch. The director has a good hold on the proceedings and does not allow a single dull moment to enter. 

While the first half of the film is full of fun the second half too has fun but also some twists and turns and emotional appeal. A film to enjoy with friends. Enjoy the fun.

The release of the film which was scheduled for the second Friday of November was postponed due to the demonitization of Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 notes which created uncertainty over the audience coming to theatres.

Now a month after the original release schedule the film is releasing on December 9. The film has a huge starcast that includes Ajai Rao, Yogish, Darling Krishna, Aindrita Ray and others. The film is directed by Guru Deshpande.
