The inmates at the Parappana Agrahara prison where Huchcha Venkat is lodged since Friday are making a beeline to meet him, say sources. However, Venkat has been lodged in a high-security cell and prison authorities are not allowing anyone inside to meet or speak to him.

In the last few weeks Venkat has become the talk of the town and even people inside the prison have taken a liking to his eccentric behaviour. Undertrials as well as convicts inside the prision requested jail authorities to meet him. But jail police are apprehensive about allowing this as they fear it may lead to trouble.

Venkat has been given the undertrial number 11379.
