Actor Ravi Chetan has started a restaurant in Bengaluru. Many actors have started businesses over the years and mostly they are tied to the film industry itself. Very few venture out and start a business in another sector. Ravi Chetan has proved to be one of those rare entrepreneurs from Sandalwood.

His new non-vegetarian restaurant is called Meat N Eat. It was inaugurated by Kiccha Sudeep a few days ago. Hotel business is not new to film industry people. Sandalwood producer Raghunath also started two restaurants last year.

Harshika Poonacha launched her event management company some time ago. Many film producers also have business interests outside films mainly in real estate development like Soundarya Jagadish. Chitraloka wishes Ravi Chetan all the best in his new venture. 

Actress Harshika Poonachcha who has got a complete make over has silently shared screen space with Upendra in 'Upendra Matte Hutti Baa - Inti Prema'. The actress has participated in the shooting of the film recently.

'Upendra Matte Hutti Baa - Inti Prema' is a remake of Telugu hit 'Soggade Chinna Nayana'. Upendra will be playing dual role in the film. Prema and Shruthi Hariharan are the female leads. Ravishankar, Vasishta Simha and Avinash have been roped to play prominent roles in the film.

Upendra's protege Loki is directing 'Upendra Matte Hutti Baa - Inti Prema'.

Actress Harshika Poonacha has come out against the Me Too movement claiming that some actresses are doing it just for publicity. In a long online post the actress has lambasted actress who are making allegations and says that they enjoyed all the things that they got from the film industry doing what they did and after they have reached a good position are now blaming those who helped them. In gist she says that the actresses were complicit in what they did and were willing participants but have now claiming to be victims. 

The actress says they she has seen many who smoke ganja and themselves go behind big stars, producers, business people for roles. In the explosive post that reveals many dirty dealings in the industry, she says "Most of these so called activist actresses do everything when they badly need what they want in the initial stages of their careers (get cast in good films , make money, network , travel, luxurious life etc) by giving all the freedom to these men who they now accuse for their own selfish needs of publicity, they start targeting the same men who they were smiling and walking hands in hands with! I personally have seen these so called great activist actresses smoking ganja, having a great time in their song shoots in foriegn countries, falling on famous men (actors from other industries , producers , real estate barons etc at big award functions in Malaysia , Dubai, Singapore etc ) and doing things that I do not want to mention here."

 Harshika says that she is disgusted at actress who are joining the Me Too bandwagon for publicity and ruining the careers and families of other actors now for alleged incidents that happened years ago. She also cites two videos she has seen of actresses which reveals that they are not all good at heart. 

About the two videos she has seen Harshika says "One of the famous producers who is close to me and a wellwisher was showing me a video of a few of these so called me too actresses happily smoking ganja lying down on a famous persons shoulder and talking about how they can spoil the names of a few people. In another video there is this famous actor who has shot a video himself of this famous actress half nude in the car where she is seen  happily telling him "i should be there in your next film also ok". 

Harshika says that she did not want to speak about the issue but was forced to do so seeing how some actresses are making false claims. 

"I was keeping quiet for so long thinking I should not talk against my fellow actresses but this is becoming a mockery of us other actresses and our industry which has given us bread and butter and made us what we are today!" Harshika has said. 

She has challenged the Me Too actresses to dare and name top stars if they have guts. "I have a question for you! Do you have the guts to name the A list superstars in each film industry?

Why arent the superstar actresses of every industries not making any claims or allegations?". Harshika's comments has given a new dimension to the whole debate on Me Too.

Following minister Sa Ra Mahesh asking who Harshika Poonacha is after she questioned the lack of quality with regard to model houses built for the victims of Kodagu floods, the actress has clarified, hitting hard against the minister saying that she has all the rights to question the action of the state government and especially she being a proud Kodava.

"I am being criticized for talking reality. I just expressed my views at an event in Mysuru on Saturday after looking at the standards of the model houses built for the flood victims in Kodagu district. I am also a qualified engineer with excellent academic record. As a citizen, I have all the rights to express my views and also to seek justice. All I urged was better facilities," says Harshika.

On the minister Mahesh, who is in charge of Kodagu district, dismissing her views by asking who she is, Harshika says that it is not right to undermine someone's view just because he/she belongs to the entertainment industry. "Even Mrs. Smriti Irani, the present Union Minister once belonged to the same Industry, and moreover recently film actors have proved their worth in the recently held Mandya Lok Sabha Election," she adds.

In a video statement, released by the actress, she has urged for an emergency hospital in the district for which she has been campaigning through various platforms for a while.

Many Kannada stars including Upendra, Puneeth and Ramya have been brand ambassadors of IPL cricket teams. Sudeep went ahead and became captain of a CCL and KPL team as well as owner of a KPL cricket team. Harshika Poonacha has gone international.

She is currently in Colombo promoting the Sri Lankan T20 cricket's world cup team. It is part of a sponsorship promotion and Harshika also met top cricket stars of Sri Lanka including Lasit Malinga and others during her visit. A Bengaluru based company is sponsoring the Lankan T20 world cup cricket team.

There is a sudden outbreak of the infectious mutant strain of the novel CoronaVirus in London. Harshika was in London recently for the shooting of a new Bhojpuri film, where she is playing the female lead. Though Harshika was back a few days back, she was trolled for not being quarantined. So, Harshika made a video and said that she is not only fine and requested not to spread rumours about her.

'It's been nearly two weeks since I came back from London after shooting for the Bhojpuri film. I am in Bangalore for the last two weeks and even shot for a photo shoot last week. I am safe and healthy and I request not to spread baseless rumours about me' said Harshika.

The latest to joint the bandwagon is none other than Harshika Poonachcha. Harshika has said that the real reason about why she could not make her Bollywood entry is casting couch.

'The real reason, why I did not make an entry to Bollywood films is nothing but casting couch. I had signed two films in Hindi and before I had to get the advance, a manager approached me and said that I have to commit for other things also, if I wished to act in the film. So, I refused to act in both the films and returned back to Bangalore' said Harshika.

'It was really a bad experience. But I didn't want to react about it. God has given me a lot of options, I don't want to prove myself in a short cut. I have acted in Kannada, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam languages and I am happy about it' said Harshika.

After strongly expressing displeasure against 'me too’ movement being misused by few actresses and terming it as 'me too for publicity’, actress Harshika Poonacha has revealed that she has been receiving threat messages and calls from past two days from few well known personalities.

“Few have offered me money to shut up. I will have to give police complaint if it continues,” she has warned them, adding that her opinions were honest and from her heart, and moreover no body should cover truth.

On Tuesday she had said that nobody should disrespect women, objectify them or force them to do anything against their will, but she was truly disgusted to see how few actresses are using their femininity as a tool for pure publicity.

Voicing her opinion in support of actor Arjun Sarja, accused of sexual harassment, Harshika made startling revelations that most of these so called activist actresses do everything when they badly need what they want in the initial stages of their careers (get cast in good films, make money, network, travel, luxurious life and so on) by giving all the freedom to these men who they now accuse for their own selfish needs of publicity. “They start targeting the same men who they were smiling and walking hand in hand with," she said while further daring such actresses to name 'A’ list superstars in the industry, also asking them why superstar actresses were not making any allegations or claims.

She had even revealed a couple of controversial incidents involving so called 'me too’ actresses without naming them.

Actress Harshika Poonachcha has said that she is doing a Bollywood film and she is ready to take up good Kannada projects. Earlier, Harshika had done a photo shoot and had said that she will be doing a Bollywood film soon.

Though she had not revealed about which Bollywood film, she had said that she would give more details about the film. Now the actress has taken an U Turn by saying that she didn't say that she was doing a Bollywood film.

'I had done the photo shoot for a make over and nothing else. Somehow, people started to say that I have done the photo shoot because I am doing a Bollywood film. I am not doing any Bollywood film. Though I got a couple of offers, I declined it due to various reasons. I am not doing any film and ready to take good assignments in Kannada' said Harshika

In the last few days Kannada heroines are trending in Chennai! No they are not acting in any new Tamil film. All Harshika Poonacha and Parul Yadav did was to say that their favourite Tamil actor was Ajith and that was enough.

A few days ago, to a question by a fan Harshika announced that Ajith was her favorite Tamil actor. His fans did the rest. The actress became the toast of his fans. Saturday was the turn of Parul. She gave the same answer and fans made sure she trended in Chennai with the catch phrase "One more Kannada actress is Thala fan".

Actor-director Ramesh Aravind says his latest film 'Re' which is being directed by Sunil Kumar Desai is like a picnic on a dining table and will be loved by audience. ''Re' is a happy film. The film has a very good concept and I have not seen such a concept on Indian screen. I really enjoyed working in the film.  It's a family film and is like a picnic on a dining table.

'Re' stars Ramesh along with Ananthnag,  Uncle Lokanath, Ramesh Bhatt,  Harshika Poonachcha and others in prominent roles.

Re was one of the most anticipated films of the year. The most important thing about this film was the return of Sunil Kumar Desai to direction. It has been almost a decade. And what a comeback this is! 

The film has so many layers. Basically it is a comedy. The hero is inadvertently locked up in a big house and realises there are ghosts in it. But these are not the scary variety of ghosts. They are in fact his grandfather, great grandfather and forefathers going back 200 years. A forefather had failed to marry the girl he loved and therefore all generations are cursed to become ghosts. If the hero marries the right girl, all ancestors will be liberated. It is a fun theme. How the ghosts with their limited abilities manage to help the hero and themselves is the basic story.

There is also the love story. Real love and real friendship is defined in the two relationships the hero has. There are also subplots in the film. Other ghosts with other abilities, a villain with an evil plan and some philosophy also thrown in.

The five grandfathers are played by Anant Nag, Shivaram, Govinda Rao, Suresh Prabhu and Lokanath. Anant Nag has done a brilliant performance. Ramesh Aravind gets the perfect comedy timing. He also comes up trump in the emotional scenes. Harshika Poonacha has emerged as a good performer. The background music and cinematography are highlights of the film. Overall the film is a family entertainer you should not miss.

ಮುಂದಿನ ಶೆಡ್ಯೂಲ್‍ನಲ್ಲಿ ಹರ್ಷಿಕಾ ಪೂಣಚ್ಚ, ಟೀಂ ಸೇರಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇದು ಮಹಿಳಾ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಚಿತ್ರ ಎಂದಷ್ಟೇ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಿದೆ ಚಿತ್ರತಂಡ. ಗೌಸ್‍ಪೀರ್ ಸಂಭಾಷಣೆ ಬರೆದಿರುವ ಚಿತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಜೆಸ್ಸಿ ಗಿಫ್ಟ್ ಸಂಗೀತ ನೀಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಹರ್ಷಿಕಾ ಪೂಣಚ್ಚ, ಅಪ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಕನ್ನಡದ ಹುಡುಗಿ. ಅದರಲ್ಲೂ ಕೊಡವರ ಹೆಣ್ಣು ಮಗಳು. ಈ ಚೆಲುವೆ ಈಗ ಸ್ಯಾಂಡಲ್‍ವುಡ್ ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಬೇರೆ ಚಿತ್ರರಂಗಕ್ಕೆ ಹಾರಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಹರ್ಷಿಕಾ ಈಗ ಬಿಹಾರದ ಬೋಜ್‍ಪುರಿ ಭಾಷೆಯ ಚಿತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ನಟಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಬೋಜ್‍ಪುರಿ ಭಾಷೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬರುತ್ತಿರೋ ಆ ಚಿತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಶೇ.50ರಷ್ಟು ಶೂಟಿಂಗ್ ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ಮುಗಿದಿದೆ. ಆದರೆ ಚಿತ್ರಕ್ಕಿನ್ನೂ ಹೆಸರಿಟ್ಟಿಲ್ಲ. ಸದ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಲಂಡನ್‍ನಲ್ಲಿ ಬೋಜ್‍ಪುರಿ ಭಾಷೆಯ ಆ ಚಿತ್ರದ ಚಿತ್ರೀಕರಣ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದೆ.

ಕನ್ನಡ ಚಿತ್ರರಂಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆ ಗುರುತು ಮೂಡಿಸಿರುವ ಹರ್ಷಿಕಾ ಪೂಣಚ್ಚ ಈಗ ಚತುರ್‍ಭಾಷಾ ನಟಿಯಾಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ಕನ್ನಡ, ತೆಲುಗು, ತಮಿಳು ಚಿತ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಟಿಸಿರುವ ಹರ್ಷಿಕಾ, ಇದೇ ಮೊದಲ ಬಾರಿಗೆ ಮಲಯಾಳಂ ಚಿತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ನಟಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. 

ಹರ್ಷಿಕಾ ನಟಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಮಲಯಾಳಂ ಚಿತ್ರದ ಹೆಸರು ಚಾರ್‍ಮಿನಾರ್. ಅಜಿತ್ ಸಿ ಲೋಕೇಶ್ ಎಂಬುವರು ನಿರ್ದೇಶಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಚಿತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೇಮಂತ್ ಮೆನನ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಅಶ್ವಿನ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ನಟಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಮಲಯಾಳಂ ಚಿತ್ರವಾಗಿದ್ದರೂ, ಚಿತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಹರ್ಷಿಕಾ ಕನ್ನಡ ಮಾತನಾಡುವ ಪಾತ್ರವಂತೆ. ಅಂದರೆ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಹುಡುಗಿಯ ಪಾತ್ರ. ಚಿತ್ರಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಗೆಟಪ್ ಚೇಂಜ್ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ಹರ್ಷಿಕಾ ಪೂಣಚ್ಚ, ಇನ್ನೂ ಒಂದು ತಿಂಗಳು ಅದೇ ಗೆಟಪ್‍ನಲ್ಲಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ.

ಇದುವರೆಗೆ ಸುಮಾರು 100 ಫ್ಯಾಷನ್ ಶೋಗಳಾಗಿವೆ. ಆದರೆ, ಅಜ್ಜಿಯ ಜೊತೆ ರ್ಯಾಂಪ್‍ವಾಕ್ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದು ನನಗೆ ಸ್ಪೆಷಲ್ ಅನುಭವ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಹರ್ಷಿಕಾ.

ಈ ರೀತಿ ಕಚ್ಚುವವರು ಮನುಷ್ಯರಾ..? ಇವನು ಸೈಕೋಪಾತ್​ ಇರಬೇಕು. ಇವನಿಗೆ ಸರಿಯಾದ ಶಿಕ್ಷೆಯಾಗಲಿ. ಹೀಗೆಂದು ಪ್ರಥಮ್​ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಹೇಳಿರೋದು ಹರ್ಷಿಕಾ ಪೂಣಚ್ಚ. ಪ್ರಥಮ್ ಕಚ್ಚಾಟ, ಹುಚ್ಚಾಟ ಎಲ್ಲರನ್ನೂ ರೇಗಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟಿದೆ. 

ಇದು ಕೇವಲ ಹರ್ಷಿಕಾ ಪೂಣಚ್ಚ ಒಬ್ಬರ ಧ್ವನಿಯಲ್ಲ. ಬಿಗ್​ಬಾಸ್​ನಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಥಮ್ ಜೊತೆಗೇ ಇದ್ದ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕ ಓಂ ಪ್ರಕಾಶ್ ರಾವ್ ಕೂಡಾ ಇದೇ ಮಾತು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅವನೊಬ್ಬ ಡ್ರಾಮಾ ಕಿಂಗ್ ಎಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಭುವನ್ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಜನಾ ಕೂಡಾ ಅಷ್ಟೆ. ಇಷ್ಟು ಅಸಹ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಕಿತ್ತಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ಇವರಿಗೆ ಸರಿಯಾದ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಕೊಡಿಸಬೇಕು ಎಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ. 

ಇನ್ನುಳಿದಂತೆ ಬಿಗ್​​ಬಾಸ್​ನಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಹಲವು ಸ್ಪರ್ಧಿಗಳು, ಪ್ರಥಮ್​ನ ಹುಚ್ಚಾಟಕ್ಕೆ ನೋ ಕಮೆಂಟ್ಸ್ ಎನ್ನುತ್ತಾ, ಇಡೀ ವಿವಾದದಿಂದ ದೂರವೇ ಉಳಿಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಪ್ರಥಮ್ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡೋಕೂ ಇಷ್ಟವಿಲ್ಲ ಎನ್ನುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಹರ್ಷಿಕಾ ಪೂಣಚ್ಚ ಅಭಿನಯದ ಚಿಟ್ಟೆ, ವಿಶೇಷವಾಗಿ ಗಮನ ಸೆಳೆದಿರುವ ಚಿತ್ರ. ಹರ್ಷಿಕಾ ಗೃಹಿಣಿಯಾಗಿ ನಟಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಅನ್ನೋದು ಚಿತ್ರದ ಹೈಲೈಟ್. ಮೈಯ್ಯೆಲ್ಲ ಚಿಟ್ಟೆಯಂತೆ ಬಣ್ಣ ಹಚ್ಚಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದ ಹರ್ಷಿಕಾ ಅವರ ಫೋಟೋ ಎಲ್ಲರ ಗಮನ ಸೆಳೆದಿತ್ತು. 

ಚಿಟ್ಟೆ ಚಿತ್ರದ ಮೇಲೆ ಹರ್ಷಿಕಾ ಭಾರಿ ಭರವಸೆ ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಆ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆಗೆ ತಕ್ಕಂತೆ ಚಿಟ್ಟೆಗೀಗ ಗೋಲ್ಡನ್ ಟಚ್ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿದೆ. ಚಿಟ್ಟೆಯ ಹಾಡುಗಳ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆಗೆ ಸ್ವತಃ ಗೋಲ್ಡನ್ ಸ್ಟಾರ್ ಗಣೇಶ್ ಬರುತ್ತಿರುವುದು ವಿಶೇಷ. ಅದನ್ನು ಖುಷಿಯಾಗಿ ಹೇಳಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ಹರ್ಷಿಕಾ, ಚಿಟ್ಟೆಯಂತೆಯೇ ಆಗಿಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಹಾಡುಗಳ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಇದೇ 25 ರಂದು.

ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಕೋವಿಡ್ ಸಂತ್ರಸ್ತರಿಗೆ ನೆರವು ನೀಡುವುದರಲ್ಲಿ ತೊಡಗಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿರೋ ಹರ್ಷಿಕಾ ಪೂಣಚ್ಚ, ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿಹಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಗ್ಲಾಮರಸ್ ಗೊಂಬೆಯಾಗಿ ಪ್ರತ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಹರ್ಷಿಕಾ ಇತ್ತೀಚೆಗೆ ಭೋಜ್‍ಪುರಿ ಸಿನಿಮಾದಲ್ಲಿ ನಟಿಸಿರೋ ವಿಷಯ ಗೊತ್ತಿದೆ ತಾನೇ.. ಆ ಚಿತ್ರದ ಟ್ರೇಲರ್ ಹೊರಬಿದ್ದಿದೆ.

ಭೋಜ್‍ಪುರಿಯ ಹಮ್ ಹೈನ ರಹಿ ಪ್ಯಾರ್ ಕೇ ಅನ್ನೋ ಚಿತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಗ್ಲಾಮರಸ್ ಗೊಂಬೆಯಾಗಿ ಮಿಂಚಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಹರ್ಷಿಕಾ. ಟ್ರೇಲರ್ ನೋಡಿದರೆ ಅದೊಂದು ರೊಮ್ಯಾಂಟಿಕ್ ಕಾಮಿಡಿ ಲವ್ ಸ್ಟೋರಿ ಎನ್ನಿಸುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಪ್ರೇಮನ್ಯು ಸಿಂಗ್ ಎಂಬುವವರು ನಿರ್ದೇಶಿಸಿರುವ ಆ ಸಿನಿಮಾ, ವಿದೇಶಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಬಹುಪಾಲು ಚಿತ್ರೀಕರಣವಾಗಿದೆ.
