Actors Akul Balaji and Santhosh Aryan on Friday got summons from the Central Crime Branch regarding the ongoing probe of Kannada film industry's connection with the drugs scandal.

Akul Balaji runs a resort near Doddaballapur and Viren Khanna who is one of the accused in this case, is said to have organised many parties in Akul's resort. So, he has been summoned by the CCB to appear before them on Saturday. Santhosh is also known for organising many parties and events and is said to be friends with many of the accused. So, he has also got summons in this case.

Akul who was in Hyderabad on Friday when he got summons, has said that he will be fully cooperating with the CCB regarding this and will be appearing before them on Saturday. Santhosh has also said that he doesn't have any connection with the scandal, but have friends who are accused in the case.

A FIR has been filed against actor and popular television host Akul Balaji by the police for breaking the Coronavirus lockdown rules. The police have accused him of running a resort despite the lockdown rules prohibiting it.

He owns a resort in the Lagumenahalli village of Doddaballapur taluk by the name of Sunshine Resort. It is alleged that he let out the resort on rent for a wedding during the current lockdown period. Some people from Thanisandra in Bengaluru had hired the resort. 

Over 20 people are said to have arrived at the resort at around midnight yesterday. Local villagers were shocked to see so many strangers in the village. Since the scare about the Coronavirus spreading is in the news they feared the arrival of so many people at once. The villagers themselves informed the police about the activities of these people and filed a complaint. Based on this complaint, the Doddaballapur Rural police registered a FIR. 

Apart from Akul Balaji, his business partner Srinivasa Subramaniyam has also been booked. They have been charged under the National Disaster Management Act and the IPC.

If sources are to be believed then actress Shruthi is likely to win the third season of 'Big Boss' being aired in Colors Kannada. The show was launched two week and the contestants have settled in the house in the last two week. Shruthi has been accepted as the captain on the first week by the inmates of the house as she is elder than everybody in the house. In last two weeks Shruthi is looking like she is adjusted to the house and will emerge as the winner.

The other reason behind this doubt is, for the last two years Vijay Raghavendra and Akul Balaji had won the shows and this time there are chances that an opportunity would be given for a female to win the show. So, it is being said that Shruthi has all the chances of winning the show.

The show has just started and it will be another three months left for the completionl. Who finally wins is yet to be seen in the coming days.
