The Karnataka Chalanachitra Academy is all set to honour the National Award winners on the 06th of April at the Chamundeshwari Studio in Bangalore. The honour includes awardees Rukkoji Rao (for his book on Dr Rajakumar), Ram Reddy (for 'Thithi' which won the best Regional Film award), O P Srivatsava (for his documentary on Girish Kasaravalli called 'Life in Metaphors') and Jacob Verghese (for his documentary called 'Dribbling with their Future').

The event is organised at 10.30 AM in the morning and Dr Jayamala, Tara, KFCC president Sa Ra Govindu, Girish Kasaravalli, T S Nagabharana, KCA chief Rajendra Singh Babu and others will be present at the occasion.

Journalist Rukkoji's book on Dr Rajakumar which is titled as 'Rukkoji's bn Dr Raj to be released on Oct 29th is all set to be launched on the 29th of October at the Kuvempu Kalakshetra in Bangalore.

Rukkoji who has worked as a journalist in many newspapers and magazines have been writing the book for the last one decade and the book was completed one year back. The details about Dr Rajakumar is in two huge volumes and apart from articles, there are more than 1000 photographs in the book.

The book will be released by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Ambarish, Parvathamma Rajakumar, KPCC president Parameshwar will be present at the occasion.
