The third edition of 'Big Boss' is all set to be launched on the 24th of October. The hugely popular reality programme will be aired in the Colors Kannada channel from 24th from night 9 to 10.

This time the shooting for the reality programme will be held at a specially constructed house at the Innovative Film City. Already the construction is over and the channel is finalising the contestants for the show. Earlier, there were speculations that Sudeep won't be hosting the show, instead Upendra has been roped in as the host of the show. However, the news turned false and Sudeep not only confirmed that he is hosting the show but also said participated in the promo shoot.

After that there were many speculations about who would be contesting in the programme. There were rumours that Rakshith Shetty, Satish Neenasam, Huchcha Venkat and others might participate in the show. However, all the three declined about being the part of the show.

Darshan has clarified on his Facebook and Twitter accounts that he is not ready to attend any reality shows. But if one of the two conditions is met, he may consider it. This comes on the speculation and requests from fans for him to be guest on TV shows. In a statement that makes no bones about why he does not even want to promote his films on reality shows, Darshan makes things clear.

I would like to Clarify Few things related to my Presence in Reality Shows. I 'll make it to the show only if few Conditions of mine are met It Must be of some help to My producer or Should be used for Charity. Only when it coincides with 1 of these, I 'll surely make it Some Might Quesn, Why I made it to Maja Talkies. Only reason was Srujan. Thoogudeepa and Lokesh Prodns are the same. No Difference for me 

Outcome of Maja Talkies pgm was used for Charity. Only Srujan and Me know abt that. I am here to entertain and do something good. That's it Have been receiving Messages related to the same from Few years. I hope it's clarified well with all My fans and Frens Keep smiling

Darshan and Srujan Lokesh in Mumbai

Darshan has once again ruled out handling reality shows or hosting a show on television. Rumours started a couple of days ago after an alleged claim by a TV channel that he has agreed to host a show for them. Darshan has clarified that he is not into reality shows and would not do it.

This is not the first time that Darshan has clarified that he will not be part of any television shows. Every year for the last few years Darshan's name has been dragged into the issue and there is tremendous pressure on him to accept to host a TV show. But Darshan has stayed away from it. Even though he has accepted to be a guest on a couple of shows, he has made it clear he will not host a TV show.

Darshan's first producer MG Ramamurthy, who produced Majestic, has welcomed Darshan's move. Speaking to Chitraloka, he said, "I know him from a very long time. He is not the kind of person who is after money. It is secondary to him. TV channels are ready to pay him whatever he asks. But he has not agreed. If you remember film producers like us had protested against reality shows being hosted by film stars and it affects the film industry. There has been no response from other stars. But Darshan has made it clear that he will not participate. This shows his concern for film industry and film producers. Even without asking he has taken this decision and we welcome it."

Huchcha Venkat the contestant who was at the centre of all activities in Bigg Boss season three is out of Bigg Boss. He will be eliminated from the contestant today. Though he was the most popular contestant, his elimination was not surprising. He made a big mistake by assaulting another contestant Ravi Moorur one day earlier. This incident has happened in front of Sudeep

This is the first time a contestant has been thrown out for violence. the other contestants were not really happy with the eccentric behaviour of Venkat all these days.

Is Huccha Venkat really out of Bigg Boss or he is out of the house for one or two days has to be seen!

KFCC, President SA Ra Govindu along with Office bearers spoke up the concerns regarding the status of Kannada film producers.

In the press meet, speaking on behalf of the producers, Sa Ra Govindu showed his concerns regarding the diminishing numbers of theatres across the state.

He also highlighted the points pertaining the reality shows damaging the Kannada film viewership, which is causing a major damage to the producers, distributors and Kannada films. Sa Ra Govindu, requested each and every entertainment channel to purchase the rights of atleast 25 movies per year.

The major concern of this press meet was reality shows like big boss, weekend with Ramesh, kick and other shows which are hosted by Kannada film superstars like Sudeep, Ramesh and shiva Rajkumar respectively. he requested the stars to support the Kannada film industry and to stop hosting these shows. He openly requested Sudeep to listen to the problems of the producers and come out of the Bigg Boss.

Sa Ra told, this is now a request and if not accepted we will take a future course of action after few days.

In the press meet, Producer A Ganesh told let's all go the BIGG Boss house and protest there. For this everyone accepted.
