ಆ ಚಿತ್ರ ರಿಲೀಸ್ ಆಗಿ 15 ವರ್ಷ. ಕರಿಯ ಸಿನಿಮಾ ರಿಲೀಸ್ ಆದಾಗ ಕರಿಯ ಪ್ರೇಮ್ ಆಗಿ, ಎಕ್ಸ್‍ಕ್ಯೂಸ್ ಮಿ ಪ್ರೇಮ್ ಆಗಿ, ಜೋಗಿ ಪ್ರೇಮ್ ಆಗಿ.. ಚಿತ್ರಗಳ ಮೂಲಕವೇ ಸ್ಟಾರ್ ಆದವರು ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕ ಪ್ರೇಮ್. ಅವರಿಗೀಗ ಚಿತ್ರರಂಗಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದ 15ನೇ ವರ್ಷದ ಸಂಭ್ರಮ.

ಕರಿಯ ಚಿತ್ರದಿಂದ ನನ್ನ ಚಿತ್ರಜೀವನ ಆರಂಭವಾಯಿತು. ಆ ಚಿತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಅವಕಾಶ ಕೊಟ್ಟ ನಿರ್ಮಾಪಕ ಆನೇಕಲ್ ಬಾಲರಾಜ್, ನಟ ದರ್ಶನ್ ಹಾಗೂ ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞರು ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಧನ್ಯವಾದಗಳು ಎಂದಿರುವ ಪ್ರೇಮ್, ಕರಿಯ ಚಿತ್ರ ಹಿಟ್ ಆದ ದಿನಗಳನ್ನು ನೆನಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಈಗ ದಿ ವಿಲನ್ ಚಿತ್ರ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಪ್ರೇಮ್‍ಗೆ ಶುಭವಾಗಲಿ.

The shooting for  Shivarajakumar-Sudeep starrer 'The Villain'  was completed recently. The stage for the audio release of the film is set and the songs of the film will be released in Dubai on the 17th of August. The cast and crew of the film will be attending the audio release in Dubai on 17th August.

If everything had gone right, then 'The Villain' was supposed to release on the auspicious day of Varahamahalakshmi festival. Now the release is doubtful and the film is likely to be postponed for September.

The film is being produced by C R Manohar and Arjun Janya is the music composer. 'The Villain' is being directed by Prem and the film stars Shivarajakumar, Sudeep, Amy Jackson, Srikanth, Mithun Chakraborty and others. 

The shooting for Shivarajakumar-Sudeep starrer 'The Villain' has almost completed except for four songs. Meanwhile, the audio rights of the film has been sold for a whopping 1.08 crores.

Anand Audio has bagged the audio rights of the film and has paid 1.08 crores for the audio rights, which is said to be the highest in Kannada film industry.

Well known Punjabi singer Daler Mehndi has sung a song for Shivarajakumar and Sudeep starrer 'The Villain'. Arjun Janya has composed the songs for the film.

This is not the first time that Daler Mehndi is singing a Kannada song. Earlier, the well known singer had sung for Komal starrer 'Namo Bhootatma' which was directed by choreographer turned director. The song which starts as 'Paisa duddu money money' was written by Hridayashiva, while music director Emil had composed music for the film.

'The Villain' is being written and directed by Prem, while C R Manohar is the producer. The film stars Shivarajakumar, Sudeep, Amy Jackson, Mithun Chakraborty and others in prominent roles.

"I am not a king. I am king maker," says Prem's character in the film DK. This is true of his film career. The director who creates huge films with big stars is once again in the lead actor's role. This will be like actually playing king rather than king maker but trust the showman to bring life to whatever he does in films. DK has nothing to do with politicians DK Shivakumar or HD Kumaraswamay. But the theme is about two politicians and an election.

The film revolves around four major characters; Prem, Chaitra, Sharat Lohitashva and Shobraj. Prem is DK who is a street smart tapori who does not lose a bet on anything and everything. Sharat plays a politician who believes his daughter Subbulakshmi is his lucky charm in the political career. Shobraj enters the fray as an opponent in the election. It is DK who is behind this. The film progresses with DK and Subbulakshmi trying every trick to outsmart each other. As luck would have it the two have to fall in love and marry. So what happens to the election? Is is the two older men or the DK-Subbulakshmi pair that springs a surprise? It is not just one surprise as the film's plot goes from one twist to another turn.

The director Vijay Hampali has handled the narrative well. Prem has used a different body language. He impresses with his acting talent. Chaitra gets the chance of a lifetime and charms her way into the audience's hearts. Shobraj and Sharat Lohitashva show why they are the best character actors in Kannada. Music by Arjun Janya is passable. There is good cinematography as well. It is not a stylish film but a colourful venture which is raw and playful.

'Jogi' Prem starrer 'Gandhigiri' was launched last month and the team has silently finished the first schedule of the film in and near Mysore.Prem, Ragini,

Prem, Ragini, Arundhati Nag and others had participated in the first schedule of the film and the team will be taking a little break as Prem is planning to fly abroad for scouting locations for his directorial venture 'The Villain'. Once back from abroad, the second schedule of the film will go on floors.

The film is being directed by Prem's protege Raghu Hassan and is being produced jointly by Vedamurthy and R J Studios.

Actor turned Jaggesh who is busy with the post-production work of his latest film 'Melukote Manja' on Monday afternoon gave a commentary for 'Jogi' starrer Prem 'DK'. This is not the first time that Jaggesh is giving a commentary for a film and earlier, he had given a similar commentary for Sharan starrer 'Victory'. This time the commentary is 12 minutes long and will be used through out the film.

Jaggesh dubbed his voice at the Akash Recording studio and director Prakash Hampali and actor 'Jogi' Prem was also present at this occasion.

Shivarajakumar starrer 'Jogi' which was released on the 19th of August in 2015 has completed 15 years. The film was which was released on the auspicious day of Varamhalakshmi Festival was a huge hit.

To mark the occasion, fans of Shivarajakumar has released a Common Display Poster (CDP). Many celebrities from the Kannada film industry have released the CDP through their social media accounts and has wished the team for the glorious 15 years. Apart from the CDP, fans have also released a new trailer of the film.

Meanwhile, Prem is all set to come live in social media today evening and talks about the film.

After 'Nenapirali' Prem, director turned actor 'Jogi' Prem is all set to join the league of six pack abs actors. Sources say, Prem is busy building six pack abs for his latest film 'Bum Bum Bholenath'.

Prem's 'Bum Bum Bholenath' which is being directed by Nagireddy was supposed to be launched on the 25th of February. However, the film got delayed due to various reasons. When asked about the real reason for delay, the film's producer Suresh says the film got delayed because of the Workers Union's strike.

But sources say the real reason behind the film's delay is 'Jogi' Prem is busy building six pack abs for his role in the film. Prem plays the role of a police officer in the film and wants to be sporting a new look. As it takes some time to sport a new look, he has requested the producers to postpone the film for 20 more days.

Meanwhile, the trailer of the film has already been shot and even the songs composing for the film has been started.

One of the most popular and celebrated directors of sandalwood, Jogi Prem who recently delivered the biggest hit - The Villain, featuring two superstars, Century Star Shivarajakumar and Kichcha Sudeepa, who shared the silver screen for the first time, is presently in Mumbai on the sets of Hindi movie - Dabangg 3.

It was none other than Prem's wife, Rakshita Prem who recently made it public that her husband is accompanying Kichcha Sudeepa to the sets of Dabangg 3 starring her favourite actor Salman Khan. She had even expressed disappointment that Kichcha chose not to take her to the sets of the movie, to which Kichcha smartly replied saying he did not wanted to trouble her!

Further, adding more to his wife's disappointment, Prem has shared the photo of his along with Salman Khan from the sets of Dabangg 3, saying that it was a great experience meeting both Salman Khan and Kichcha Sudeepa on the sets. They are very passionate about their work and explained their committed towards achieving efficiency in the making of the film, he says.

Director Prem who has finished many schedules of his latest film 'The Villain' is busy finalizing the songs along with the film's music composer Arjun Janya. Prem himself has tweeted that he is busy finalizing the songs of the film and teaser will be released soon.

'The Villain' is being directed by Prem after a six year gap. His last film as a director was Shivarajakumar's 100th film 'Jogaiah'. 'The Villain' stars Shivarajakumar, Sudeep, Shruthi Hariharan, Srikanth, Mithun Chakraborty and others. 

The film is being produced by C R Manohar and Arjun Janya is the music composer. The shooting for the film has already been held in Bangalore, Shimoga, Bangkok, London and other places.

Noted producer and distributor Kanakapura Srinivas was on a fiery mode on Tuesday, as he came down heavily upon director Prem, producer’s association and did not even spare the regional film censor board.

While referring Jogi Prem as a 'thop’ director, Srinivas accused him of not returning his Rs.10 lakhs which he had given it as advance 14 years ago to the director. 

Further, he went on to allege that producer's association is good for nothing in these matters. He also said that he would not work with director Prem even if he would offer him crores of rupees in return.

Insofar as film distribution is concerned, Kanakapura Srinivas revealed that he faced a lot of difficulties during the distribution of Rajinikanth starrer 'Kala’. “If I face a similar situation during the release of ‘2.0,’ I will stage protest in front of theaters with more than 40 thousand supporters. I will not seek anyone's support but will fight it all alone,” said Srinivas.

He also expressed dissatisfaction against regional  film censor board members who he says are certifying Kannada films with 'A’ while similar films in other languages are being awarded with U/A certificates.

Actor Jogi Prem's new film 'DK' is all set to release on the 13th of February and silently the first look for his his new film Bum Bum Bholenath has been released. One of the main highlights of the film is, Prem will be seen in the role of a police officer for the very first time in his career. The photo shoot predicts Prem playing the role of a rebel police officer in the film. The film is being produced by Suresh Babu of 'Ane Pataki' and directed by Nagireddy. Arjun Janya scores the music. 

'Bum Bum Bholenath' has been in the news for the last one year. 'Power Star' Puneeth Rajkumar had released the title of the film in a function almost a year back. Earlier, Srinivas was supposed to direct the film, while Ilayaraja was said to be the music composer of the film. Now Nagireddy and Arjun Janya has replaced both of them.

Director turned singer Prem has sung an emotional song for Chiranjeevi Sarja's new film 'Singa' recently. The song has been written by V Nagendra Prasad and has been composed by Dharma Vish.

The shooting for 'Singa' is almost complete except for songs and fights. The team intends to complete the remaining portions of the film soon and release it in the coming months.

'Singa' is being produced by Uday Mehta under Vasavi Productions and Vijay Kiran is the director. The film stars Chiranjeevi Sarja, Aditi Prabhudeva, Ravishankar and others in prominent roles
