ವಿಷ್ಣುವರ್ಧನ್ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಬಾಯಿಗೆ ಬಂದಂತೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ್ದ ತೆಲುಗು ನಟ ವಿಜಯ್ ರಂಗರಾಜು, ಕಣ್ಣೀರು ಹಾಕುತ್ತಾ.. ಕೈಮುಗಿದು.. ತಲೆಬಗ್ಗಿಸಿ ಕ್ಷಮೆ ಕೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ನಾನು ದೊಡ್ಡ ತಪ್ಪು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ ಮಾಡಿದ ತಪ್ಪಿಗೆ ಶಿಕ್ಷೆ ಅನುಭವಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ನನಗೆ ಕೊರೋನಾ ಬಂದಿದೆ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಮಾಸ್ಕ್ ಹಾಕಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ ನಿಮಗೆ ಮುಖ ತೋರಿಸಬಾರದು ಅಂತ ಅಲ್ಲ. ನಾನು ಆ ದಿನ ನಾನು ವಿಷ್ಣು ಅವರ ಕೊರಳಪಟ್ಟಿ ಹಿಡಿಯಲೂ ಇಲ್ಲ.

ಹಾಗೇನಾದರೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದರೆ, ಯುನಿಟ್ ಹುಡುಗರು ಅವತ್ತೇ ಸಾಯಿಸಿಬಿಡ್ತಾ ಇದ್ರು. ಏನೋ ಫ್ಲೋನಲ್ಲಿ ಹೇಳಿಬಿಟ್ಟೆ, ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟುಬಿಡಿ, ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬರಿಗೂ ಕಾಲಿಗೆ ಬಿದ್ದು ಕೇಳಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೇನೆ ಎಂದು ಅಂಗಲಾಚಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ವಿಷ್ಣು ಅಭಿಮಾನಿಗಳು, ಪುನೀತ್, ಸುದೀಪ್, ಉಪೇಂದ್ರ ಹಾಗೂ  ಭಾರತಿ ವಿಷ್ಣುವರ್ಧನ್ ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಕ್ಷಮೆ ಕೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಆದರೆ, ಕನ್ನಡ ಚಲನಚಿತ್ರ ಕಲಾವಿದರ ಸಂಘ ಆತನ ಕ್ಷಮೆಯನ್ನು ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಲು ಸಿದ್ಧವಿಲ್ಲ.

ಆತನಿಗೆ ತೆಲುಗು ಚಿತ್ರರಂಗದಲ್ಲಿ ನೀಡಿರುವ ಎಲ್ಲ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯಗಳನ್ನೂ ವಾಪಸ್ ಪಡೆಯಬೇಕು. ಆತನ ಸದಸ್ಯತ್ವವನ್ನು ರದ್ದು ಮಾಡಬೇಕು. ಆತನಿಗೆ ಯಾರೂ ಅವಕಾಶ ಕೊಡಬಾರದು. ಆತನನ್ನು ತೆಲುಗು ಚಿತ್ರರಂಗದಿಂದಲೇ ಬಹಿಷ್ಕರಿಸಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಆಗ್ರಹಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಕನ್ನಡ ಚಲನಚಿತ್ರ ಕಲಾವಿದರ ಸಂಘದ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ರಾಕ್ಲೈನ್ ವೆಂಕಟೇಶ್.

ಈ ಕುರಿತು ತೆಲುಗು ಚಲನಚಿತ್ರ ಕಲಾವಿದರ ಸಂಘಕ್ಕೆ ಪತ್ರ ಬರೆಯುವುದಾಗಿ ತಿಳಿಸಿರುವ ರಾಕ್ಲೈನ್, ಈ ಕುರಿತು ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ತೆಲುಗು ಚಿತ್ರರಂಗದ ಕೆಲವರ ಜೊತೆ ಮಾತುಕತೆಯನ್ನೂ ಆಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಈತನಿಂದ ಎರಡು ಚಿತ್ರರಂಗಗಳ ನಡುವಿನ ಬಾಂಧವ್ಯಕ್ಕೂ ಧಕ್ಕೆ ಎಂದಿರುವ ರಾಕ್ಲೈನ್ ವೆಂಕಟೇಶ್, ಇಂತಹವರು ಕ್ಷಮೆಗೂ ಅರ್ಹರಲ್ಲ. ಅವರನ್ನು ಕಲಾವಿದರ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯಿಂದಲೇ ಹೊರಹಾಕಬೇಕು ಎಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ 27ರ ಭಾನುವಾರ, ನವದೆಹಲಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಷ್ಣುವರ್ಧನ್ ಮೇಣದ ಪ್ರತಿಮೆ ಅನಾವರಣವಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಅದರ ಜೊತೆಯಲ್ಲೇ ದೆಹಲಿಯ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಸಂಘದ ಆವರಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಡಾ.ವಿಷ್ಣುವರ್ಧನ್ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಉತ್ಸವವೂ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಸುಮಾರು 6 ಅಡಿ ಎತ್ತರದ ಸಾಹಸಸಿಂಹ ಡಾ.ವಿಷ್ಣುವರ್ಧನ್ ಅವರ ಮೇಣದ ಪ್ರತಿಮೆ ಅನಾವರಣಗೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದೆ.

ಇದೇ ಮೊದಲ ಬಾರಿಗೆ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕವನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಹೊರಗೆ ಅದೂ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರದ ರಾಜಧಾನಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕನ್ನಡ ಕಲಾವಿದನೊಬ್ಬನ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಉತ್ಸವ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿರುವುದು ವಿಶೇಷ. ರಾಜ್ಯದಿಂದ ಸುಮಾರು 500ಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ವಿಷ್ಣು ಅಭಿಮಾನಿಗಳು ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. 

ಭಾರತಿ ವಿಷ್ಣುವರ್ಧನ್ ಆ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸುವುದು ಇನ್ನೂ ಅಂತಿಮವಾಗಿಲ್ಲ. ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಉತ್ಸವದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಷ್ಣುವರ್ಧನ್ ನಟಿಸಿರುವ ಚಲನಚಿತ್ರಗಳ ಫೋಟೋ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನವೂ ಇರಲಿದೆ.

1999, ಜನವರಿ 1ರಂದು ಹೊಸವರ್ಷದ ಉಡುಗೊರೆಯಾಗಿ, ಒಂದು ಅದ್ಭುತ ದೇಶಪ್ರೇಮದ ಕಥೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದರು ಎಸ್.ನಾರಾಯಣ್. ಆ ಚಿತ್ರ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆಯಾಗಿ 20 ವರ್ಷ. ವಂದೇಮಾತರಂ.

A stranger in the late Vishnuvardhan's press meet not only stunned the superstar but has remained an enigma for 25 years now. The mystery about this strange person is still unsolved. This incident happend during the launch of the film Niskarsha which is re-releasing now. 

The film directed by Sunil Kumar Desai, was launched on 12th May 1993. The location was Mayura Restaurant in Cubbon Park. When I reached the venue for the press meet, I noticed that many of the top police officers of the city had gathered there. 

Vishnuvardhan was playing the the hero and this was the first home production for Davanagere's cop-turned-actor BC Patil. Patil is now a popular politician. 

For Sunil Kumar Desai, Mayura Resturant was a favourite for film muhuratha. His earlier movie was launched at the same place.

The film had gone on to become a milestone and Desai saw it as a lucky charm.

The then Bangalore police commissioner Chandulal, IPS, clapped for the first scene. Shankar Bidari, IPS, Kempaiah and other police officers were present.

After the launch, a press pressmeet was organised. All the assembled journalist surrounded Vishnuvardhan and started firing questions. Vishnuvardhan answered all of them. All of a sudden some questions started coming from the last row. Vishnuvardhan was so impressed with these questions that he started answering each of them. 

Even journalists kept quiet as the questions from the same person and answers by Vishnuvardhan became more and more interesting. Most concluded that the person asking the questions was a new journalist. After some questions the person suddenly left the pressmeet before it was concluded. All the other journalists were surprised by this strange behaviour. 

Normally journalist do not walk out in the middle of a press conference. Vishnuvardhan too was surprised and sent his assistant to check on that person.

The assistant went outside Mayura Resturant and noticed the mystery person get into the driver's seat of an auto rickshaw, put on the khakhi shirt and driver away. 

When Vishnuvardhan was informed about this he was shocked. Even more shocked were the journalists. 

Sometimes Auto rickshaw drivers have more intelligent questions to ask film stars as they keenly follow Kannada films, more than anyone else. The mystery person was never seen again and no one knows who he is.

Strange but true. Anu Prabhakar has said that she woke up with a refreshing dream in which she was acting with Vishnuvardhan and the film was being directed by Sudeep. The actress has explained her dream to Sudeep "KicchaSudeep I had a wonderful dream this morning! You were directing and Dr.Vishnu sir and I were acting.... You and I were on cloud nine to see and be with him! A dream that will never be a reality...yet brought a huge smile on my face just as I woke up!". 

Incidentally Vishnuvardhan and Sudeep acted together in the Nagatihalli Chandrasekhar directed film Matad Matad Mallige.

The Bhumi Pooja for Dr Vishnuvardhan Memorial will be held on the 15th of September and Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa will be laying foundation for the Memorial virtually.

On Wedneday, the late actor's wife Padmashri Bharathi Vishnuvardhan and son-in-law Aniruddh met the Chief Minister and informed about the Bhumi Pooja of the actor's Memorial. Bharathi Vishnuvardhan also requested the CM to lay a foundation stone for the Memorial virtually, for which the CM agreed.

The Bhumi Pooja event for the Dr Vishnuvardhan Memorial will be a low profile one and will be attended by few special invitees.

Chitraloka.com who has organised many photo exhibitions about the Kannada film industry in the past will be holding a photo exhibition on Dr Vishnuvardhan, during the Dr Vishnuvardhan National Festival on August 27th.

The Dr Vishnu Sena Samithi has organised a day-long national festival in New Delhi on August 27. The event is organised in association with Karnataka Sangaha, New Delhi and Kannada and Culture Department, Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce and the Karnataka Chalanachitra Academy.

The photo exhibition features hundreds of rare photographs of Dr Vishnuvardhan in a career spanning four decades. The photo exhibition will showcase various moods and photos of Dr Vishnuvardhan.

This is the first time Chitraloka Editor KM Veeresh is organizing huge photo exhibition in New Delhi. In 2006 Chitraloka had organised a Photo Exhibition of 2650 photos starting from Sathi Sulochana to Mohini and in 2009 they had displayed 3000 photos in the Amrutha Mahotsava festival held at Palace grounds. Both these exhibition has been recognized by Limca Book of Records. In the exhibition held at Mysore during Dusara festival in 2006 Chitraloka had displayed 1000 Photos. in 2007 Dr Rajkumar photo exhibition was displayed at Lumbini gardens and in 2012 Chitraloka had displayed 600 Photos of Ambareesh during his 60 year birthday.

Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa on Tuesday laid the foundation for Dr Vishnuvardhan Memorial online. Vishnuvardhan Memorial has been pending for the last 10 years and in spite of many Governments coming forward, work got delayed due to various reasons.

Finally, the Dr Vishnuvardhan Memorial work has started with the Bhumi Pooja at Halalu village on the outskirts of Mysore. While, Chief Minister performed the Bhumi Pooja virtually in Bangalore, the family members of the late actor was present at the site.

Yediyurappa said that Vishnuvardhan remains an inspiration to the people of Karnataka with his virtues. 'The work for the Memorial is already late. So, I urge the concerned authorities to complete the work at the earliest. Already Rs 5 crores have been initially released by the Government and the remaining will be released as the work progresses' said Yediyurappa.

Darshan has lent his support to the Dr Vishnuvardhan National Festival taking place in New Delhi. In a series of tweets he has said that he is also a fan of Vishnuvardhan and everyone knows how much Vishnuvardhan loved his fans. Darshan praised the efforts of all the fans who were organising the festival on such a huge scale. 

Darshan said that though Vishnuvardhan was not physically present now the love of his fans has not diminished one bit in all these years. He has said that Vishnuvardhan is one and only Lion of the industry and signed off wishing the fans again. The national festival for Vishnuvardhan is the first of its kind for any actor and taking place in the Delhi Kannadiga auditorium in Delhi organised by Vishnu Sena Samathi (VSS). It is being attended by over 500 Vishnuvardhan fans from Karnataka and a large number of dignitaries from the fields of films and arts.

Dr Vishnuvardhan's fans including Dr Vishnu Sena Samithi has held a protest today afternoon to oppose the shifting of his Memorial to Mysore. The protest will start from Town Hall at 3 PM and the fans has decided submit a memorandum to the Chief Minister in this regard.

Recently, there was a rumour that Dr Vishnu's memorial will be shifted to Mysore and the Government has already taken a decision in this regard. However, the fans have been opposing the shifting of the memorial from Abhiman Studio to Mysore. So, the fans have decided to stage a protest against this and thousands of fans are expected to participate in this protest.

The Dr Vishnu National Award was conferred to actor-director Ramesh Aravind on Wednesday at Ravindra Kalakshetra in Bangalore. 

Dr Vishnu Sena Samithi has organised a three day theatre festival in Bangalore from September 18th to 20th on the occasion of Dr Vishnuvardhan's birthday. During the inaugural ceremony of the festival, the award was conferred to Ramesh by veteran director T S Nagabharana.

Directors S Narayan, V Nagendra Prasad, Ravi Srivatsa, VSS president Veerakaputra Srinivas, actor Mandya Ramesh and others were present during the occasion.

Actor-director Ramesh Aravind has been selected for the Dr Vishnuvardhan National Award for the year 2019. The award is given by Dr Vishn Sena Samithi and this year the award will be presented to Ramesh Aravind on the 18th of September (Vishnuvardhan's birthday).

Vishnuvardhan and Ramesh share a special relationship and the two actors have acted together in films like 'Apthamitra', `Deepavali', 'Vishnusena' and others.

A day-long festival to celebrate the life and works of Dr Vishnuvardhan will be held in New Delhi on August 28. The official announcement of the festival and the scheduled programmes was made today in Bengaluru. The Dr Vishnu Sena Samiti is organising the event in association with Karnataka Sangha, New Delhi, Kannada and Culture Department and the Karnataka Chalanachitra Academy.

The programmes start at 6 am on August 28 and continue till midnight. Nearly 600 people including artistes will go from Karnataka to New Delhi to participate in the event. Samiti president Veerakaputra Sinivas is the brain and strength behind the national festival. This is the first of its kind national festival being organised for any film star. Even eight years after his death, Vishnuvardhan continues to inspire. 

Apart from Karnataka and other parts of India, several dignitaries from across the world are participating in the festival. The programmes in the festival include the unveiling of a statue of Vishnuvardhan, showcase of his films, seminars on his contribution to Kannada culture, a photo exhibition, entertainment programmes and felicitation of people involved in public service and giving away of the award constituted in Vishnuvardhan's name. 

Sandalwood lyricist Dr Nagendra Prasad has written a song for the occassion which will be unveiled at the funciton. Dr Vishnuvardhan National Award will be conferred on senior actor Shivaram. A book, Shimavalokana, on the cultural contribution of Vishnuvardhan's films will be released.

Various dignitaries from the art, culture, political, film and other fields will attend the various programmes at the festival. These include KRV's TA Narayana Gowda, Manu Baligar, V Nagendra Prasad, Dwarakish, S Narayan, Dinesh Babu, Bhargava, Bhagawan, Anant Kumar, HM Revanna, S Shivaram, Dinesh Gundurao, Sa Ra Govindu, SV Rajendra Singh Baub, Thara, BC Patil, Srinagar Kitty, Shobraj, Sadhu Kokila and many other actors.

The various programmes are organised at the Karnataka Sangha building which is near the Sir M Vishvesvaraya Metro station, New Delhi. 

The family of Dr Vishnuvardhan has decided to celebrate his 69th birthday at his residence in Jayanagar. The celebrations will start from Sunday morning at 9.30 AM.

Earlier, Dr Vishnuvardhan's family used to celebrate his birthday in Abhiman Studio where the late actor was cremated. The place was in dispute and the family had asked for an alternative land which the Government has granted in Mysore. However, it will take some time for the memorial to be built and the family has decided to celebrate the late actor's birthday at his residence.

With Vishnuvardhan's family absent, the fans has decided to celebrate the birthday in Abhiman Studio itself.

It's almost 10 years since actor Vishnuvardhan has passed away. But the birthday celebrations of the late actor still continues as usual. This year also, the fans of Dr Vishnuvardhan celebrated his birthday in Abhiman Studio in a grand style.

Till three years back, Dr Vishnuvardhan's family used to celebrate his birthday in Abhiman Studio where the late actor was cremated. The place was in dispute and the family which were very much upset by the whole issue decided not to visit Abhiman Studio from then on and has been celebrating his birthday separately at his residence. 

In the family's absence, Dr Vishnu Sena Samithi and other fans association has been celebrating the actor's birthday every year on September 18th at Abhiman Studio. Like previous years, hundreds of fans from various parts of Karnataka participated in the birthday celebrations. Many health related camps were organised at the venue also.

The fans of legendary Kannada actor Dr. Vishnuvardhan have organised a unique three day 'Dr Vishnuvardhana Natakotsava' between September 18 and 20 at Ravindra Kalakshetra, celebrating their favourite actor's birthday this year.

The event will be graced by filmmakers - T S Nagabharana, S Narayan, actors such as Ramesh Arvind, Mandya Ramesh and lyricist Nagendra Prasad and others. 

Popular plays such as Chora Charanadasa, Ooru Suttaru Hanumappa Horage, Sharifa, Vesha and Gulabi Gang will be presented during the three day event which will also honour and award deserving personalities on the occasion.

Nagarahavu is the first Indian film, which used CGI (computer generated image) Technology for recreating Dr.Vishnuvardhan. In simple form, CGI Technology is Head replacement.

The dupe of character will be used for performance then head replacement will be done by Digital head, that is CGI. It's is one of the most difficult work to do, we have to match body action, face expressions and voice of the character. In making Dr.Vishnuvardhan it was more challenging because Director wants to make similar getup, which used in his previous films, as it will connect to the audience immediately. In our film, Vishnu Sir's presence is about 9 mins in the climax.

It took 32 months to create 9 mins. VFX Studio has to work on each and every frame. Till now, in media no one attempted to use this technology, because it consumes more time and money. Even after completing, satisfaction is impossible. Here Mukuta Effects- 2 times national award winner for Eega and Bahubali took the challenge to create Dr. Vishnuvardhan and worked day and night.Director has provided his time to approve quality and do proper shoots. Producer invested 15Cr for this particular 9 mins of Dr.Vishnuvardhan. According to the producer, in this 15Cr he can bring any big star from any language to place in this particular role. But he took challenge to bring back Dr.Vishnuvardhan and create history in Indian cinema.

Director asks the Indian film makers to create any legend. These r the works Hollywood creators are talking about. In this movie one hour VFX is made wIth The budget of 9cr. Producer Sajid Qureshi spent 24Crores only on VFX. The producer says the figures are genuine and won't misguide the film makers with incorrect numbers. Producer wants more makers to come forward for making good projects.

Producer Sajid Qureshi is expecting this year's National and International awards for his VFX attempt.He is also happy to know that,Telugu Superstar Nagarjuna was inspired with Nagarahavu and wants to bring back his later Father, Akkineni Nageshwar Rao on screen through CGI technology.

If everything goes as planned, Diganth-Ramya starrer 'Nagarahavu' which is said to be the 201st film of Dr.Vishnuvardhan is likely to be released on the 14th of October.

Earlier, the film was said to release in the Dasara season. Now it is being said that the film is most probably to release on the 14th of October along with Dhananjay starrer 'Badmash'.

'Nagarahavu' stars Diganth, Ramya, Saikumar and others in prominent roles. Vishnuvardhan has been created by digital head technology. Gurukiran has composed the music of the film, while H C Venu is the cameraman. Veteran director Kodi Ramakrishna has scripted the film along with directing it.
