Journalists turning film producers, directors, script writers is not new to any film industry. Here is the latest addition but as an actor! S Shyam Prasad is a legal reporter in a Bengaluru newspaper and also a film journalist who writes about Kannada films. He is also a film critic reviewing Kannada films. A surprise on Saturday evening at the launch of Yograj Bhat produced and Krish Joshi directed Parapancha was Shyam's photo in the trailer.

Film sources said Bhat asked him to essay the small character in the film. Shyam has also written dialogues for Garshane and C/oFootpath2 earlier. Journalists who have acted and made a mark as actors in recent years are RG Vijayasarathi and Yethiraj.

Chitraloka editor KM Veeresh is also a Kannada film producer and distributor.

Four Kannada films Parapancha, Last Bus, Tarlenanmaklu and Tili Neeru are releasing next Friday. And there is already a shortage of theatres as films released during the last few weeks like Rathavara, Masterpiece, Killing Veerappan and Kathe Chitrakathe Nirdeshana are doing well. 

Will a lot more films in the pipeline new releases are struggling for theatres. The existing 4 films will continue in all the main centres and therefore the new 4 films next week will not get main theatres either in Bengaluru or other district centres distributors say. All these films will have to make do with only multiplex screens.

Actor-director Venkat is very much upset with the movie 'Parapancha' being directed by Krish Joshi. Recently Venkat had not only sung a song for the film, but also had acted in a song. Then there might arise a question whether why should Venkat be upset over the film.

Venkat who is always against item songs in films, is upset that there is an item song in the film in which he has acted. Venkat is not only upset, but also is insisting the team to remove the item song or remove his song from the movie.

Venkat says the film team had not informed him about the item dance. 'I had specifically asked whether there is any item song or vulgar dialogues are there in the film. But the production team had told nothing about it. Later I came to know that there is an item song in the film, for which I am very much upset. I have laid a condition before them and let's see what action does the team take' sayd Venkat.

Diganth Back To Yogaraj Bhatt With Parapancha - Exclusive

Krish Joshi directed Parapancha starring among others, Diganth, Ragini Dwivedi, Anant Nag and Ashok, has passed the censor test. The film has obtained U/A certificate without even a single cut suggested.

After the Censor, the film is 2 hours and 18 minutes long. The audio of the film was released recently and got good response in the market. Three of the songs are already a hit. Sources said that the release date has not been fixed but Parapancha will be in theatres anytime in November. The film is made under the Yograj Movies banner.

Yogaraj Bhat is spoiling his reputation by lending his name to such films. 2016 may still be young but Parapancha is by far the worst film so far. It may carry the distinction for sometime to come. The film lacks clarity, focus, depth and anything else that makes a film worth while.

Whether the film was spoilt during the scripting itself or during shooting is not known. But it is no doubt it is spoilt. It looks like 8-10 episodes of various serials was mixed up and Parapancha was created. 

For the mundane to the silly, the film has it all. None of the characters have depth. Almost the entire film takes place in a bar (it is also supposed to be a restaurant but none of them seem to be eating or even ordering anything). Diganth plays a supplier who figures out and solves problems of various people drinking in the bar.

The most irritating character is that of Rangayana Raghu. There are enough dialogues for 5-6 films in Parapancha and Rangayana Raghu speaks half of it. Watching Parapacha will make you pity yourself.

Diganth starrer 'Parpancha' is scheduled for a January release and the audio of the film is already out. Meanwhile, the team has roped in actor-director Venkat who is fondly known as Huchcha Venkat to sing a song for the film.

Yes, Venkat has sung a philosophical song for the film on Monday. Venkat has not only sung, but also will be acting in the song. The team has planned a one day shooting for the film and the shooting will be held on Tuesday.

Apart from the shooting of the song, everything is ready and the team is planning to edit the song as soon as possible and release it in the month of January.

ನಮಗೆ ಯೋಗರಾಜ್ ಭಟ್ಟರ ಮೇಲೆ ನಂಬಿಕೆ. ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಅವರು ಹೇಳಿದ ಕಥೆ ಬಹಳ ಇಷ್ಟವಾಯ್ತು. ಅವರ ಜೊತೆ ಈ ಹಿಂದೆ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಕಥೆಯಲ್ಲಿನ ಫ್ರೆಶ್‍ನೆಸ್ ಇಷ್ಟವಾಗಿ ನಿರ್ಮಾಪಕರಾದೆವು ಎನ್ನುತ್ತಾರೆ ಹರಿಪ್ರಸಾದ್ ಜಯಣ್ಣ.

ಕಥೆ ಇಷ್ಟವಾಯ್ತು. ಕ್ಲೈಮಾಕ್ಸ್ ಚಿತ್ರೀಕರಣದ ವೇಳೆ ನನ್ನ ನಿರ್ಧಾರ ಸರಿ ಎಂದು ಪದೇ ಪದೇ ಎನ್ನಿಸಿತು. ಇದು ವಿಭಿನ್ನವಾದ ಕಥೆ ಇರುವ ಫ್ರೆಶ್ ಸಿನಿಮಾ. 6ನೇ ವಯಸ್ಸಿನವರಿಂದ 60 ದಾಟಿರುವ ವೃದ್ಧರವರೆಗೂ ಈ ಸಿನಿಮಾ ಇಷ್ಟವಾಗುತ್ತೆ ಎನ್ನುವುದು ಇನ್ನೊಬ್ಬ ನಿರ್ಮಾಪಕ ಹೇಮಂತ್ ಪರಾಡ್ಕರ್ ವಿಶ್ವಾಸ.

ಪ್ರೇಕ್ಷಕರಿಗೂ ಅಷ್ಟೆ, ಕಲಾವಿದರು ಹೊಸಬರಿದ್ದರೂ, ಭಟ್ಟರ ಮೇಲೊಂದು ವಿಶ್ವಾಸ. ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ತಕ್ಕಂತೆ ಹಾಡುಗಳು ಸೂಪರ್ ಹಿಟ್. ಸಿನಿಮಾ ಹಿಟ್ ಆಗುವ ಸುದ್ದಿಯನ್ನೂ ಬೇಗನೇ ಹೇಳುವಂತಾಗೋಣ.
