Kaada Beladingalu produced by Bengalooru Company and directed by B. S. Lingadevaru has won two awards. Film got the Best Social Concern state awards which were announced on Friday in Bangalaore. Well known Jogi also known as Janaki got the best Story writer award.
The jury committee headed by well known film director and writer Nagathihalli Chandrashekhar and other members had felt that the film conveyed the true and shocking picture of the present scenario of the rural areas in a realistic fashion.
The film has been able to penetrate deep into the psyche of its viewers by its cold and real narration which can make a deep impact on the influence of rapid globalisation encroaching our rural areas' one of the Jury member told "Chitraloka' portal much in appreciation.
Kada Beladingalu is produced by chitraloka.com editor K.M. Veeresh, K.N.Siddalingaiah and B.S. Lingadevaru. Kaada Beladingalu’ is the first attempt of the team which has set larger goals to achieve. The people involved in the team would bring in their creative contributions to support the ventures.
Kaada Beladingalu was recently selected for viewing in the Oceanic Film Festival and has been hotly discussed in the art film circuit from the day it was shown in a special preview for select audience. The film's story is written by Janaki, while journalists Uday Marakkini and Jogi have written the script and dialogues of the film.
The film's main artists are Ananya Kasaravalli, Lokanath, Daththanna and others. H.M.Ramachandra is the cameraman of the film, while the music of the film is composed by Rajesh Ramanath.
