VIJAYA
RAGHAVENDRA
Vijaya
Raghavendra thanks the producers Dushyanth and Santoshkumar for giving
him in an opportunity learn the new kick boxing style that is called
'Mua Thai' for one month in Bangkok. This form of art comes out naturally
on the screen he says with smile and determination. In the olden days
the Army was using this martial art for protection since there were
no weapons. First we get to know about the safety measures.
Regarding the risk in action Vijay says `I was prepared for it and
safety kept me going. A doctor and medical van was around all the
time. We had taken Dr. Satyan Puttur and he was there for sometime
but when his need came he was not there in Bangkok. A scratch on the
head, for hand and for leg received minor injuries because all the
portions were real for the reel said Vijay Raghavendra. After the
muscle tension we moved to the song portion and then again on the
last day of shoot, we shot again the action portion.
Mr
Pang was the coordinator for me in Bangkok. They are very nice people
and for me it is a good experience. Before going to Bangkok I had
learnt gymnastics from Mr Kamath in Jayanagar. Then I moved for my
lifetime opportunity. The film 'Sri' 40 percent shooting will be held
in Bangkok and its surroundings say Vijaya Raghavendra.
