‘Senior supporting actress the popular Umasri has ditched me and charged Rs.15000 unnecessarily for dubbing to her portion in ‘Ranga (SSLC) Kannada film. I had made payment for three days of her appearance to shoot and when I asked for dubbing she demanded another 15000 rupees. No one so far has charged for dubbing for their own portion in the history of Kannada cinema. Umasri has no concern for the Kannada film industry. She is not in favor of the producer who takes all the pains. Producer N.Kumar continued to hurl charges on the noted actress Umasri.

When she cannot improve and support the film industry then how can she be helpful in politics? She is the MLC and I hope she does not spoil the political atmosphere. I am not worried over making payment. I am only worried because she asked payment for her own dubbing. This is a new culture she is setting in. This is foolish too says Kumar.

I had in fact told director of my film Yogaraj Bhat that she is not required for my film. But he insisted on including Umasri. I did not go to the spot of shooting when Umasri was shooting for three days. Because I knew that she is not conducive to the producer. 

Finally she ditched me and insisted on payment of Rs.15000 for her own dubbing portion that is just 2 hours.

Now you tell me how the Kannada producers survive with all the odds on one side and artiste trouble adding to it asks Kumar.
