IS SPB STUPID?

Well known Kannada films music director with 10 years stint and 75 films to his credit out of frustration commented that S.P.Balasubramaniam is stupid. Rajesh Ramanath was speaking the media persons at Green House restaurant on Sunday evening. He was reacting to the suggestion made by the top singer that the original creator should get the credit when his music is redone in any language. SPB made this humble request in one of his television program ‘Edhe Thumbi Hadidhenu’ in ETV Kannada. This was by and large acceptable as he made the right announcement. Top music director S.A.Rajkumar sometime ago openly criticized those use his tunes in other languages. He asked those who re-use it to at least express gratitude by giving credit in the title card of the film. 

The original creator fully deserves the credit but not the cash because a producer would have given the entire rights of a film.

Rajesh Ramanath who is all these days very cool in his approach and work has given many straight hits. In fact he had done only seven remake films out of 75 films. He has pretty good name too. But why did he say so to a gigantic and humble personality like S.P.Balasubramniam? It is nothing but sheer carelessness and head weight.
