Naveen Mayur Clarifies

Following is the content of the letter Naveen Mayur has sent it to chitraloka.com regarding the artciles which we had published in this site. Naveen gave a call to chitraloka and informed that shortly he will call the Press Meet and explain what happened in `Love Lavike' and in `Hello' film.
 
 

It is only in Kudlu Ramakrishna's HELLO film, I was dragged to controversy for no fault of mine. It is not proper on my part to blame senior director like Kudlu but he himself has accepted the shortcoming of his production, for which he expressed deep concern for giving me the different dates and more dates etc., originally it was agreed mutually that he will take 12 days for 
talking portion, 6 day for songs, 2 days for dubbing, total 20 days, so far I have worked more days but still Kudlu wants another 7 days for talking and 8 days for song and one day for dubbing, I am ready to co- operate and complete the film at the earliest. For these extra days, we informed Kudlu to give whatever he feels like, the same will be accepted gracefully by us, even if it happens to be Re. 1/-

Regarding the instance in Kudlu's Hello that you have mentioned that took place in dubbing theatre. I am working on other project which takes maximum of my time, sometimes even up to early morning 5 and hence I requested Kudlu's Assistant Nagaraj to keep my dubbing timings after 12 noon, which I kept up for the first 2 to 3 days of dubbing. 

For your reference you can ask Kudlu, on many occasion dialogue sheets are not available and pilot is not there. Still I could manage to do the dubbing. On the day of this instance during dubbing of a particular scene I needed dialogue sheet or pilot but unfortunately both were not available, here I had to speak 6 to 7 languages in a Pizza Corner and Assistant wanted me to do in any manner but I was very firm that I will do only what is right as I don't want to take any chances by misspelling the words. We had some heated arguments on this and he did not give me the due respect, which he should give to an artist and started abusing in uncivilized manner and he pushed me and I was about to fall on the ground and since it was dark, I needed a support to hold on, but my hands touched his face. He created a very big scene in the theatre and all of us went out of the theatre to inform Kudlu who was sitting outside. In the beginning Kudlu was also upset with me and allowed Nagaraj to speak, as he liked. 

There also Nagaraj compared me with top star of Hindi film abusing me in a filthy language and also my family. By then my father who was climbing the staircase heard everything and brought the things under control by informing Kudlu and his Assistant that under what circumstances they were working. Sensing the seriousness of the situation, Kudlu informed Nagaraj to apologize with us, Nagaraj apologized and after words everything was normal and I completed the dubbings as per schedule. 

Next day morning, a friend/ relative of Nagaraj spoke to me in a different manner threatening me, that they are going to harm me and my face for which I retreated and informed them that if they have any guts they should come in person and do whatever they wanted and not no phone. 

Since my father was not available I approached my friend Chandru and we both went to producer K.Manju's Office where Kudlu and Nagaraj were called and Nagaraj was fired by Mr.K.Manju and also kudluji. Nagaraj again apologized there and promised he would not repeat these mistakes again.
