The bad end unhappily, the good unluckily. That’s what tragedy means – Says British playwright Tom Stoppard.

The young chap the Chaco faced Naveen Mayoor, the hero of ‘Lovelavike’ Kannada film has given sleepless nights to producer and director of the film in just his second film. A small role in ‘Sparsha’ has catapulted this youngster to hero slot in ‘Lovelavike’ but now he is kicking the ladder he has climbed after offers pouring in. `Lovelavike’ team persons have the following complaints to make on Naveen Mayoor.

He is a moody. A phone call used to keep his mood off.
In Sakleshpur he declined to appear for close up shots with the heroine. He has asked the director Kumar whether he is doing a sex film or a Malayalam film. The perturbed one was dance director Madan and Harini. Never in there career kept such intentions while choreographing the dance.

In total the upset mood of Naveen Mayoor used to gobble the reels. It seems he likes the taste of reels! Nearly 15000 to 20000 feet of the reel gone waste only because of Naveen Mayoor. In a police station shooting the director got irritated with Naveen Mayoor’s behaviour and shouted at him.

It is reported Naveen’s acquaintance to the film has changed when did a role in ‘Parva’. For him there is no other director other than Desai.

He suggested particular shots to come like his taste to the cameraman B.C.Gowrishanker and asked him to adjust his camera angle. Senior cameraman Gowrishanker controlled this nonsense from Naveen Mayoor.

The Nakra of Naveen continued even at the dubbing stage. His father used to yell at assistant directors when Naveen used to sit idle because of technical adjustments.

He was in a hurry to complete ‘Lovelavike’ and Mumbai offer is waiting for him is what understood. Unit pesons told chitraloka Naveen used to tell `Why should I bother even if there is no Kannada film for me. I have got offers from other languages and I will go there'.

Naveen has to recall what he told when got this offer of hero in ‘Lovelavike’. He had told on the sets when he replaced actress Prema’s brother Aiyappa that he is the luckiest person on earth.

Mr Naveen Mayoor – The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy.
