In a major development to what Chitraloka had exposed recently about the porn film screened in Tribhuvan theatre in Bangalore, serious development has taken place. The President of Kannada Film Producers Association Mr Basanthkumar Patil found out porn film producers and warned them about their films. Eleven of the sex film producers accepted their films and surrendered assuring that they will not make these type of films in future.

The law enforcing authority has also been requested to deal seriously in case porn films are screened in any theatres in Karnataka.

We at Chitraloka not consider this as a major breakthrough. We feel happy that the rot is eliminated. We are also getting appreciation from the entire Kannada film industry for exposing on the crime.
