AVINASH FEELS PERTURBED
Here Is What He Says In His Own Words

I am deeply pained by the way, in which I have not only been misused as an artist but also for having been dragged into a controversy that I have no reason to be part of.

I was approached for this film just as if I would be approached for any other film by people I have known who claimed to be producers of the film. I played the part of an inspector in the film which I was told was a murder mystery. I have done many small budgeted mainstream films in the past and we shot at Waheeda Rehman's studio which is a reputed place with co-actors who have been with me on many mainstream films and hence had no clue that it would be such a film.

I feel betrayed and am angered by the way people I have known have misused me and talked me into doing such a film. This is however never ever happened to me in the past and shall never happen again. I have understood that I will have to really go through the credentials of a director/producer before accepting films. It is really sad that such producer/directors exist in our industry and I therefore, appeal to the concerned authorities that stringent action be taken against them.
