S.A.Govindaraju the second hostage freed
 Dr.Rajkumar
release is only after Veerappan’s demands are met but
it is sure and Dr.Rajkumar is safe informed S.A.Govindaraju
who surfaced in Bangalore – the second hostage to come
out from Veerappan captivity.
Looking pale
and pensive S.A.Govindaraju soon after coming to Bangalore
early in the morning rushed to Smt.Parvathamma Rajkumar’s
house in Sadashivnagar. He attended the press meet and
then left to meet his aged mother Smt.Lakshmamma.
Firstly Govindaraju
made it clear that had he been physically fit he would
not have come. The increase in heartbeat and blood pressure
variation in me forced by ‘Baava’ – Dr Rajkumar to approach
Veerappan for my release immediately stated Govindaraju
in an exclusive chat with Chitraloka.
One day my
heart beating increased. Dr.Rajkumar placed on my heart
the photo of Sri Raghavendra Swamy, the beating came down
and I recovered. There has been no difficulty in living
there in case one is fit physically added Govindaraju.
Dr.Rajkumar
is healthy and cheerful and occasionally he gets the knee
pain. When we were in jungle Dr.Rajkumar used to take
care of us said Govindaraju collecting drops of water
in his eyes.
On every occasion
emissary R.R.Gopal came to have negotiations, we were
kept in dark. The discussion used to take place in our
absence. Before I returned I heard Veerappan telling Gopal
that the five extremists in Chennai prison and 51 TADA
detainees have to be released. Answering another question
Govindaraju added that there is likelihood of another
negotiation with Veerappan and he hopes it will be a final
and successful one.
S.A.Govindaraju
confirmed that Nagappa has escaped from Veerappan clutches
and only in the next morning everyone was aware of his
escape. From this daring escape of Nagappa the brigand
was angry for sometime. The Nagappa coming out in such
a daring way has also caused a hindrance to the negotiations
observed Govindaraju.
