The month of June is notable for the success of ‘Gowramma’ and ‘Shastri’ Kannada films. The film ‘Majic Ajji’ had a wrong release even though it was very well made. The previous month releases 3Kha completed 100 days in a remote place while Akash, Varsha and Karnana Sampathu completed 50 days screening.

    EVENTS AND DEVELOPMENTS  The idea floated to give permission to shoot 50 percent has irked many. 
• Gowramma Kannada film super hit success was celebrated. 
• Lyricist and music director Kalyan married Aishwarya on June 26 at Vishal Bhavan (earlier the marriage was fixed for June 10). 
• The first television serial ‘Pa Pa Pandu’ completed 1000 episodes. 
• Prem announced that he is going to become hero. 
• ETV has announced annual film awards from 2005. 
• Roads in the name of Gubbi Veeranna and Lokesh have been approved.

•  PVR cinema declined to accommodate O Gulabiye. KFCC objects to it. 
• Yogaraj Bhat director of state award winning ‘Mani’ name was missing in the dubbed version of it in Tamil. Gautham was the name seen in the title card. Bhat complained to KFCC and directors association. 
• Producer and team of Nanna Love Madthiya demanded Kalpana theatre by protesting in front of the theatre. 
• A threatening phone call to Gowri the newcomer saying that she is Ramya has created chaos.
