July Monthly Melange

The month of July is notable for various developments taking place. On the one side Dr.Rajkumar was honored for his 50 years of service to Kannada film by Karnataka government, the Shanthi - single character Kannada film bagged the guinness honors, actress Thara bagged the national award for her performance in Haseena, while two other national honors also came for Haseena, the P. Seshadri directed Beru and bagged the best regional film award, the state awards for 2005-2006 were also presented in this month by chief minister N.Dharam Singh.

• Shanthi ; gets certificate from Guinness Book of world records.
• Karnataka State film awards presented at Ambedkar Bhavan by chief minister.
• Navabharathi 100 days, Gowramma, Aham Premasmi 50 days screening.
• Shivrajkumar birthday celebration. He announces to produce a film and help the sea shore people with education.
• Actress Thara visited the house of chief minister Dharam Singh and Karnataka icon Dr.Rajkumar to get blessings after winning the award at the national level.
• T.S.Nagabharana is reappointed as member of CIFEJ children film committee.
• Girish Kasaravalli announces his next film - Naayi Neralu.
