 The
74th birthday of Dada Saheb Phalke award winner was celebrated
with pomp and gaiety at his residence and at the public
function organised by Shivarajkumar sena Samathi at Poornapragna
playground at Sadashivanagar in Bangalore on Wednesday
morning.
 The
Karnataka Chief Minister S.M. Krishna and his wife Prema
Krishna and Karnataka Pradesh Congress President Allam
Veerabadrappa arrived at the residence of Dr. Rajkumar
and wished the matinee idol on the occasion. Bangalore
city police Commissioner  H.T.
Sangliana, Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce President
Tallam Nanjunda Shetty, Thomas D’souza, Sa. Ra. Govind,
Bhagwan were present at the residence. There was very
tight security in and around of Dr. Rajkumar residence
and also at the public function.
Dr. Rajkumar
arrived at Poornapragna playground in Sadahivanagar and
cut a huge cake of 74 KGs to match his age. The Balagangadaranatha
Swamaji was present. Blood donation camp was also organised
there. Dr. Rajkumar, Smt. Parvarthamma Rajkumar and sons
lighted the lamp to mark the beginning of the celebration
of icon’s birthday.

a diamond crown.
 The
fans thronged in large number patiently heard the anxious
moment of Dr.Rajkumar address. I have grown up from your
Ashirwad and did not expect so much of affection. Service
to humanity is service to God. There is no parallel to
this Service. Lord Hanumanth by rendering service to lord
Sri Rama became Chiranjeevi. Dr.Rajkumar then sang a devotional
song Sevakana Mado maruthi…..
