Vishnuvardhan, Ananthnag‘Indo-Hollywood banner’s maiden sandalwood production ‘Preethi Prema Pranaya’ celebrated 100 days function at Badami House in Bangalore on Saturday evening. It was rain of applauds for Kavitha Lankesh the director of the film. Either the background poster on the stage nor the speeches made remembered the producers who are far away. Mano Murthy the music director of the film who was supposed to take part in this function did not turn up because of an operation he had to undergo in USA. Except this announcement no thanks giving was heard from anyone for the producers.

Sudharani, Gayathri Ananth, Bharathi vishnuvardhan, Jayanthi, Anu KK, Kavitha LankeshAfter the traditional lighting the lamp by Jayanthi and Bharathi there was some novelty in the way the celebration was held. The first session with Jayanthi, B.Sarojadevi, M.S.Sathyu, Vishnuvardhan, Ramesh Aravind and Vijaya Raghavendra on the dais gave away the mementoes to artistes. Gautam on behalf of Mano Murthy received the mementoes two times - once on behalf of the producer and then again for the music direction.

In the second session the key artistes of ‘Preethi Prema Pranaya’ – Bharathi Vishnuvardhan, Ananthnag, Prakash Rai, Sudharani, Anu Krishnakumar and Kavitha gave away the mementoes to technicians of the film.

M.S. Satyu, Bharathi Vishnuvardhan, B. Sarojadevi, Vishnuvardhan, RameshKavitha disclosed that she is embarrassed with so many ‘Hoguluvike’. Ananthji asked me whether this would run in theatres successfully. But this day has come I am ‘kush’. Despite of the troubles poured on this film after three months delay this film ran for 100 days and I am happy for that. I had no problem from the producers she did not forget to add.

What was not appreciable was that the top respected artistes Bharathi Vishnuvardhan and Ananthnag also forgot to thank the producers (NRI’s) who have poured money for the making of this film. In the banner behind the stage it was seen `Indo-Hollywood present', but there was no names of the producers!

A party on this 100 days celebration was arranged at Century Club in Bangalore. From 9 pm it went on till 11.30 pm on Saturday.
