The way in
which the Press Club of Bangalore invited the New Year
2003 was filled with fun and frolic. The members, invitees
and lots of children enjoyed the dawn of New Year with
great enthusiasm.
Health, Famliy
Welfare and Information Minister Sri Kagodu Thimmappa
released the PCB Diary. Thanks to Mr. T Venkatesh, Publisher
and Editor of Abhimini Prakashana for printing the Club
diary so attractive was also present at the dais.
 Top
stars of Kannada cinema Sudeep, Ramesh, Shivadwaj, Avinash,
Malavika, Ruchita Prasad, singers Nandita, Hemanth graced
the PCB and wished everyone happy and prosperous new year.
Sudeep who creates sensation especially to the kids sang
a song Usire Usire… from his film Huchcha and Ramesh spoken
the lines from his hit film ‘America America’. Ramesh
rushed from Mangalore to PCB after completing his shooting
of `Kaththegalu Saar Kaththegalu.
 The
highlight of this years new year party at PCB is the presentation
of mementoes to children who took part in various cultural
activities.
Master Tejas
the wonder kid thrilled the spectators with hilarious
skits. Baby Megha daughter of renowned film journalist
Udaya Marakini and Gayathri handed over the bouquet to
Tejas with smile.
N. Chandru’s
Anupama Melody makers thrilled the PCM members and their
family members with their orchestra.
The children
especially on December 31 stepped to the song number of
various Kannada, Telugu and Hindi films songs.
The Press
Club of Bangalore office bearers were present inviting
the guests and members.
There was
splendid arrangement for snacks, food and drinks. `Roti
Ghat’ made wonderful mouthwatering preparations.
