The
highly potential lyricist and music director K.Kalyan
observed the 57th Independence day with the blind children
of Ramana Maharshi Blind School near Ragi Gudda in Jayanagar
Bangalore.
It was a touching
function. Top actor Ramesh Aravind added the needed boost
to the function.
Kalyan had
in this year celebrated the ‘Valentine Day’ in the house
of first love poet of Kannada literature K.S.Narasimhaswamy.
He celebrated the mother’s day with S.Janaki the profound
singer of South India and now he opened the eyes of those
who are blind despite of having vision.
For
nearly 100 blind children of Ramana Maharshi Kalyan arranged
for three hours musical program and took the responsibility
of teaching music for two of the students for one year.
As a matter of fact this social work has peeped into the
head of Kalyan as he wanted to do something novel and
noteworthy on the occasion of his parents married life
coming to 50 years.
In the two
hours of musical treat blind boy Srikanta is really
the fast shining youth in music. There was an all round
applause for Srikanta for his song Edhe Thumbi Hadidhenu….,
of Dr.G.S.Shivaradrappa poem. The cute girl Jyothi quick
in her senses was the cynosure of all eyes.
On the children
demand Ramesh Aravind sung the national anthem for which
all the students stood up to sing in chorus.
Sweets packets
and rose flowers were distributed to all the children
by Kalyan on this occasion.
Chitraloka
congratulate Kalyan spirit and enthusiasm in this lovely
work. A small advice. What you had coined on the stage
on 15th August – Hinduthva Ullavarige Andhatva Illa’ is
not appropriate. You got the point.
