Noted distributor of films H.D.Gangaraj has got elected as the President of 51st annual elections to the Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce on Saturday evening. He has defeated his nearest rival Basanthkumar Patil by a huge margin of 216 votes. H.D.Gangaraj received 650 votes while Basanthkumar Patil got 434 votes.

The complete team of humble newly elected President of KFCC H.D.Gangaraj got elected to the new office bearers. Obviously Gangaraj is happy on his election. Basanthkumar Patil accepted the defeat in a sportive manner.

Noted producer Sa.Ra.Govindu procured highest votes for the Vice President post from the Producers sector. He defeated another producer Shailendra Babu.
 

It was a hectic day at the Film Chamber office on Friday. The voting for the new office bearers began at 2 pm and ended at 6 pm. This time both electronic and manual voting pattern was adopted. 

Smt.Parvathamma Rajkumar voted for the first time in electronic voting machine along with her son Raghavendra Rajkumar.

In all 1118 votes were polled. The break up is Producers 587, distributors 349 and exhibitors 182 voted at the polling booth of the new film chamber of commerce building. The voting was smooth and cordial.
