Top actress of Kannada cinema Tara’s dream has materialized. The purpose with which she caught hold of four times Swarna Kamal award director Mr. Girish Kasaravalli has at last given the fruits for this actress. Tara had a close fight with actress Aiswarya Rai and Konkon Sen.

Haseena film directed by Girish Kasaravalli has also bagged best costume award for Isharat (Sister of Story writer of Haseena Banu Mustaq) and the best family welfare film. 

At the regional scene young director P. Seshadri’s Beru gets the Best regional cinema awards once again. Seshadri’s Munnudi and Athithi also bagged National and State honor in the past.

Recently Tara is also the producer of Haseena that is based on the atrocity on Muslim women. Mr. Saif Ali Khan bags the best actress award for the film Hum Tum

TARA Thrilled
This is a marriage gift to me says Tara who turned emotional when chitraloka contacted her over the telephone. I am happy and exited. The whole film and my role was very strong. After hearing the news of competition for the national honor I was apprehensive. There is no glamour in the film and it is not one women show also. I must thank Mr. Girish Kasaravalli and I.M. Vittal Murthy the consulting producer of the film. As a matter of fact Tara expected an award at the national level for the role in Kanooru Heggadathi. Sitting with her husband Mr. Venu Tara also thanked the media on this occasion.
