The major news at the fag end of the year is that the two top actresses of Kannada cinema Ramya and Rakshita are working together in a Kannada film 'Thananam Thananam'. This is produced by N.M.Suresh of 'Excuse Me, Chappale and 7'o Clock'.

Promising young director Kavitha Lankesh heads the megaphone. Kavitha is breaking silence after award winning 'Preethi Prema Pranaya'. Senior director Rajendra kumar Arya is joining hands with Kavitha Lankesh in screenplay and dialogues. She is adding extra mileage to her new film by roping in two top stars of Kannada cinema. This pairing of Rakshita and Ramya also clears the rumor that both the heroines were at loggerheads.
