WHERE IS ACTOR, MP SHASHIKUMAR?
Elli hogiruviri Mahanubhava Shashikumar avare

Report by - CNB                                                           Date - 03rd September  2000

When the entire Karnataka State is dipped in sorrow in the last few days as the release of Dr.Rajkumar from Veerappan is turning tough all tom dick and harry is found for their touching feelings but not this dancing hero turned Member of Parliament Shashikumar. He is busy arranging for Television serial in an undisclosed place it is discovered.

At a crucial juncture the tinsel town hero has not shown a little care of his stature (Is he aware of it?) and importance is harshly discussed. Getting scant respect is not at all difficult Shashikumar avare. While Ambarish is seen flying from Karnataka to New Delhi and to Chennai frequently this hero Shashikumar is nowhere found. As we all know he is very busy with his after 7 pm activities, is it not his duty to make his face available at key places to extend moral support.

Meeting the Prime Minister along with other Members of Parliament from Karnataka is an idea that does not strike Shashikumar. Is it ignorance of Carelessness?  How about submitting a strong memorandum with signature from 28 MP’s of Karnataka to Prime Minister and Home Minister of the Country? Will it be wrong? A class II student gets such ideas in this fast
generation. Why it did not strikes MP Shashikumar is very disgusting.

O.K. the Karnataka Chief Minister S.M.Krishna is hell bent on not getting the Central Government help. You know the thespian, richly admired person of this State Karnataka Ratna Dr.Rajkumar is struggling in jungles. At least what is Central Government thought running could have been made available very timely. It is a person like you and Ambarish could do as the other Members of
Parliament have no concern as their family, their bank balance is important for them, not the people’s worries once they are elected.

Forget about doing work at the National level Shashikumar, have you once came to the Karnataka Film Workers Federation office and enquired about the thousands of hungry stomachs. Is it is not your duty as an actor to give your wafer thin share for the poor section? You could have raised funds at the National level too to meet the hungry and angry workers.

Even late realization is a welcome
