The Kannada origin Arjun Sarja who is very famous in Tamil films as Arjun ever since 'Mudalvan' super hit is back again in Kannada after a sabbatical. Arjun son of veteran Kannada actor Shakthi Prasad and son in law of senior actor Rajesh is coming back to his roots. Arjun had in fact produced a Kannada film 'Thutta Mutha' for which his brother Kishore Sarja did the direction.

Arjun is playing the revolutionary leader 'Sangolli Rayanna' title role for producer of 'Olu Saar Olu' Anand Appugol. Appugol after the success of a comedy riot again ventured to make a film called 'Thunta' but that was shelved by director Prem. But 'Thunta' director Om Prakash Rao made a film starring Balaji brother of V.Ravichandran.

Popular director of Kannada cinema Naganna is directing this film. In the 60's a film with a title 'Kranthiveera Sangolli Rayanna' was made in Kannada.

Arjun the macho hero who later acted in many meaningful films has last acted in Kannada film 'Sri Manjunatha' for producer Jayasri Devi
