Madan Mallu Plays Villain

The reel life ‘hero’ Madan Mallu plays villain in real life. Three Kannada artistes Rashmee, Monica and Adarsh are facing threat on their life of acid attack and murder by Madan Patel alias Madan Mallu who is an actor, director, producer besides being an orchestra owner and active politician.

For no mistakes the artistes are facing threat on their life. Madan Mallu admitting that he had committed 11 murders and not to hesitate to pour acid is something startling for the entire film industry. The functioning of this type of anti social elements is a bad patch to the Kannada film industry. Madan Mallu’ son Mayoor is also an actor. He is doing in ‘Mani’ Kannada film as hero that is shooting in Udupi. In case his son is threatened like this? 

This is the time to condemn such attack and severely punish the tormentor who has given self -proclamation and admitted his crime. The point to be noted is that how can Madan Mallu stay in public life when he has agreed that he had committed 11 murders?

Chitraloka is pained with this development and brings to the surfers the e-mail sent by Rashmee and also give the versions of Adarsh and actress Monica.

Dear Sir,

This is Rashmee here. Regarding the "Ok Sir Ok's" project. According to the dates mentioned in the agreement was from  April 14th 2003 to may 14th 2003,but then they had taken extra 4 more days, but still I didn't mind working since I wanted to  finish my work.

After the shoot I asked the director (dayal) when would they be shooting the other remaining song? The director told that, it would be only after the editing and even I am not sure of it.  Since he was not sure and since no one had told me when was the shooting even when I had asked. I signed another project with MR.A.R.RAJU (Ajanta Raju) which would be likely to start from JUNE 6th 2003.Suddenly MR.MADAN PATEL (Madan Mallu) called up on 21st may 2003 at around 3.30 in the afternoon and says that he needs dates from JUNE 9, 10th, 11th,' I told him since I am committed to another movie I would ask my producer or the director for allowing me on these mentioned dates and if he allowed me I would surely come. 

Mr Madan at once said that, how could I agree to another film without asking my permission. I told MR MADAN that since no one informed me I had agreed to this project, and I had also told him that I had asked the director for the dates and he had failed to give. When I said this, MADAN sir started abusing the director. Then I told him to ask Mr A.R. Raju whether he will allow me. Madan sir said that, he won’t be calling anyone but, if I fail to attend the shoot on the mentioned dates he would be pouring 'Acid' on my face and he won’t allow me to do in any other movies in future. Hearing to this I got really scared and told my mother about what he was speaking. My mother took the phone and asked Madan sir why he had told me that he would throw acid on me. Then Madan sir relied that, he would not only stop throwing acid but he would also 'Murder' me. Since he had already done 11 murders and he would not hesitate to do another. My mother got really scared and she started weeping very badly, so I took the phone from her and told that I would really try my level best to come for the shoot. Then he told that he would call up the other day and I had to confirm him whether I would come to the shoot or no and if it was no he said, he would be taking further action. Previously he had also threatened MR. AADARSHA (DUMBEE) that he would be pouring acid on him if he had not attended the shoot on the given date.

Actually this is the 1st time I have ever faced a person of this sort. Even if he had wanted dates he should have spoken politely and in a decent manner. I never knew that anybody would speak to an artist so roughly and in a threatening way. Even though I would finish the balance song, I would I ever go and face such a person after so many threatens.

Sir, I would really want you to help me out in this and I would like to request all the press officials to help me out in this and solve this problem.

Adarsh of ‘Dhumbee’ in a telephonic chat has confirmed that he has also received threats on his life like how Rashmee and Monica faced threats.
 

Actress Monica says -
I have been frequently insulted. Madan Patel asked me to perform like by debut film ‘Joot’. Then he told me that I should like Siri and Dhamini type roles. Monica cannot do like them and I would do on my own I have informed. For this I got scolding. Then I used to very small size dresses.  Skirt pant and shirt were offered. Already I have spent lakhs he used to say. Aishwarya and Karishma wears like this. Why not you? He persisted. Avaranne karesi madsi I shot back. After this he told me that he would pour Acid and murder me also. I informed my Daddy. She is not professional on the sets was the complaint he made with my father. I was told that I would appear in 4 songs. But I have to be satisfied with one and half song. For everything the mistakes were picked and in one case I told it is the director who told me. Who is the director to tell he used to ask. One day I was called at 8 am to the sets and without shooting I was idle till 6 pm. I was told some talkie portion would be shot but whole day he shot dance. Over work we suffered all the days. I fell ill like Rashmee one day. Every 3 days once there was ‘ghalata’ on the sets. I had not given my Mysore number to anyone. Even that was also picked somehow. I was shocked when assistant director called to this number.
