Rashmi, Adarsh Faces Further Danger

The Kannada film actress Rashmi who is facing acid attack on her and death threat from Madan Mallu has approached the Bangalore City Police and filed a complaint seeking protection to her life.

This is in lieu of another telephone call to Adarsh received from Madan Mallu on making the threat open to media. Madan Mallu alias Madan Patel in his further threat sought apology from the actor Adarsh and actress Rashmi, Monica in front of the media for tarnishing his image. In case this is not done I would spread the news of you (Adarsh) and Rashmi connection, he further frightened.

Madan Mallu had called up to Adrash to his mobile on Sunday afternoon and on Monday morning at around 11.00 AM. He referred to an article in chitraloka. Mallu said it is damaging to him. And again at 1.00 PM he called Adarsh and told the report has been carried out in ‘Lankesh Patrike’.
He further told Adarsh that if he and Rashmi do not call the press and say what they have done is mistake. Otherwise I would damage the reputation of you and Rashmi. Since I am the producer I can do anything was what Madan Mallu told Adarsh’. Adarsh has told `What ever you have done I have told it to Mr. K.M. Veeresh. There is no chance of going back he persisted.

Earlier Madan Mallu had given a cheque to Rashmi as the remuneration. Madan Mallu has also issued stop payment notice to the cheque No. 140053 for Rs. 35,000/- and cheque No.140095 for Rs. 15,000 paid for Rashmi. When asked Mallu had told Rashmi that there is a Tax problem and he has made the stop payment and he would make the payment one day before the end of the shooting. On the last day of the shooting i.e. on 17th May, at the Fun World Mallu brother took the cheque back by paying 40,000/-. Till now the remaining balance amount is due to Rashmi. Like wise 10,000 is balance to Adarsh.
