Rashmi And Monica Hits Back Again

Artistes Rashmi and Monica sought apology from Madan Patel on Saturday at a crowded press meet at Kanishka Hotel but Mallu has excused them for their behavior. The acid threat by Madan Patel on his fellow artistes of the film ‘OK Saar OK’ has reached a piquant situation now with complaints from both the parties reaching the Apex body of film KFCC. The artistes (Rashmi and Monica) present at the press meet maintained what they have already disclosed to Chitraloka on this matter is the same they have to say at this meet. 

Perhaps this is the first press meet saw the attack and counter attack parties together and that’s why it was interesting to observe and assess.

At the beginning of the press meet Mallu handed over complaint documents he has furnished on artiste Rashmi to KFCC. He has not included the names of Monica and Adarsh in his complaint. He has also showed the individual letters he has written to attend this press meet for the complainants.  As Mallu was all set to say that they won’t turn to this media meet the complainants Rashmi and Monica arrived. Rashmi leaving her first year MA examination English II paper arrived to Kanisha Hotel to describe her frightening position. Mallu at this point told that Rashmi leaving her portions to shoot here rushed to Chennai on the pretext of her grandmother death and that has resulted in Rs.2 lakh loss to me explained Mallu. Adarsha also skipped shooting and as a producer and actor he should know the value of time and money Mallu attacked Adarsh for his farce. At this point of time Mallu informed he has a good career of two decades and he runs a gas agency and orchestra troupe and not the acid company. Why should I say this to my fellow artistes he added in his address. Rashmi and Monica are publicity crazy and that’s why they picked up this type of allegations. When Mallu lost his control and told that like a butterfly Adarsh is moving the senior journalist A.S.Murthy checked him and shut his mouth on unnecessary talks.

Rashmi present at the press meet disclosed that for 32 days call sheet 60 days call sheet papers were prepared and all of them have been forged. I do my usual signature as Shilpa L. For films I do the signature as Rashmee as it is my screen name. In one of the papers forged there is ‘Rashmi’ where as it should have been Rashmee. This is nothing but forgery and I maintain what I have told so far on this case Rashmi added in her address. The threats I have heard is prevalent in Bollywood but it has now come to Sandalwood Rashmi felt. Mallu interrupted at this time and told these girls are trying to bring Bollywood here.

Monica also present says I have friendship with Nadeem Khan since five years. He is our family friend. I have recommended khan because he does good job.  Mallu chose to bring relationship with me and Khan because of this and it is not correct. Monica also recollected what director Dayal had told. They had given very small costumes. I objected and most of the times I used my own costumes Monica who came from Mysore for this purpose added.

With the complaint letters of Mallu at KFCC, Monica filed a police case at Mysore Commissioner of Police and Rashmi mailing a letter to Commissioner of Police Bangalore with a copy to Producers Association and Artistes Association. In yet another complaint Rashmi is writing a letter to producers Association on forgery made by Madan Patel – there is more heat in storage on this issue.
