Director Anand P Raju, MalluYet another shady deal has come out from the cupboard of Madan Mallu alias Madan Patel. Presently famous for acid and murder threats on his own co -stars of ‘OK Saar OK’, Mallu’s forgery to acquire subsidy and other facilities has come to light for his earlier film ‘Police Officers.

The crux of this careless attitude of Mallu dates back to the film ‘Police Officers’. This film is based on the daring work of leading police officer Abdul Azeem. Now the point to ask is that can the same real life-cop Abdul Azeem takes action on Mallu for his forgery and threats?

Foegery Singature of Ananda Raju at the Top, Orginal Signature of Ananda Raju at the bottomDirector of ‘Police Officers’ Anand P.Raju (director of 13 Kannada films) makes his signature only in English. Whenever his fans ask him to sign he becomes a real Kannadiga. But the point to be noted here is that Mallu signed not only director Anand P.Raju signature in Kannada but also that of cameraman S.Manohar. This is besides not clearing their payment. When Manohar asked for payment for his cinematography Mallu had told that he is the future Chief Minister of Karnataka and thus he may make use of him then.

Forgery Signature of Manohar at the top, orginal signature of Manohar at the bottomThis forgery done by Mallu or his brother Shivashankar is not to submit papers to any private individual or any company. He has done such crime and submitted it to Karnataka Government Information department. From the duplicate copies to get subsidy and other facilities Mallu prepared another set of papers on the pretext of his original documents catching fire. In this document he submitted he did the forgery signature of director and the cameraman. The production manager of the film D.M.Nagaraj is in possession of original documents. He had even told the information department why you are accepting duplicates when original documents are in tact. This is where Mallu uses his dirty brain. When original documents require signature of director and others he has to get it. But at this point of time he has to settle the payment to obtain such signatures. To avoid all if duplicate documents and forged signatures are submitted how it will be he thought and did it too.

Accidentally the film ‘Police Officers’ cleared by the subsidy committee of the Karnataka Government has reached the ears of director Anand P.Raju. On knowing this Raju wondered how this could happen without his knowledge as his green signal is important like that of cameraman. When inquired in the information department he was given the documents to this effect. Baffled Raju immediately complained to the Directors Association and also dispatched a copy to the Producers Association.

Director Ananda P. Raju, Inspector Abdul AzeemBesides this insult Anand P.Raju has to get his 50 percent of remuneration for ‘Police Officers’ from the producer Mallu. The producer is dodging like how he is doing it for cameraman also. On knowing the filthy mind of Mallu, Anand P.Raju insisted on taking up this case with the Kannada Film Directors Association.

Now the situation is that Mallu was called a few days ago to settle the case at Producers Association. In this meeting he bluntly told that he is not the producer but his brother Shivashanker is the producer. But immediately Anand P.Raju present showed all the clippings pertaining to the ‘Police Officers’ and Mallu was flattened.

Madan MalluIn a meeting called by KANFIDA to inquire the insult injected on the fellow director Mallu was taken to task by Tiptur Raghu and Joe Simon. When he was told that the media has written that he is the producer of ‘Police Officers’ he immediately shot back – we say lot of things to get ‘Prachara’. All that comes in the print is not to be taken for account. For this alleged comment Joe Simon cautioned Mallu and said not to speak ill about the print media.
To give final verdict on this ‘Mallu’s Muddle’ a meeting has been fixed for 2nd June 2003.
