Girish Kasaravalli Leads The Team

The already announced the State film Awards committee has been revised. According to Chitraloka scoop K.M. Shankarappa occupies the head of the Awards committee replacing Girish Kasaravalli. In the place of  Ramadas Naidu and T.S. Ranga Senior journalist from Prajavani Gangadhar Mudaliyar and G.M. Shiratti, Former Director of Bangalore DD have been nominated.

K.M. Shankarappa (President), B. Jayashree, Gangadhar Mudhalihar, G.M. Shiratti, A.S. Murthy, Chetan Ramarao, Rajan, H.N. Maruthi, Abdul Rehaman Pasha and Ashok Badaradini.

The new committee for declaring the state awards for 2002-2003 would sit in the middle of next month.

There are 41 film in the fray for various categories of awards.

In the list of 41 films 12 are unreleased. The list of films are: Bimba, Kshama, Mouni, Singaravva, Olave, Bala Navika, Odu, Thavarige Baa Thangi, Halo, Sainika, Kichcha, Appu, Paris Pranaya, Wrong Number, Hollywood, Balagalittu Olage Baa, Preethi Nee Illadha Na Hegirali, Thuntaata, Parampare, Marma, Kathegalu Saar Kathegalu, Don, Karmugilu, Dhumbi, Nanage Neenu Ninage Naanu, Parusha, Laali Hadu, Kalarava, Artha, Devara Makkalu, Black and White, Indian Police, Joot, Adhu, DhadDhad, Heart Beats, Nandhi, Nagabharana, Mooru Manasu Nooru Kanasu, Gandhinagar and Dharmayodharu.
