Exhilarating
stunts is the hallmark of this film. Lavishly made film
with Mua Thai art of stunts for the first time on Kannada
screen is very well executed by Vijaya Raghavendra. The
foreign locations, cinematography and three good songs
(including the Belly dance) have come out well. Prakash
with two hits in his career takes us to the new world
through this film although he has added more of melodrama.
The story might be wafer thin but narration is convincing
and chilling at times. Prakash has taken extra care like
Vijaya Raghavendra has taken care in learning the Mua
Thai and performing in a convincing style.
Srikanth with his friend living in Bangkok is a daring
youngster. He has the ability to sustain the onslaught
from a dozen attackers. But his vision in life is to make
some money get back to his native place and release the
house of his father from loans. He is working as a servant
in a hotel in Bangkok. In one of his outings he happens
to save computer engineer Deepa (Jennifer Kothwal). In
the reels it becomes inevitable for Shri to bring Deepa
to Banglore. Deepa on the other hand is the one who helped
the robbers in looting Rs.500 crores of rupees in Bangkok
currency from commercial bank that is lead by Shetty (Rahul
Dev). Deepa who knows the secret code for the robber also
learns the secrets from Shetty gang stores it in a tape
and she is on a run. Further she dumps the few bags containing
Bangkok currency in a dilapidated car garage. This is
the reason why Shetty is behind her.
Back in Bangalore the search is vigorous from Shetty and
gang. Around this time the investigating agency from Bangkok
also arrives. The important tape of Shetty secrets in
the possession of Deepa makes her safe but her mother
and sister are kidnapped by Shetty. Now it is give and
take time. But Sri handles the situation with his will
power and muscle strength. After the fight to finish of
Shetty and gang the vibrant youngster Shri gets the Bangkok
government honor. From this he fulfills his sole intention
in life to get back the lost glory.
Vijya Raghavendra looks good, performed well taken lot
of strain and full marks for him. Jennifer is impressive
but her hairstyle and spectacle needed a different approach.
Rahul Dev with his (?) chilling voice and performance
suits immaculately. Ananthnag and Avinash are wasted.
Komal is very good once again. Shakeela does not shake
so there is no expected excitement from her.
Yaro neenu the duet song sung by Rajesh - Nandita on Vijay
and Jennifer is the best song of the film. Joke Joke,
Masthana Masthana
are peppy. It is time to celebrate
for Valisha Sandeep for having good tunes.
Krishnakumar has given a good glimpse of Bangkok in the
night times in the opening of the film. In rest of the
places he has been pretty good.
This is a must watch film for the strong effort put in
by Prakash and his team.
