'S.Narayan
has once again come with a winner in his recent film "Thaayiya
Madilu'. The film has also been produced by him and the
most successful director of the Kannada film industry
shows that he does not compromise anything even in films
that is made by him. The film is a product of a huge spends
with rich production values striking your eyes from the
scene one.
"Thaayiya
Madilu' entertains the entire family with its good package of sentiment,
comedy and action. There is a good story as a big foundation which
is built around some well presented commercial elements which makes
the film appeal to both classes and masses.
S. Narayan has
concentrated on the sentiment factor in the second half.
His script work has combined the commercial values with
powerful touching story which is narrated in a racy style.
The sequences of the second half is more appealing to
the family audience, while in the first half there are
enough number of comedy sequences that would widely appeal
the younger set of audience.
It is the performances of the film which are the major attraction
of the film. Shivaraj Kumar once again proves that he is on the top
as for as emotional sequences are concerned. He is certain the make
the audience weep in some sequences where he is pitted against Jayasudha
who plays his mother's role in the film. Multilingual actress Jayasudha
is top class in mother's role.
Rakshitha who
has been teamed up with Shivaraj Kumar for the first time
has also done well in some hilarious sequences in the
first half. Doddanna proves that he is a big all rounder
of the Kannada film industry who can excel in all type
of roles. Avinash and Shobharaj are as usual adequate
to the roles they perform.
