Puneet Raj Kumar the top star of Kannada films was considered as a crowd puller and a star material. But with his latest film 'Arrasu' he seems to have added another tag. He is really prince of performance in this film.

Quite different from all his previous films, "Arrasu' stands out for a matured performance of Puneet Raj Kumar who shows different facets of acting as a rich spendthrift NRI to a hardworking commoner aspiring to earn Rs. 5000 a month. And in the final lap of the film when he has to make a decision about the two heroines, he has really done his best.

"Arrasu' has many finer points, but it is the performance of all the lead artists which becomes the mainstay of the film. Meera Jasmine is equally brilliant and Ramya shines in the emotional sequences in the second half. Mahesh Babu who debuted through Super Hit film "Akaash' proves that his initial success was not a flash in the pan.

The first twenty minutes of the film which showcases the rich life of Appu will be real treat to his fans. Fans will also be pleased with Puneet's fights and his quick jumps and movements in the dance sequences.

Technically the film is top class. 'Arrasu' is a must watch for all the sections of the people including the Puneet fans. Female audience will be pleased to watch Meera Jasmine and Ramya competing with each other.
