We would like to coin it as 'Tower' Na Siri' for 'Thavarina Siri'. This is mainly because everything is on top of tower in this film. The magnanimity, sacrifices, affection in the subject, screenplay, the luxurious takings, splendid music and lyrics and once again on top of the tower is the powerful acting from main leads – Shivarajkumar, Ramesh Bhat and Daisy Boppanna.

Only Hamsalekha can give such touching lines. Take a look at the opening song in the film – Hasidaga Anna Dhanidaga Neeru Kodadidda Mele En Chandavo, Manasiddu Preethi Kai Iddu Dhana Madadidda Mele En Chandavo…..,This would go inside the Kannada culture.

One thing is sure. The precise application of mind by Shivarajkumar reminds his father of Bangaradha Manushya and Kasturi Nivasa. Well done Shivanna!

In the days of 'long' lasting films a neat and tidy film that compels the entire family to watch the film is difficult to make. Ramu Enterprises the committed banner has done it. Director Om Saiprakash continuing his trend of tearjerker with two successive hits 'Thavarige Baa Thangi' and 'Anna Thangi' has improved again. He was having one sister to hero in his earlier films. Now he has three sisters and not one vamp but two vamps.

Go watch this film with your entire family. You may find your brother or sister in this two and half an hour captivating sentiment film.

Muthanna (Shivarajkumar) is the real pear in his qualities in 'Lakshmi Nivasa'. He is the owner of factories, farm lands, milk station etc. He is rich and so are his attitudes. No harm to anyone. He knows only one thing – "to give but not to ask". He has come up from the scratch – Bevarina Siri – and brings up his three sisters with lot of care and affection. He looks for two of their marriage. The marriage is done in the rich style but the sisters do not adjust to city life because they are not educated. The right approach applied by Daisy Boppanna makes the sisters very modern and thus their problem is solved. In comes another problem for Muthanna. He is cheated to the extent of Rs.1.5 crores and almost at the same time he commits to conduct the marriage of his third sister at a cost of Rs.1.5 crores. As expected he has to renounce his all earnings, estate and agricultural lands and live in a dilapidated building. He gives away his sacred gold made 'Udadhara' (that is tied to the waist). He comes to the streets and eats a plate of 'Chitranna' (spicy colored rice). He faces the scene what he faced decades ago in a function while he is all set to take his meal.

From here the luck comes back to the side of Muthanna. In the property issue he was duped he gets back Rs.1.5 crores. He does not reel in his getting back of what he lost. He also gets back the fiancée in the climax.

Story and screenplay writer Ajaykumar has once again worked very cautiously in his four walls. There is grip, twist and turns at regular intervals to make the audience to sit and watch with eagerness. Slowly he is arriving at the formula of success?

Shivanna is the best of the lot. His sober looks, agile walking style, ability in dance and fight is at the top. Ramesh Bhat as the right hand man giving the right advice and struggling with his leader's sacrificial saga has been apt. Daisy Boppanna the beautiful lass has acting and dancing ability in this film. Perhaps this is the right film for Daisy to showcase her talent and she had done it perfectly.

Giri's interior cinematography is superb. When a director like Saiprakash is there the interiors capture in the camera is tough. The lush green lands, action scenes and dark lighting Giri has used give an additional pleasure to the eyes.

SPB's Hasidaaga Anna, Madhu Balakrishnan, Chitra, Nanditha and Mangala's Preethi Namma Thavarina Siri and Vijay Jesudas's Mathad Mallige….., and Madhuy Balakrishna's solo Balina Beedhi are worth hearing again and again.

This is worth a dhekko!
