 The
most lovable versatile actor Dr.Vishnuvardhana was felicitated
and a meet the press was organized by Press Club of
Bangalore on Wednesday morning at its premises.
The President of Press Club of Bangalore Ponnappa, Vice
President Ashok Kumar, general Secretary, Sadashiv Shenoy
and Treasurer K.M.Veeresh were present at this meet
the press on dais.
We bring you the highlights of one hour meet the press program
with Dr.Vishnuvardhana:
- I
am finding it not easy to receive this honor from Bangalore
University. I consider this as a blessing.
- After
receiving this honor on January 6th I keep this at the
top and I have to keep this in highest esteem, behave
in more responsible way. In case I reject this honor
I would be called other way. I said film awards are
enough for me.
- Some
people in the industry treat me like a Pakistani.
- For
the safety and security of Kannada and culture there
are already bigwigs in the industry. I just follow them.
- Without
any publicity I wish to work in the social sector. By
doing this I will be clearing the responsibility for
having taken birth here.
- I
am happy Bangalore has become 'Bengaluru'.
- I
do not want to comment on the Aptha Mithra controversy.
- The
prestigious Puttanna Kanagal theatre is neglected because
of the government attitude. I and Ambarish are ready
to give a facelift even today.
- Let
there be remakes and swamakes. Success is what counts
at last. Film industry is like a family.
- How
long the people would be there to see the violent films. That
will be made..
