The character that delivers the unexpected on the screen that is a surprise element for audience is what I want to portray. Sandeep a well educated an engineer by profession, a humble and sensible hero of 'Ramya Chaitra Kala' spoke to Chitraloka mega portal recently.

As a matter of fact I have got a fantastic role in 'Ramya Chaitra Kala' and nothing more I can ask. I am happy and content because this is the right launch from the sensible director Sunil Kumar Desai. I play a village guy who is innocent but at the same time has the power to think. Before selecting me for RCK director Desai has seen my earlier 'Karmugilu' and picked me. After the selection I learnt a lot of nuances and acted in the role of 'Channa'. I appeared like a raw material and Desai molded me. It is like how Desai did the film I have also indulged in the similar way. The presence of writer Jayanth Kaikini has always helped me in correcting myself says Sandeep.

Working in the camp of Desai I gained very rich experience. There will be no scope for questions. All questions have now got the answers when the film was seen. I did not believe. Brushed my eyes, pinched myself and finally realized that I have done the role. This feeling has come to me because I did not know the order of the film. The order of scenes was arrived only at the editing table.

Have you seen a similar character in real life?
Recently I was watching a television program and I come across the similar role I have played. Especially beating the coconut from the head fascinated me.

After doing such a fine role you might be wondering what next?
That is correct. Which role I should pick in future is a big question. As of now I do not have any offers. I want this film RCK to be released first. I am anxious to know the results.

Do you have any options?
I want to play a psychic or partially mad role. But when I sit and deeply think there are some more roles. But I have not given a serious thought to it now.

How was the work atmosphere for you?
It was hectic job but at the end of the day there was relief. Working in a Desai film is unique because he also works hard and that pumps extra energy for persons like me. That's why I say Desai is different. He has recognized my effort and taste. The role has also come out very well. He has patted me many times and appreciated two of my advices.
