The multifold intentions of Smt.Sadhana Shanker one of the producers of ‘Jootata’ Kannada film and partner of ‘Chappale’ Kannada film is excellent not because from New Jersey she is investing in Kannada films but because of the social services she had taken up from ‘Brindavan’ an association in USA working for the needy.

Mrs Sadhana Shanker with her brother Sudhir, elder daughter Sukrutha and family friend Ravi Rajagopal addressed the media.

‘I was born and brought up Chickmagalur. After marriage settled now in New Jersey with my husband Mr Shanker who is computer and immigration consultant’ I had gone through the rushes of the film and heard the songs of ‘Jootata’.  I happy on the outcome of the film disclosed Sadhana Shanker.

Highlighting the Brindavan Kannada Sangha (for which she is the secretary) she disclosed that the objectives of the Sangha are to provide charity besides organizing cultural programs. When Samarthana (students from blind school) was in USA the first charity was extended on behalf of 12 members association of Brindavan. Now we are donating 200 dollars to ‘Namma Mane’ started by Ms Roopa Iyer. In the forthcoming days we have plans to take up deserving cases she added.

Mrs Sadhana with interests in dance and drama has taken part in the cultural activities at New York and Detroit. Brindavan Kannada Sangha felicitated director of Kannada cinema Bhargava and playback singer Rajesh Krishna recently. Even before taking up film projects I had the intentions but time has come only now. The budget of ‘Jootata’ has touched Rs.1.4 crores Mrs Sadhana added to a question.

Ms Roopa Iyer who received 200 dollars cheque from Mrs Sadhana Shanker explained the intentions of ‘Namma Mane’. It is an old age home for mentally retarded. This is the first cheque we have received from ‘Brindavan Kannada Sangha’ Roopa Iyer thanked for the gesture.

Director of ‘Jootata’ N.S.Shanker, brother of Mrs Sadhana Shanker – Sudhir, producer Vijayakumar and cameraman of the film ‘Jootata’ Krishna were also present at the get together party at Rejoyz auditorium in Malleswaram on Wednesday evening.
