Shooting For Tamil Kadhala

The heartthrob of Kannada cinema the most successful heroine the charming Ramya is absolutely safe and in good health condition. Chitraloka spoke to the leading lass over telephone. She is in 'Kadhalal' Tamil film shooting and will be staying in London for two months.

Excerpts of an exclusive chat with ravishing Ramya:

What are you doing in London?
I have signed a Tamil film quite sometime back. August and September 2006 I will be in London shooting for Tamil 'Kadhalal'. Sham my co star in 'Thananam Thananam' is also acting in this movie. I have a very good role to play. Adhyaman is the director.

It seems you have declined a few of Kannada offers?
I could not make it for Shivarajkumar, Ravichandran and newcomer film offers because of this assignment.

You have taken a break after 'Thananam Thananam' shooting completion….
I have finished 'Jothe Jotheyalli' also. In Telugu I have finished 'Amruthavarsham' a remake of Kannada blockbuster 'Amrutha Dhaare'.

Why did you take a break when your career was rising like stock market graph?
I don't know anything about market. I have not studied my market also on any day. But break is necessary from routine shooting work. For more than two years I was getting ready to go to sets from 6 am and coming back to home around 8 pm and I was just taking rest of tiredness.

What have you done in the break time before going to London?
I have done a lot of work what I really missed when I was shooting. Getting up at 7 am and going through the routine work I was taking break fast and going to gym I was working for three hours. Then lunch and some other health related exercises and I was going to sleep at 10 pm. 'Kanthumba Nidde Madtha Idde'. I was extremely happy in my break time from films. Now I am back to acting.

What do you think about your fortune this year?
It is up to the media to decide. I have not given series of failures yet. Datta and Seventhi Sevanthi are quite convincing. I don't mind if some people write that I am a flop heroine. But that is not true. In the last two years I have acted with top stars and in 2005 I have bagged the hat trick. This year for some of the films I have signed because my closets requested me to sign.

Acting is boring sometimes for you?
When anybody for the matter gets stereo type roles it will be boring. I look for something different in my role from film to film.

Is this your third Tamil film?
Yes. I have done 'Kuthu' and 'Giri' in the past. This third film is shot in London, Andaman and Nicobar islands.
